Original Character Do Steal (Sort of): Arturia Pendragon-Arc & Shirou Arc – The Last Queen of Albion and Her Husband New
Arturia Pendragon-Arc Profile
  • Name: Arturia Pendragon-Arc
  • Allusion: King Arthur / Artoria Pendragon (Fate series) combined with historical echoes of Joan of Arc and the legendary Round Table.
  • Naming Process: Arturia is the feminine form of Arthur, directly referencing the Once and Future King of British folklore and the Fate series' Artoria Pendragon. Pendragon is the ancient Welsh epithet meaning "chief dragon" or "head dragon," symbolizing supreme royal authority and draconic might.
  • Age: Mid-to-late 110s (appears in her early 40s due to exceptional Aura vitality and the lingering effects of her Semblance)
  • Background: Born the heir to the throne of Albion, an island nation and Remnant's Britain analog, Arturia ascended young as her empire fractured. She led Albion through the Great War as its once-great empire collapsed, commanding the Round Table and forging legendary victories alongside her future husband Shirou. After the war she abdicated rather than prolong conflict, allowing Albion to peacefully merge with Vale into the modern super-state. She retired with Shirou to Radian, his ancestral home. When tragedy struck and their eldest son Jonathan Arc and his wife Elizabeth were killed by Grimm, she and Shirou raised Isabel and her siblings as their own, instilling the values that they were raised with. She still resides in the Arc family farmhouse, quietly watching over her great-grandchildren and enjoying her golden years.
  • Race: Human
  • Emblem: The Pendragon Dragon-and-Sword crest: A red dragon coiled around a silver sword.
  • Weapon: Excalibur, a legendary longsword of unknown origin capable of channeling Aura into devastating energy waves. Currently retired in a sealed case within the Arcadia Mausoleum, though she can retrieve it in moments of true need.
  • Semblance: Dragon Heart: Arturia manifests a draconic Aura field that massively amplifies the physical and combat capabilities of herself and any allies within a wide radius. It grants temporary "kingly" enhancements: heightened strength, speed, endurance, and unbreakable morale. In her prime it turned ordinary soldiers into legends and made the Round Table nearly invincible.
  • Appearance: Petite (5'2"), elegant, golden-blonde hair now silver-streaked and worn in a simple braid, piercing emerald-green eyes, regal posture that never fully faded. Despite her age she carries herself with quiet grace and occasional flashes of battlefield poise.
  • Outfit: Simple yet refined — soft blue dress with a white shawl, practical gardening gloves, and comfortable boots for daily life in Radian. On formal occasions she wears a modest navy gown with subtle silver embroidery of the Pendragon crest.
  • Personality: Warm, patient, and endlessly kind to children and great-grandchildren. Still carries the quiet authority of a queen who once led armies. Deeply devoted to Shirou after decades together. Can switch from baking scones to disarming threats in seconds when old instincts surface. Loves gardening, storytelling, and spoiling her family, yet beneath the gentle exterior remains the sovereign who once shattered battalions. Still loves her husband's cooking, especially burgers.
  • Notes: A living relic of Remnant's imperial age, Arturia embodies the ideal of the reluctant monarch who chose love and peace over endless war. She and Shirou raised Isabel and her siblings after Jonathan and Elizabeth's deaths. Though the world has mostly forgotten the fearsome warrior queen, her Semblance and Excalibur remain ready should true darkness return. She finds quiet joy in watching Jaune grow into the knight like the ones she fought beside.

Shirou Arc Profile
  • Name: Shirou Arc
  • Allusion: Shirou Emiya (Fate series)
  • Naming Process: Shirou is a Japanese given name meaning "fourth son" or "gentleman," evoking the selfless, weapon-forging protagonist of the Fate series.
