[ ] Additional Armaments: Most Champions only have one weapon, but by investing some Sparks, additional weapons can be given. Can be picked up to two times. (5 Sparks).
It's a sort of gun that shoots spikes of condensed and hardened void matter, so Ranged. Her Core Magic let's her make Void Matter and shape it into simple shapes, weapons (like most regular swords, axes, and spears), structures (walls and ramps), and tools (screwdrivers, hammers, rope). These constructs don't last long if Kuuhaku isn't holding on to them. This power is cheap, though the bigger the construct the more energy it takes. What's her default weapon if we don't pick this? If we don't pick anything upgrading her powers, what exactly can our new champion do? Is it any good compared to the "average" magical girl?
I guess that depends on how Void Heart works exactly. I'm assuming that the "physical enhancement" part of it also covers durability, although I guess Reinforced Outfit can stack its defensive boosts on top of that if we want her really tanky. And her whole body being made of shapeshifting void goop sounds like a really effective disguise, so the main reason to get Enhanced Masquerade instead is if she happens to transform in front of someone she shouldn't.[X]Plan Nothing Can't Solve Everything
-[X] Void Corrosion (10 Sparks)
-[X] Void Reduction (10 Sparks.)
-[X] Void Body: (10 Sparks)
-[X] Void Vault: (5 Sparks)
-[X] Void Door: (10 Sparks)
-[X] Reinforced Outfit: (5 Sparks.)
-[X] Enhanced Masquerade: (10 Sparks.)
We should probably have a few non-Void related abilities.
Although you did make me look at the Champion and Civilian Upgrades (which I'm guessing are generic for all Champions compared to the more specific Magic ones) again, and now I wonder if I should exchange Vault for one of them. Favor of Chance maybe?
Those are the Generic Upgrades, though some Champions might have a few "special" upgrades in those sections, though it usually boils down to "take a Talent that person naturally possesses, and Boost it using Sparks so that it reaches the realm of the Supernatural" (Civilian) or "Take an trait of the Champion and fashion it into an Power" (Champion).(which I'm guessing are generic for all Champions compared to the more specific Magic ones)
She does, but my plan simply doesn't have the budget for Ignition of Friendship. We're just going to have to put in regular effort to find more friends.
I thinks so. So since you told us that her default weapon is a sort of gun, she's starting of decent on Ranged. Which means if I want to lean into the Touch of Death synergy of a corrosive, physically enhanced, shapeshifting Void-matter body, then it'll probably help to give her either Melee or FIST…I think I'm feeling FIST (or would it be something like claws?) to go with the gun.
Fist would probably be best, since she can just shape Void Matter into swords and spears and other normal melee weapons that lack mechanical complexity.I thinks so. Alright, and edited my plan. Wow, looking at it, that's a pretty scary build for her now.Fist would probably be best, since she can just shape Void Matter into swords and spears and other normal melee weapons that lack mechanical complexity.
With Void Reduction, she could pull a convincing recreation of the Stand ability of "The Hand".Alright, and edited my plan. Wow, looking at it, that's a pretty scary build for her now.
Thank you! I like the idea of it myself since it give the Champions their own version of perk trees. Two more "generic" ones and their personal Magic one.
