    Oh, I quite liked the extended universe novels, well, not so much the yuuzanvong part, but, like, you know, the other stuff

    to be honest, the prequels were limited by their era, special effects near that level would have been too expensive as a tv show, which it should have been, and movies were too short

    I guess it's a matter of how "divinity" is more defined in that setting and it's a vague concept that keeps getting retconned in WoW. It's like the further back you go, the more things make sense, because the further back you go, the more it's like DnD. For example, around WC3 era, before you had 'Elves and Tentacle People in Space', you couldn't, as a mortal do shit to even demigods