  • Age: Mid-to-late 110s (appears in his early 50s due to exceptional Aura vitality and active lifestyle)
  • Background: Born the son of a mainline Arc and a Mistralian husband, Shirou was the last Arc to reside in the original Arcadia Manor before it burned. He met Arturia during the Great War, fought beside her as one of the Round Table's most reliable knights, and became her husband and staunchest protector. After the war he brought her home to Radian, helped restore an old farmhouse on their lands, and raised ten children with her. When tragedy struck the next generation, he and Arturia raised Isabel and her siblings as their own. He still lives in the old family farmhouse, running his restaurant, blacksmithing, and quietly supporting his family when Jaune attends Beacon.
  • Race: Human (mainline Arc mother, Fuujinese father)
  • Emblem: The Arc Family Crest with a subtle Pendragon dragon motif woven into it.
  • Weapon: Kanshou & Bakuya - paired short swords he forged himself during the war.
  • Semblance: Unlimited Blade Works - Shirou can manifest duplicates of any weapon or tool he has personally analyzed and "scanned" with his Aura. Each duplicate is approximately 20% less powerful and durable than the original, but as long as he has Aura he can create and telekinetically control dozens (or more) at once. In his prime he could project entire walls of blades or rainstorms of arrows to shield Arturia's flanks; he now uses it mostly for farm work, teaching, and the occasional dramatic "grandpa moment."
  • Appearance: Tall, lean, tanned, white-haired with kind amber eyes and a gentle smile. Carries himself like a storybook knight who found peace. Still moves with surprising agility when needed.
  • Outfit: Simple attire: Sturdy work shirt, apron, practical trousers, and boots for daily life on the farm or in his restaurant. On formal occasions he wears a dark red coat with silver trim and the Arc crest, with black armor underneath.
  • Personality: Warm, humble, and endlessly supportive. The calm center to Arturia's quiet strength. Loves cooking, teaching sword forms in the barn, and telling (slightly exaggerated) war stories that make Arturia blush. Still calls her "my Sabrer" in private. Finds deep joy in watching his family thrive and in the simple peace he helped create.
  • Notes: The devoted knight who laid down his blades for love and family. Together with Arturia he raised Isabel and her siblings after Jonathan and Elizabeth's deaths. His Unlimited Blade Works remains a quiet safeguard: A reminder that even in retirement, the Round Table's most reliable sword still stands ready. He finds his greatest victory not in war, but in the peaceful life he built with the woman he loves and the family they raised.

Original Character Do Steal (Sort of): Aqua Arc, Goddess of Water and Tangy Arc, Butcher of Balto Pass New
Aqua Arc Profile
  • Name: Aqua Arc
  • Allusion: Aqua (Konosuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!)
  • Naming Process: Aqua means "water" and "blue".
  • Age: 21
  • Background: Once considered the brightest medical prodigy in the Arc family. She was on track to become a doctor even more accomplished than her mother Isabel, but cracked under the immense pressure at age sixteen. She ran away from Radian, dyed her blonde hair blue, and joined the dysfunctional adventurer/mercenary party KDAM (Kadmium). For years she has traveled Remnant as their field medic, using her powerful Water Control Semblance to heal wounds, purify water, and occasionally flood battlefields when emotionally overwhelmed. The party specializes in retrieving ancient relics, escorting clients through Grimm territory, and taking on high-risk contracts that sane teams avoid. Has a long, messy off and on again relationship with her team leader/boyfriend Kazuma, whom she saved from drowning.
  • Race: Human
  • Emblem: A stylized blue water droplet shaped like a teardrop, wrapped in the Arc family crest with tiny bubbles rising from it — symbolizing both her Semblance and her dramatic personality.
  • Weapon: "Asclepius", a long staff she uses as a quarter staff. She can put Water, Ice or other Dust into the slots to enhance her Semblance or her healing.
  • Semblance: Hydrokinesis: Aqua can generate, shape, and manipulate large volumes of water with extreme precision, as a liquid, solid, or gas. In combat she creates pressurized water blades, flooding attacks, ice spears, or defensive barriers. Her true specialty is healing: she can close wounds, purge toxins, and even stabilize critical injuries by controlling the water in a patient's body. In combination with Healing Dust use, she is an expert medic. The Semblance is tied to her emotions; the more distraught she becomes, the more water she unconsciously summons, which has led to several accidental indoor floods.
