You know what, I'd love to see a full Persona fic from you at some point. Doesn't have to be an insert into a pre-existing character, you could do like Trent did in his Persona/Senran Kagura cross in the SI thread.

Chapter 25, it's all downhill from there. Once the episode 2.5 starts it's just a race to the bottom, I dunno how long it went without an actual murder or Monokuma motiving someone to kill someone instead of just fucking up people's lives, I stopped reading eventually when it became clear that everyone is picking the worst possible choices at every interval.

Maybe telling the story from a different POV might work, like instead of "I am the Fated Villain" or "I am the Villain in the City" or whatever, you could have "I am a Villain System"

don't like stories that make jokes of their protagonist like this one; MC has to keep suffering pain, the 250 years of cultivation newbie pack was worthless, girls MC has eyes on all get taken, etc.

The other story where the MC became Yu Huatian is much much better imo

lots of tricks and intrigue and power struggles, and rejects stupid 1v1 duels and rejects letting people live and doesn't tolerate pretty girls trying to kill him

So Zoat, I recently went to the military history museum in Edinburgh Castle. And I could find not one reference to an actual Scottish victory.

As the only British person I'm aware of who responds to my messages, have historical Scots actually been that shitty at warfare?

The Scotts weren't shitty at warfare. Despite England being the more powerful, we ended up getting unified by 1) their king inheriting the English throne due to Elizabeth I not having children and 2) them needing a bail out after bankrupting themselves trying to build the Panama Canal in the wrong place.
