Pretty funny update to read after we've decided to go adventuring on a Long Expedition
I know there's no italicized text saying this, but my interpretation of the update is that we straight up cannot go on the expedition anymore. Or, at least, it now makes no sense roleplay-wise for Velvet to abandon an explicitly given duty like that.
so I would have to strongly consider changing my vote for roleplay reasons given this new information.
I feel like this update is materially new info for the reasons above. And how does leaving during this crisis work narratively? (If it works at all.)

I guess I can think of a couple narrative solutions:
- Selene shapeshifts into Velvet and runs Equestria for us for a bit… it doesn't feel quite right to me, but maybe it would work. But we'd have to hope nothing truly bad happens. And, uh, never tell anyone we blew off running the country for personal reasons.
- The crisis happens to end sooner than the expedition starts, so there isn't actually a conflict.
Wasn't that talking about her death? (It seems like we have moved up one die on the Celestia ladder, but that now she and Cadance are both unavailable. Hopefully?)

We haven't had the roll yet to determine whether Cadance succeeds or fails yet. At the very least we still have Dinner to do before we get there, and potentially some other stuff depending on how Bird decides to line things up and what we can shift the schedule on.
Going by what I think the turn would be like, in a loose order of events...

@OurLadyOfWires does the 90-95 roll include the lore learning delay of the 70-89 roll or do we need to choose that as a positive opportunity?
To be fair? If we roll that high, there's gonna be such a collective sigh that we uh, don't know what's gonna happen.
Considering Biedde can come back to the Wake at turn 26... We will most likely just keep preparing for All In during turn 24 and have Selene keep Soothing so we can try and get to turn 25, for ease of befriending Smiles and possibly Neighnia, plus other stuff like Sacraments, Uncle Steppes gift, finishing exploring the Wastes before reaching Glory, try to reach All-4(maybe family lesson with free social?), throw Smiles at short expeditions for bits and other rewards, maybe finish tiding up Jade's house, finish the Bureau's education(Bureau at All In would be nice), maybe get more Wrong Keys since the ones we have won't last till All In if we get another turn.
I know I'm usually pushing us to get ready for All-In faster, because we have doom clocks hanging over our heads, but... It's worth noting that Biedde being theoretically summonable is a big step away from him being *summoned.*
Nonononono, Uncle Steppes is Biedde's pawn now and has most likely been introduced to the lores already or at least been taught Biedde's summoning circle.

Steppes also seemed to have some sort of plan when leaving.
