What could MMR do in The Last City? They're not needed

The place has The Guardians who I think mostly operate as Fireteams and rather than one big full frontal assault like how it looks like the 1st and 2nd Reclaimation war mostly went, do very very very well

There maybe no need for NIKKE anymore


I guess at best, they could try and "perfect the process" by finding out what went into the Exos and vice versa to make a new technology. So that they remember things better and the Mass Produced Ones look like their original selves.

Now that I think about it, the Vanguard might try to keep the Nikkes away from Vex-related missions temporarily, because as the car said, the Nikkes would get angry if they saw a Vex outpost, causing the Ark and Eden Nikkes to get carried away. due to revenge and personal hatred cause consequences in the mission and the vanguard decides not to include them in Vex or taken missions until they learn not to get carried away by personal resentment and revenge.

How many days did they spend in Destiny's world and how long would it be in Nikke's world? months or years?

She's in the virus, or at least her personality is, course that might be the Queen instead. If they're feeling like making the effort, extracting Red Shoes from it, in order to kill her again. Is a possibility.

Though, I wouldn't put off Red Shoes' corruption possessing multiple NIKKE and those transforming into Red Shoes. Think of what Ingrid said about how she thought a strong enough ego and memory could transform a NIKKE into another.

Frankly, it sounds like Frank Herbert's DUNE. Even if the Soul doesn't exist, the memory/personality can persist through space and time via sheer genetic memory.

Omake: Happy Birthday

The corruption was before Lukas, the data had taken physical form in the real world thanks to the Rapture Queen's research into the paracausal abilities present alongside the lost technology of the Golden Age

A shapely woman with short blonde hair, red eyes, a black sleeveless leotard and two VERY large "red shoes" was holding her hand to her face

"Lukas was it? I've been watching you for quite awhile through my many eyes"

Lukas knew who this one was, this woman, this bitch was responsible for so much suffering

"Red Shoes"

The blonde perked up at her name "I guess there's no need to introduce myself anymore, but it'd be polite to greet me a Happy Birthday, don't you think? I've just been reborn"

A big demented smile appeared on Red Shoes' face

"Once I've killed you though, will be the moment I am
Truly reborn!!!"

Lukas did not respond. He merely walked towards Red Shoes.

Smiling, she walked towards him as well before entering a sprint and turning into a blur, right before his eyes!

With his years of honed reflexes and combat experience, Lukas quickly reacted with a block as Red Shoes' leg hit his left side

Gritting his teeth, Lukas prepared to counter, only for it to form thrusters and throw him to the side with extreme force!

BOOM!!!

Rolling back up, he saw Red Shoes up in the air, quickly he teleported his rocket launcher to his hand as she dove towards him and fired

BOOM!!!

Emerging from the smoke, she kicked a wave of pure pressure towards him, luckily he managed to teleport away

'She's tough, I have to finish this quick, I know what to do'

'A Nova Bomb at close ranger with my maximum output!'

As Red Shoes went off to try and finish him with a downwards axe kick, she backed away, sensing something dangerous was about to occur

'This man is dangerous, but he can still die, I just have to make sure his drone is crushed'

Red Shoes proceeded to run, jump and fly around the battlefield in an effort to disorient Lukas

Before she suddenly appeared behind him, with Lukas barely moving fast enough

Using control of her nanomachines, she allowed Lukas to hit a "soft" part of her, only for his fist to be trapped in her left side

So far, she had only been using her "red shoes" for attack, but her change into a Heretic had vastly increased her physical abilities, she transformed her right arm into a clawed red rapture arm

But just when she was about to tear into him, a bright light appeared from above

It was…it was MUSTANG!!!

"ENTERTAINMENT!!!"

The light suddenly grew ever brighter, enough to blind even a heretic

But not Lukas, who had once purposely stared into the sun in an effort to blind himself after having seen something extremely NSFW whist in The Ark

"NOVA BOMB!!!"

