Since I presume there are more NIKKE than there are Guardians, even if mostly Mass Produced ones

They can be support of sorts, shooting from behind whilst the Guardians fight more aggressively

The Commanders can comfortably plant their asses of varying levels of attractiveness (we can't be the only hot one in the Ark - Andersen doesn't count because he got kicked upstairs AFAICT) in chairs at HQ and run things from relative safety if they wish now.

The Nikkes, on the other hand, have a lot more firepower (including TANKS).

I think both parties will be happy with that.

That said, from what I have seen, it's an inflated job, the NIKKE on the field were already the ones doing the tactics and the like

Most surviving commanders will probably get forced into learning new skills and stuff that makes them less of a load on their squads.

I think many Guardian guns are just guns that were also Golden Age tech and before, so not that different

Still packs a punch and unlike NIKKE weapons, no need for super strength

Probably, but considering it is possible if tedious to shoot a Goliath Tank to death using primary weapons (and keep in mind Goliath Tanks can crack open starships with their main guns), I think city technology can keep up with anything the Nikkes use.

Takes me awhile to finish shooting one to death alongside other vehicles and relatively large mechs in-game

My power level is still rather low, can't do the quests that need established numbers

Just how would relations breakdown specifically? And enough for a war or attempted occupation by The Last City? Because I can't see The Ark trying to conquer, when the NIMPHs get in the way and they would feel like they're gonna have a hard time with the latter's NIKKE counterparts

Especially the ones based off their beloved Commander….which they need maintenance for due to how enthusiastic they are…wait a minute

A lot of things might not be canon, probably in case it goes against the Main Story's characterizations of some characters like Crow

Crow(pre-NIKKE name unknown) meets Crow(Uldren Sov)

As for what I was referencing, it was a series called FREEZING

Basically a series that showed how you should NOT do a "Non-Action Guy"

Though as I heard someone else say before about the Mangaka, he makes NTR Doujin, one particular series he abandoned was one wherein his cuck-like protagonist stopped being one….so he dropped it

The canon Commander may not be able to fight, but he does actively serve as emotional support, uses his head as much as possible, is a liaison between groups and represents the Counters and does what he can to defend them

They could also be comparable to the Däl sisters - so long as one remains, the others will return to life in seconds. The Taken Commander would be like the Däl sisters in that their Nikkes can be restored so long as they still live.

With the next chapters, maybe apart from Cinderella telling them the truth about her corruption, there will also be moments where the remnants of the central government, just like they did in Footstep, blame the Guardians for the fall of the ARK and the people of the ARK continue to blame the Guardians for the destruction of their home. This being a trigger for tensions between the inhabitants of the ARK and the Last City.

And also that it is revealed to the inhabitants of the ARK who are Nikkes and who hid it, like Hedonia, Cafe Maid and others, that their respective owners and leaders of organizations are NIKKES and that Zavala or Lucas create something to destroy their nymphs so that the Nikkes can live free.

How strong is their firepower?

Maybe Guardians can take on the roles of Commanders for a number of MPs and non-MPs?

Technically bodyguarding the Guardians as their combat style would be comparatively aggressive instead of shooting behind cover, so they would be giving much cover fire for the guys who can die as many times as needed in a single battle