  • Appearance: Pretty young woman with long, vivid blue hair (dyed from her natural blonde) usually worn loose or in a messy ponytail, bright blue eyes that are almost always watery, and a curvaceous figure.
  • Outfit: Casual: Oversized blue hoodie (often stolen from Jaune or Kazuma), short shorts or leggings, and comfortable boots. When on an adventure, a blue and white outfit with a short skirt, leggings, and often no panties. When forced into anything formal she wears a simple white-and-blue dress that conveys her beauty. She keeps a small emergency medical kit at her hip at all times.
  • Personality: Extremely dramatic, emotional, and prone to hysterical outbursts followed by immediate demands for comfort food and booze. She complains constantly about her "useless goddess" reputation and every little challenge, yet genuinely cares for her family and party members. With Jaune she is affectionate to the point of tackling him on sight, but also quick to call him a "jerk" when he teases her. Deep down she is terrified of being seen as a burden or failure. She has a surprisingly sharp tongue when cornered and will defend her loved ones with sudden, terrifying competence.
Tangerine "Tangy" "Tanya" Arc Profile
  • Name: Tangerine "Tangy" "Tanya" Arc
  • Allusion: Tanya von Degurechaff (Saga of Tanya the Evil)
  • Naming Process: Tangerine is from the orange-colored citrus fruit: a deliberately unusual, almost whimsical given name chosen by her parents to stand out among the more traditional Arc names; she despises it and insists on being called "Tangy" or "Tanya" (the latter being her preferred professional alias). "Tangy" evokes both the sharp citrus bite of her personality and her tendency to "cut through" bureaucracy and enemies alike.
  • Age: 20
  • Background: One of Jaune's older sisters and a prodigy of strategy and logistics. After dropping out of the Atlas Njörðr College of Business, she founded the Private Military Company Salamander, building it into one of the most feared and efficient mercenary outfits on Remnant through ruthless efficiency, cutting-edge tactics, and zero tolerance for failure. Salamander specialized in eradicating bandit enclaves, clearing Grimm-infested territories, securing new resource veins, and providing high-end protection contracts. Her most infamous operation, which earned her the nickname "Butcher of the Balto Pass", saw her annihilate a major bandit coalition that had been raiding Atlas supply lines for years. After the Breach exposed how deeply Vale's defenses had been compromised, the Council commissioned her directly into the Valean Defense Force as Colonel and gave her carte blanche to rebuild the entire security apparatus from the ground up. She now commands the defense of Vale itself in the lead-up to the Vytal Festival, working closely with Atlas Specialists (including Winter Schnee) while still running Salamander on the side as a deniable asset. She has taken on First Lieutenant Viktoriya "Visha" Ivanova as her fiercely loyal aide-de-camp.
  • Race: Human
  • Emblem: The Arc Family rainbow crescent crossed by a stylized silver saber, with a single blood-red droplet at the point.
  • Weapon: "Devil's Due" — A Dust-infused saber with a hilt etched in the Arc rainbow crescent. The blade channels Fire, Lightning, and Gravity Dust for explosive slashes, electromagnetic parries, or sudden aerial maneuvers. Secondary: "Devil's Receipt": An Atlasian AR-84C Rifle with custom bayonet attachment with Dust-infusion.
  • Semblance: Devil's Calculation: Tangy possesses an instinctive, Aura-enhanced tactical foresight that lets her instantly calculate trajectories, movements, and optimal engagement vectors with machine-like precision. In combat it manifests as an almost precognitive ability to read the flow of battle several seconds ahead, allowing her to issue orders that seem to predict the enemy's next move. Outside combat it makes her an unparalleled logistician and strategist; she can plan entire campaigns in minutes and spot weaknesses in fortifications or cybersecurity that others miss for weeks.
  • Appearance: Short (5'2") but striking young woman with short, messy-cropped blonde hair, intense ice-blue eyes, and a perpetually stern, doll-like face that belies her age. She carries herself with the rigid posture of a career officer.