The sudden release of a massive amount of void light tore right through Red Shoes, though even Lukas was far from unaffected

Red Shoes was thrown off and hit the nearby building

Her entire lower half was blown off

"I can't regenerate!?!?"

Hearing footsteps approaching her, she saw Lukas

Lukas looked at her fallen form and said "Truly this was our Destiny X Goddess of Victory NIKKE fanfic"

Red Shoes screamed and started crawling away using only her arms, getting an impressive distance before stopping and seeing a strange figure that looked like…no it couldn't be her

The white haired woman before her looked on and smiled

"Shall I save you Red Shoes?"

"Liliweiss!"

"For the Greater Good" I think could sum up MMR's research

Though, frankly I say that the Guardians were comparatively doing way better than the NIKKE, so I'd question the need to risk your eternal soul with a definite devil in the background

Going back as far as Destiny 1, I can't help but feel that Eris Morn was suspicious in the way of "Why do we have the lady delving in Dark Magic sticking around? She's clearly been mutated by those dark powers and now has an extra eye that glows green"

That the MC could make use of Crota's sword, could be said to be a foreshadowing that you could harness said dark powers without falling to them


When it comes to "dark powers" in fiction, I think they're only corruptive when it's clear something about it fries your brain, there's some extradimensional entities around assisting in frying your brain and to use them you may need to do evil shit like seeing people as resources for necromancy and thus further dehumanizing others around you


What protections would Ether think she has? It's "spiritual" rather than just "scientific"

I generally make it a rule for Destiny crossovers that as long as there is an open Vex Gate between two timelines, the rate of time flow is equalized. Well, they're both broke and homeless now, question is, who's gonna get un-broke faster or at all and who will have the bigger and/or nicer house

Had the merging of worlds occurred during or before the Red War, I could see Dominus Ghaul's chief advisor/foster father trying to make use of her, because it was becoming clear over time that Ghaul had "found religion" and was getting petty/crazy

Although the Ark does not know about Jien, I think that within a short time or a matter of time they will discover it, because Ingrid, Mustang and Andersen saw Jien and will possibly tell their squads.

How was Shaxx able to defeat Nikkes like inherit, Maiden, D, Maxwell, Guilty, etc?

In terms of power levels how strong are the guardians and lucas compared to the Nikkes in the game like Crown, Liberalio, Cinderella Rapi: Red Hood, Behemoth, etc?

Are the guardians at the level of a heretic? I honestly thought they were more powerful because they had magic, enhanced strength, or their extreme longevity of life.
Not to mention they easily defeat hordes of Vex. So Lucas is more powerful than Lilith and the queen together to defeat gods, I imagine.

Speaking of Behemoth, from what I saw, the 4 beasts are not loyal to the queen, and although Marian orders them not to attack the humans, Behemoth and the other beasts, not being loyal to the queen, can disobey her and will not hesitate to attack the humans. and guardians of the last city.

4. The giant flier Helm mentioned was the Hydra version of the Consecrated and Sanctified Minds. So a giant mutated vex hydra that looks like it is made of bleached wood and has too many eyes.

5. At the moment, Syuen and Jien have had it reinforced to them that the only reason they are alive is because of Lucas and the Last City. Who can amply reduce them to paste with minimal effort. So they are keeping quiet.

6. The Ark is probably going to show some racism toward Exos. More later.

It's probably much later to really really really show itself, but NIKKE tech looks to be powered by emotions, closest thing to Spiral Power

I think this can actually make them more powerful than The Guardians, or at least some of them

3-Speaking of Behemoth, I'm sure that here, unlike in the game, Behemoth will literally be destroyed in less than 5 minutes in her first encounter with Rapi and the MC, because here the commander is the most powerful guardian and Rapi has guardian powers that can easily destroy any Nikke enemy.
Behemoth and the 4 beasts will be destroyed in their first encounter.

5-What kind of things will they complain about? Blame the guardians and tell them that it's their fault for the destruction of the ARK?

