I get it, but Marian got the normal Guardian experience and, since we know what her factory reset settings are from Nikke, is mentally a child.

Yeah, it's honestly why I had a hard time shipping post-Amnesia self

Even her second transformation still feels like a child

Was kinda painful to watch Marian, given that we only knew the original her for at least an hour or two max in-universe and what was shown was a dutiful young woman who was glad to have someone care for her, even once and was happy that at least it was him to put her out of her misery

Really don't get enough fics beating on Chatterbox for that

All I can say is that Lucas beat the absolute shit out of him at some point and did the same to Nihilister. He may have also branded the latter o the butt by accident.

Nihilister couldn't sit for a week.

Also, Nihilister will probably feel some inadequacy once they see Riven in full.

Was Lukas able to beat Nihilister in a battle of sheer firepower with the Dawnblade? (My favorite Super, I don't use the others because this one is just super cool and actually practical in my eyes) Or compared to her, he can't use his flames for very long and is limited by cooldowns?

Didn't really get the chance here.

I keep waffling around on the exact point of divergence, but I'mve pretty much settled on it being the mission to take down Modernia, where the Vex get involved due to a Gatekeeper, but get enough data from it to create an artificial gatekeeper to keep them anchored to the world of Nikke until they can get even more data that lets them use their normal technology to invade under their own power.

Yeah, the Doro can't really manipulate people who know they are going on a suicide mission.

Though she's probably going to start losing it (along with all the other villain Nikkes) when she learns all the stuff Lucas has killed - the final boss of the Vault of Glass raid alone is the concept of predestined fate.

Marian's case was an excuse for shift up to turn her into a pretty girl without any justification.
and also to remove her from the story because they didn't want her to overshadow their favorite daughter, Rapi, in other words, pure favoritism from shift up towards Rapi in the purest Kishimoto style.

Marian doesn't participate in any events.

Rapi has more participation in events like the one that will be seen in the Evangelion Part 2 collab.

Not to mention that Rapi is the first to get over-spec instead of giving that position to Marian.

She is always the one who justifies any of her bad practices like her yandere schoolgirl obsession with the commander with her footstep past which is a forced excuse to make them sympathize with Rapi.
But again her story and other problems of hers in the game are forced and unnatural.

In other words, Rapi is the creator's favorite, a glorified uninteresting secondary character.

Marian is the ONLY protagonist, not Rapi.

I floated the idea of what would happen if the Big Three made Nikke weapons for Guardians on SB, and the general consensus was that they would all have high recoil, but nothing unified after that.

Now that I think about it, for both Guardians and NIKKE, where do they get all the ammunition? Does it really just pop out of whoever and whatever they kill?

Also, just finished Witch Queen, was gonna really go into Lightfall, but I find Nimbus to be obnoxious AF and want to complete my set of subclasses for everybody else

Any suggestions on how to more quickly finish Beyond Light?

It's still a bit of a theory, but I think 3D Printers have been proposed to make stuff like organs and DNA, a few years to decades from now, but we're getting there IRL

Ghosts aren't shown to be capable of terraforming (which would include being able to create organic compounds to use for making food), so not sure.

On the other hand, the 2023 Festival of the Lost lore has a Ghost with a candied apple shell, so who knows.

I have a bit of a headcanon that since they're from The Traveler, taking them apart would maybe lead scientists to being confused as to how they even function

The Traveler itself did that attack on the Witness that made trees and some localized terraforming

So maybe they could do that, at higher levels, since even they don't know all that much about the Traveler itself

Ether: We need to get something g from these brass machines to study.
