    Oh, I quite liked the extended universe novels, well, not so much the yuuzanvong part, but, like, you know, the other stuff

    I guess it's a matter of how "divinity" is more defined in that setting and it's a vague concept that keeps getting retconned in WoW. It's like the further back you go, the more things make sense, because the further back you go, the more it's like DnD. For example, around WC3 era, before you had 'Elves and Tentacle People in Space', you couldn't, as a mortal do shit to even demigods

    I doubt even Cambrian could make that mess look good. I am not doubting Cambrian, I am just saying, there are challenges, and there are train-wrecks. I imagine Cambrian can make sexy shenanigans in almost any setting... but that one? I think its a pass.
