wouldnt that result in a lot less people viewing this fic?

Cause everytime I look at a SFW fic in qq it feels like a complete ghost town where theres barely any people talking/replying there(or maybe I keep running into low view fics I dont remember, its been 2 years since I last looked there).

Also isn't NSFW also for others things besides smut if he wants to try stuff besides smutt i mean he could easily do so star wars is a pretty grimm universe when you get down to it. I know its like tje primary aspect in QQ but I mean there is more than that.

I completly avoid that section, feel like SFW fics are more prone to avoiding killing even when needed
 
Also what is with this rubber balls?
As so far the only named character who we didn't seen playing with one is the commander of the army. Which is also the only one we didn't have a pov.
Is rubber this planet's main export or something?
 
Nice chapter + interlude. I think the mc should focus on getting a small shipyard going when he has the capital from all the mining to do so. Also see if you can download any data from the separatists ships. Who knows maybe they had coordinates to a separatist shipyard that was shut down at the end of the war.

I mean, if the story later down the line show some NSFW stuff, like all the sex slaves/slave labor that do exist in the Empire from the POV of the MC then it is better to just be here anyway, maybe the Author will give us a bone and get our industrial complex going on and murder fuck all the pirates in this Sector and that sometimes is NSFW so like :/, idk we already have a thread for this in the Off-topic section anyway for this kind of discusion.

I have been waiting for a fic that about a non force user Imperial, it's really hard to find one. Any that I have found only has 3-4 chapters 😔

Well looks like MC made the smart choice. Especially for that money. And the Ex-Rebel ignored the message. Great 👍 our MC will survive for a bit longer and fill up his pocket with that sweet sweet credits. ;)

With some good docking and maintenance facilities, I can see Minda becoming a decent small trade port. Nothing to challenge the big players or attract a Moff's attention. Just a place for one ship captains to park their freighters and get some patchwork and R&R.

Given that Las is looking to make the main infrastructure builders a State owned company, that means any new port is probably also going to be State owned with space leased to companies. Imagine the Rebels' surprise when a dock isn't filled with hidey holes for them and security isn't corrupt and incompetent.

This is era of cheap worker and intense 12 work hour schedule in chip factory of Taiwan.


If you don't have enough cheap worker and intense schedule then you will lose badly in economic of scale.

But I think star wars is pretty much space feudalism.

Normal industrialism should still outcompte 99.99% of galaxy.


I probably go full million of cheap droid and create industrial planet.
 
Hmm kinda curious to see where this goes as like someone pervious said if this is canon, eu or some kind of mix, it's hard to say what the goals of the Rebels are, they could be looking to set up a local base, looking gor some recryuitment or just be doing some intel gathering as mc may not be of much interest any information he may have on his mother and sisters may be what there after.
 
I also wonder why Starwars don't use solar power.

They have a lot of sand and twin sun.


I think Mad Max:Furiosa ,George miller subtly admit that if you just use solar panel then you don't even need to raid gasoline from each other.

The sun is free.


Starwars already have technology to use the sun as weapon.

Solar panel should be easy compare to change the sun into bullet.
 
rebels are 100% interested in his family more then him but i wonder if after they find out what he is up to and what kind of person he is if they will try to turn him so they can turn the system into a safe place to hide/resupply. because it is so early in the time line there are so many things the MC could find from the CIS like ships bases and stations to full droid works and even if he can't get to them to use if he wants he can give the info to the rebels

The problem with that is we do not know the state of damage that has occur to it as it seems from first glance that its relativity intact for crashing into a planet, even if it dangling over a ravine may bit of problem yet there was no attempt to recovered it and it cargo.

Keep in mind most Star Wars military space ships were build tough especially those larger than a cruiser size. There is one ship that crashed on a lava world from the KOTOR era that was still around during the BBY era empire (hint meatbags), and had a certain famous droid in it.

Keep in mind this is before star killer (Vader's apprentice) so there is not much of an organized rebellion.

Yes there are places like that and I think that's were that troop transport comes in: doing a route collecting goods for export from the system and neighboring ones going towards developed worlds in the core direction to sale them and return back loaded with specialty industrial equipment, luxury goods and colonists that might want to try to earn a living on less crowded worlds....

Interesting story.

Edit: Just got the thought that depending on how well things evolve for the MC it might turn out that the backwater system ruled by the black sheep turns into the bolt hole and refuge for the entire family when things finally turn to shit in the Empire (since every single family member seems to be an Empire careerist of some kind).

A Possible Future of falling upwards.

After the Battle of Endor.

This has unforeseen consequences from the new command officers (former NCO who actually ran everything) once they executed their political appointed captains.

30 years later.

MC, "What do you mean I am the last leader of the old Empire so that makes me the Emperor. Not interested."

Crowd of thousands of captains, "But Sir, we voted you into the position and you do have enough ships." Points toward the several thousand Star Destroyers and their hundreds of thousands escorts and fighters as well as the orbital ring he built and the space habitats to feed everyone.

MC, "That's because you all showed up here without any input from myself and wouldn't leave so I had to make sure you at least had enough to eat so you wouldn't cause problems. And it kinda snowballed from there."

Yuzan Vong jump in system, cue evil laugh, " You thought you could hide from us. But no one expects the Vong (read Spanish) Inquisition! … Wait why did we run out of firebugs to show ships? There is how ma… BOOM."

MC, "Sigh, now I know someone is messing with me. Alright, fine I will be the duly elected President, not going to get called Emperor (everyone else calls him Emperor when he is out of earshot). Send out the Fleet, and start cleaning up the New Republic's messes."

Everyone else, "Finally, something to do other than scan something."

Alderanian Garrison Commander, "Finally we get to burn the heretics."

Why would Las want to join/help the Rebellion? That's just asking for trouble to come to him and, even worse, the Rebellion is a money sink that generates zero profit. The most likely reaction to the Rebels making contact is Las telling them to get the fuck out of his system and he will pretend he never saw them.
