Best guess, Clovis was lazy.

Though I also head-canon it that Bungie wanted to have Exo being less properly human to emphasize some transhumanism ideals - society has grown to the point that people don't have to look human to be human.

Also, I am considering have the Vanguard reach some kind of agreement with the Big Three involving all the data they got from the Deep Stone Crypt and Nikkes. Syuen gets trusted on this because the Vanguard can throw her further than the CG cause she is smol.

I guess also that it's way cheaper and easier to just go with looking like a robot, longterm

Especially after much physical damage and wear and tear

Are they still the Big Three when they don't have much cash or get essentially bought up by whatever other companies call The Last city, home?


Also, like the NIKKE, even with memory wipes, the soul remembers

Big Three still have some stuff to work with - they took a few things that they could use to barter stuff with. Missilis still has some of their research stuff, Tetra Line I'm still figuring out but it's mainly entertainment things (Mustang will love working with Eva Levante), and Elysion has a lot of military material, plus the Admire and the trains used by Infinity Rail.

Also, since it's not too much of a spoiler, Elysion will, per a suggestion for SB (I think it was VATS), probably undergo a merger with Hakke in the near future to consolidate resources for both parties - Ingrid and Elysion will get to keep working as is, while Hakke gets multiple new weapon and vehicle designs to work with.

Entertainment Media

From what I see from ontop the Tower, it looks like a modern to futuristic city

In both D1&D2

Surprised there's any places to walk much, wonder if they figured out a city design that's futuristic but made for people instead of cars

Even Frank Lloyd Wright couldn't fix how the architecture would over time make depression


Whatever entertainment media the Last City has, makes me think it'd be rather lacking or undeveloped compared to even today…..to keep the science fantasy /planetary romance aesthetic(minus the everybody barely wearing anything)

Only two NIKKE have been to space and it was via a space elevator rather than a proper spaceship

How the Big Three took a few things to barter stuff with?
I mean with the evacuation how did they even get anything out if the Vex were almost everywhere?

Will Elysion merge with Hakke and continue working as if nothing had happened? But Ingrid has very few resources or almost nothing and the CEO of Hakke will surely be Ingrid's superior because I doubt that they will give the position of CEO of Hakke to Ingrid...

because the inhabitants of the ark are still trying to learn the customs of the last city.

The fact that the ingredients aren't Soylent green?

Just a thought, most of Destiny on Earth is set in Europe, I think The Last City is somewhere in South America

But surely there's an entire planet of wildlife to turn into ingredients

Snow Wife tells people what a "pineapple" is whilst eating it, where did she get it and why is Rapunzel panicking when it's being put ontop of a pizza?

I like pineapples, but I still think they should not go on pizza.

Also, Revenant confirms that pineapples still exist in Destiny - Eris ends up being touched when Drifter manages to find one for a bento (this was part of the stuff you did in the last two weeks of Revenant to get the Chatterwhite shader). So maybe Snow White finds it early.

Also, I'm planning on having Exotic and the ACPU be the Nikkes to help Lucas apprehend "Osiris" at the start of Season of the Lost.

I don't think Crow is gonna be laughing when she sees exactly who has been using Osiris for their plans.

Why exactly would he need their help to apprehend Osiris? Currently on Witch Queen still

Since this game doesn't exactly have a way to more linearly be able to play events, I am sort of confused

Plus, I think it was Vaulted and at most you get Raids

Osiris spends most of Season of the Splicer stoking tension in the Last City and throwing shade on House Light. The lore entries for the Season eventually reveal that he is being possessed by Savathun. Season of the Lost is where this finally gets forced into the open, with the Seasonal Story focusing on trying to complete a bargain with Savathun for his freedom.

Edit: Actually, Savathun has possessed Osiris since the start of Beyond Light's seasonal content. Splicer is just when it becomes obvious, and Lost is when the Guardians move to break said possession.

Even watching all the cinematics in chronological order, hard to know everything still, mostly because of Vaulted Content and many Sidequests

So thanks, easier to know how things unfolded

I'm not even sure how/when Mithrax was first encountered, or how specifically the House of Light got into the Last City, aside from a big spaceship or two, especially since they're the guys whom the humans really have just about every right to hate and call "Fallen"

Zavala and Ikora Rey were definitely being very understanding of the situation

Mithrax is a post campaign boss from Destiny 2's Day One content, being faced on a post campaign mission on Titan. You have to race him for a Methane Reactor, culminating in fighting him and a Hive boss at the end of the mission. If you didn't shoot him once during the final battle, he leaves in peace as soon as the Hive boss is killed.

He goes through a whole arc in the lore of Forsaken and it's seasons where he decides to put faith in mankind, eventuality leading to the foundation of House Light.

It's a LOT of content and after awhile I get a brain fog from being stuck in the same series/franchise too long

But man, I'd really like to have all of this brought back even only as raids


If The Ark had come by much earlier and intact, I think I can say that all this crazy would be more than enough reason to treat The Last City as not existing, like Eden

Though that Eden's only Team Inherit plus Johan and Cecile is probably more than enough justification to think it a non-factor

Eden is bigger in this story. Mostly because I'm not sure how they could even bluff the Ark into thinking that a war between the two is infeasible if Johan, Inherit, and Cecile are the only ones living there.

Actually, I don't consider it canon because let's say that the director or creator is not technically capable of thinking clearly about the answers, it's better not to put that in your story.

Seriously, the team shows that they don't know how to write or structure a story because the game is only fanservice and epic things out of nowhere with script holes and things that the creators themselves don't know how to explain, like the typical wattpad fanfic