  • Outfit: Neatly pressed green military uniform with darker green longcoat, polished black boots, white gloves, and the Arc rainbow crescent pinned to her collar. Her Dust-infused saber hangs at her left hip. When off-duty she favors practical slacks, boots, and a simple blouse, though she still looks ready to take command of a battlefield at any moment.
  • Personality: Aggressive, no-nonsense, and ruthlessly efficient — a "Mad Dog of Vale" who despises incompetence, bureaucracy, and sentimentality in equal measure. She complains constantly about the sorry state of the VDF yet works tirelessly to fix it. With Jaune she reverts to classic sibling banter (calling him "dweeb," "brat," or "big baby" while he calls her "pipsqueak" or "tiny"), but she is fiercely protective of him and quietly proud of the man he is becoming. She is a strict but fair commander who inspires fanatical loyalty in her troops (especially Visha). Beneath the ice she still carries the Arc family's deep sense of duty and love for her siblings, even if she expresses it through sarcastic barbs and extra paperwork. She is very close to her father and respects her mother, though she and Isabel do clash on occasion on Tangy's choice of career.
  • Notes: The White Silver, the Butcher of the Balto Pass: Tangy is one of the most terrifying and effective military minds of her generation. She has already offered Jaune a captain's commission (which he politely declined). She maintains close operational ties with Winter Schnee and Atlas, yet remains deeply suspicious of over-reliance on drones and AI. Her PMC Salamander continues to operate in the shadows as a deniable asset for jobs too dirty for the official VDF. She and Visha are a terrifyingly effective duo — Tangy plans the war, Visha makes sure the logistics (and snacks) are perfect. Despite her reputation, she still finds time to visit her family.

Original Character Do Steal (Sort of): Verdy and Coral Arc, The Twin Terrors, and Lilac Arc, The Domestic Goddess New
Verdy and Coral Arc Profile (The Twin Terrors)
  • Name: Verdy Arc & Coral Arc
  • Allusion: Kururi & Mairu Orihara (Durarara!!) — chaotic, hyper-energetic, and dangerously playful twin sisters — blended with Fred & George Weasley (Harry Potter) for their love of pranks, inventions, and turning everything into an explosive good time.
  • Naming Process: Verdy is short for "verdant," referencing her signature green hair highlights and love of high-speed flight tech. Coral is named for the vibrant orange hue.
  • Age: 16
  • Background: Identical twins and the resident mad scientists of the Arc family. While most of their siblings pursued combat or medicine, Verdy and Coral threw themselves into weapons, vehicles, and experimental tech with gleeful abandon. They currently split their time between earning their college degrees by mail and working as lead engineers for Arc Armaments, Inc. and the Radian Militia. They design, build, test, and maintain everything from mechashift rifles and prototype hoverbikes to one-man flying-wing gliders and next-gen fighter avionics. Their most infamous creation, the single-seat powered glider (which isn't a glider at all), has crashed more times than Jaune cares to remember (he was their favorite test dummy).
  • Race: Human
  • Emblem: A split Arc rainbow crest: One half green (Verdy), one half orange (Coral), with crossed wrenches.
  • Weapon: "Double Trouble": A paired set of compact mechashift SMGs that can combine into a single high-output Dust cannon or separate for dual-wielding mayhem. Each twin carries one; when used together the weapons sync via their Semblance for perfect coordinated fire. Secondary: A collapsible multi-tool that shifts between wrench, plasma cutter, and short sword.
  • Semblance: Twin Synergy: When working in close proximity, the twins' Auras link, allowing them to share sensory data, coordinate movements with perfect timing, and even temporarily boost each other's physical output or technical intuition. The effect grows stronger the more chaotic or excited they become, making them terrifyingly effective in both engineering and combat, but also prone to synchronized giggles and escalating pranks.
