This past week has been nothing but ice skating uphill.

It's hot, I'm somehow getting nowhere with unemployment, and everything is just getting worse.

Even the frickin' library, where I could get some writing done to at least have that has been closed for some renovations.

hey is anyone else having problems with email notification ? I haven't received any all day despite my alerts saying multiple fics I'm watching have updated.
 
Are signatures broken for anyone else? Cant seem to see mine or anyone elses no matter the thread.

Most of us would be. I can't count the times people on SB went "Oh, I can do better! The Dark Side is a tool that you can use as you please with this simple trick-!" and then they find themselves fighting for their life in their throne room against by the very same jedi they shit on for being unwilling to engage with forbidden and heretical force studies who is well and truly done with their callous disregard for life. Mad cackling and/or furious ranting about how they can't see the greatness of their masterpiece optional.

Even ignoring that most of us are too selfish to be Jedi. Best we can hope for is some mid-aligned Force User that happens to have a lightsaber, and that's being really optimistic.

Anikin only got a pass because he's the Chosen One™ with an absurdly high ForceBS™ rating, and he needed that pass while being too young to post here.

Damn, now I want a story about a dreaded Sith Lord... but he's just character like Phantom Solitaire - he has no force powers at all. It's all tricks of the light and clever stageplay from a talented illusionist and stage magician.