6-With the Vex it's understandable because of the fall of the ARK, but with the Exo I imagine it has to do with why they are guardians or just because they are like the Nikkes.
But as I mentioned, unlike the ARK, the Guardians will not tolerate racism from their Exo friends, which could cause the Guardians and inhabitants of the last city to defend the Exo through force, as seen with Samantha, which could be like a reality check for the inhabitants of the ARK.

7-I imagine that it will appear in a flashback

8-It depends on whether I aim at the core or the head.

9-What do you mean that you are losing interest in this story?

10-I imagine that it will be difficult because the inhabitants, given the hatred they develop towards the Exo and the Guardians for the fall of the ARK, the negotiations would be complicated, not to mention that people like Doban and what remains of the central government try to put all the blame on the Guardians and Neomuna for the fall of the ARK.

Something I forgot to mention.
9-Dorothy I imagine would be completely frustrated because she couldn't get her longed for revenge because the Vex took it from her by destroying the ark and her "paradise" that was Eden also no longer exists and she has to team up with Cinderella (who will possibly refuse to forgive her and will continue treating her like a heretic) and with the raptures like chatterbox and the heretics.

To answer some of the above:

1. Godslayers and Goddesses is a story I do for fun as opposed to my two big fanfic passion projects, so it's more vulnerable to me losing interest in it and being abandoned. But I really have more interest in finishing this one than most of my other stories, since it actually has a decent following.

2. Rapi is definitely going to stomp Behemoth into the dirt at some point.

3. Still figuring out everything Syuen and Jien will complain about - some of the writing for this story is done by the seat of my pants.

4. Yeah, his death will be conveyed in a flashback. Lucas may have also exploited his resurrective immortality to synthesize several magazines worth of Vapaus bullets.

5. I'm considering have the Remnants of Goddess have a weird bonding moment with Lucas once he tells the Ark about the events of Forsaken. It amounts to bonding over lost comrades and how far you're willing to go to avenge them.

6. Addendum to the above, but as I have stated previously, Maxwell will figure out a way to make a machine that can show the memories of a target subject and will use it to help Lucas explain his backstory. The following events (from Nikke and Destiny) will be shown:

Nikke: Overzone, Red Ash, Old Tales, Footstep, Walk, Run

Destiny: everything up to Season of the Splicer (which is the point in the Destiny timeline that this story is set in)

We will also see the events of Nikke play out up until Chapter 13. That's when Ark Fall (the events just prior to the main part of this story) happened.

I am currently playing Witch Queen, well waiting for the PSN servers to go back up and only really intend to play until Final Shape(can I pay to Campaign Skip it and Beyond Light for my other two guys?)

But does it take place before or after this Season of the Splicer, thing?


I admit, I haven't seen Wisdom Spring, but I can only guess two things they'd bitch on about

A sheer lack of conveniences/luxury and being unable to continue whatever work she had

I think Jien would be curious to see what Golden Age tech may have produced whoever the original Lucas was, as I am guessing that RH-X is an artificial blood type and the original Legendary Commander was a product of the VTC


You said before that Syuen would be disgusted with Clovis Bray, but what about Jien? I still find being a giant robot head to be funny

Instead of getting to be a Transhuman God amongst men, he's stuck as a giant robot head and still has an ego

You shouldn't need to play the campaigns in order for any character.

TBF, her appearance was brief

I think it's gonna be awhile before we get to know a lot of other characters better as well

We still have only seen half of the Four Beasts and their origins haven't been fully explained, but I think they're the predecessors of the current ideology named Heretics, not sure if there are more of them either

We still haven't seen Liberalio fight, but I am guessing she involves helicopters or something

(Also, Campaign Skips are still available?)


When it comes to fighting the Heretics, how'd he deal with the sheer aErika advantage of someone like Nihilister?

The Raptures make it convenient that they fly close enough to be aimed at and killed

You can't skip through a campaign, but I don't think you need to play them in order. That is what I meant.