  • Appearance: Petite and athletic with blonde hair (Verdy's is spiky with vivid green highlights; Coral's is wild and voluminous with bright orange streaks). Both have bright blue eyes that sparkle with mischief and matching cheeky grins. They are nearly indistinguishable except for hair color and the faint grease stains that always seem to appear on Coral's clothes first.
  • Outfit: Practical and chaotic: Oil-stained green coveralls (Verdy) or orange-accented jumpsuit (Coral) under open lab coats covered in pockets, tools, and half-finished gadgets. Both wear heavy work boots, fingerless gloves, and goggles pushed up into their hair. When forced into formalwear they somehow still look like they just stepped out of a workshop.
  • Personality: Hyper, playful, and dangerously inventive. They live for pranks, explosions, and "improving" things that were already working fine. They tease Jaune mercilessly ("big bro" is their favorite target) but are fiercely protective of him and deeply hurt when he left for Beacon without saying goodbye. They speak in rapid, overlapping sentences and finish each other's thoughts with eerie synchronicity. Get along very well with their mother and father. And Ruby Rose is their favorite of Jaune's friends.
  • Notes: The living embodiment of "it seemed like a good idea at the time." They once tried to mount a full Dust cannon array on a civilian hoverbike "for fire support and more speed." Jaune remains their favorite (and most frequent) test subject, though they swear they've gotten much better at not almost killing him. Their ultimate dream is to build a weapon so ridiculous that even their mother Isabel approves: A goal they admit may be impossible.
Lilac Arc Profile (The Domestic Goddess)
  • Name: Lilac Arc
  • Allusion: Belldandy (Ah! My Goddess!) — the impossibly kind, domestic, and radiantly gentle goddess who "kills with kindness" — blended with Fluttershy (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic) for her soft-spoken nature, love of animals, and hidden inner strength.
  • Naming Process: Lilac is named for the delicate purple flower symbolizing purity, serenity, and first love — perfectly capturing her gentle, almost ethereal personality and her role as the most domestic and nurturing of the Arc sisters.
  • Age: 22
  • Background: The second eldest of Jaune's older sisters and the emotional heart of the Arc family. While her siblings pursued combat, medicine, or engineering, Lilac chose to stay in Radian and manage the family farm's finances, operations, and daily life with serene efficiency. She is engaged to Mercer Sith Junior, a local mechanic and amateur racer, and dreams of a quiet life filled with children, home-cooked meals, and helping raise her future nieces and nephews. A devout member of the Tablebreaker Church, she finds deep peace in prayer, kindness, and service.
  • Race: Human
  • Emblem: Arc Crescent with a lilac flower.
  • Weapon: None carried. Lilac relies entirely on her overwhelming kindness and the occasional well-timed guilt trip to resolve conflicts.
  • Semblance: "Gentle Dominion" — Lilac's Aura radiates an aura of pure, unconditional kindness that makes almost any living creature (birds, raccoons, deer, mice, dogs, and occasionally even people) instinctively want to please her. Animals will happily perform complex tasks, clean, organize, or even attack threats on her behalf without any command. The effect is so strong that most people find themselves behaving better around her simply to avoid disappointing her. She has never weaponized it aggressively, but the potential for "killing with kindness" is very real. Of course it's entirely possible she doesn't have a Semblance and she's just that nice.
  • Appearance: Stunningly beautiful with long, silky blonde hair usually worn loose or in a simple braid, soft blue eyes that sparkle with warmth, and a gentle, almost angelic smile. She is the most supermodel-esque of the Arc sisters-tall, graceful, and effortlessly elegant even in an apron, with curves that would make a pornstar jealous.
  • Outfit: Classic domestic goddess — soft yellow sundress with a white apron, comfortable flats, and a simple lavender ribbon in her hair. She always looks like she just stepped out of a storybook illustration of the perfect homemaker.
