It feels like story based games are ruined if I look at their endings, but I can't help but look at the endings of these games

But it's like, once I look at the ending and know that I can get a harem ending if I do steps 1 to 9999, I'm like, that's fucking too much work fuck

I 100% used walkthroughs to make sure I didn't miss any hidden content in Black Myth Wukong once I found out there was content you could lock yourself out of in pretty much every chapter from 2 on. But I didn't read too far ahead, so the endings were still special to me

I feel that's still fine, cuz it's just an action game, you know, but with turn based story driven games where you collect party members like fire emblem but instead of coupling them you pair them all with your player insert harem... it gets ruined not by the ending but by the time sink required by harem end idk lol

Is Dyeing with Swords abandoned now? Just asking because I had suggested some plot points/lines that you said that you were gonna try, so I was kinda looking forward to that. Is this question rude/pressuring? I apologise if it is, it's not intentional, I just can't tell, sorry. If the story isn't abandoned, I'll keep waiting for an update.

It feels like in stories where you isekai collectively into a game (or "if you die in the game, you die in real life") on mass, like if everyone in the world enters a game, it turns out the NPCs/otherworld population aren't the most hateful, and it seems like no matter how you write, it's actually other gamers/players who are the ones who deserve to die the most,

I keep reading these stories where everyone in the other world are just minding their own business and going about their lives, and then these gamers come from another world, having already ruined one world and desiring to ruin another one with their filthy online memes and human behaviors

Makes me prefer the stories where players can't resurrect more than the ones where they have unlimited life
