As I've said to others, no it's not on hiatus, it and all of my other stories except my Legion story are still ongoing, I just don't have as much time to write as much anymore due to irl reasons.

A new chapter for the fic you're wondering about is about 80-90% done so far as far as content goes though so that could be out relatively soonish.

In terms of options, some plan quests give you very specific things you can do. In Cultivation Quest and my own for that matter, it's very much a sandbox for players to make up their own plans in. Players can do whatever they want, so in a sense there's infinite options, but because they aren't presented to players it can seem like there aren't many.

Yeah, sandboxes are cool. One of my favorite part of plan quests, Is where there are really interesting trade-offs and teased content.

It's more about how good your plothooks are, and then how well you deliver on them.

The tentacle monster cult was a cool idea, but like the implementation was underwhelming.
the only character that really stood out was the maid. But abstraction is hard. Most of mine have leaned towards being too zoomed in and not enough happening. Although, in general org quests tend to suffer from the opposite more often.

I asked like 7 months ago after having re-read the story and since I'm thinking of re-reading it again and you only liked my post without responding to it at all, I thought I'd try asking one last time.

It's just gotten a new chapter on his Patreon and apparently he runs a less than well publicized vote on his discord to decide which story to write for next and it just finally won a round of voting after 2 years of not doing so ... or so I understand

You're really new to the site so I thought I'd let you know you should review QQ's rules regarding thread necromancy. People will get mad and mods do lock threads over it. Requesting a thread unlock for a story you write isn't hard, but it is another step in the way of getting a new chapter out which is no bueno.