  • Personality: Radiantly kind, endlessly patient, and almost impossibly sweet. She speaks in a soft, melodic voice and finds genuine joy in cooking, cleaning, gardening, and caring for others. She is completely oblivious to social tension or romantic complications, which leads her to cheerfully assume Jaune has multiple fiancées and offer to help raise all the babies. Beneath the sweetness lies a well-controlled dark side — she can deliver devastating guilt trips or quiet, terrifying disapproval when someone truly disappoints her. With Jaune she is openly affectionate, pinching his cheeks and calling him her "cute, kind, strong little brother." Gets on very well with pretty much everyone.
  • Notes: The living embodiment of "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all", except she somehow makes you feel guilty for even thinking the mean thing. Her visit to Beacon caused mass confusion, several existential crises, and at least one girl seriously reconsidering her life choices. She has already begun knitting baby clothes "just in case" and is eagerly looking forward to meeting all of Jaune's future in-laws. Despite (or perhaps because of) her overwhelming niceness, almost no one can bring themselves to argue with her for long.

Original Character Do Steal (Sort of): Orchid Arc and Saphron Cotta-Arc New
Orchid Arc Profile
  • Name: Orchid Arc
  • Allusion: Yuki Nagato (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) (the stoic, hyper-intelligent, deadpan alien-like observer) blended with Futaba Sakura (Persona 5), the socially awkward genius hacker who lives in dark enclosed spaces, loves computers and figurines, and communicates in blunt, monotone statements.
  • Naming Process: Orchid is named for the delicate yet resilient bright violet flower.
  • Age: 15
  • Background: The youngest of Jaune's six older sisters and the resident tech genius of the Arc family. While most of her siblings pursued combat or medicine, Orchid discovered her calling early as a prodigy with computers, data systems, and information networks. She works as the head bookkeeper and systems administrator for the Arc-En-Ciel Teaching Hospital in Radian, managing everything from patient records to supply logistics with flawless efficiency. She also runs several (mostly legal) side businesses involving information brokerage, cybersecurity consulting, and discreet data retrieval. She was instrumental in helping Jaune gain admission to Beacon through careful manipulation of his transcripts. She's very good with drones and loves Fuujin anime, Starlight Knights figurines, and yaoi.
  • Race: Human
  • Emblem: A stylized black orchid bloom with glowing circuit-like veins running through the petals, set against a faint Arc arc.
  • Weapon: Various armed drones. For physical confrontations, Orchid relies entirely on her intellect, access to digital systems, and hiding.
  • Semblance: Unknown (Aura not unlocked)
  • Appearance: Petite 15-year-old girl with shoulder-length blonde hair, large round glasses, and a perpetually stoic, almost emotionless expression. She has soft blue eyes that rarely show much beyond mild interest or faint annoyance.
  • Outfit: Signature black hoodie (often oversized), plain jeans, sneakers, and her ever-present glasses. She almost always has a small tablet or Scroll in hand.
  • Personality: Extremely deadpan, stoic, and scientifically inclined. She speaks in a flat monotone and rarely shows outward emotion, though those who know her well can detect the slightest shifts in tone or the tiniest upward twitch of her lips when she is pleased. She is incredibly shy and prefers dark, enclosed spaces (closets, server rooms, under desks) where she feels safe. Despite her antisocial tendencies she deeply loves her family and will go to extraordinary lengths to help them — even if she expresses it through blunt statements and quiet acts of service rather than hugs or words. She has a secret crush on Lie Ren and has already begun collecting "research material" (photos of him in a dress) through her usual methods of gentle blackmail and information trading.
  • Notes: The living embodiment of "I'm not antisocial, I'm just selectively social." Orchid is the reason Jaune got into Beacon, the reason the hospital's systems have never been hacked, and the reason several of his sisters suddenly receive mysteriously helpful anonymous tips. She is a massive fan of the sentai show Starlight Brigade and travels with a full collection of limited-edition figurines that she refuses to let anyone touch.
Saphron Cotta-Arc Profile
  • Name: Saphron Cotta-Arc
  • Allusion: Unknown
  • Naming Process: Saphron is a variant spelling of Saffron, the vibrant golden-orange spice and flower symbolizing warmth, joy, and domestic happiness.
  • Age: 26
  • Background: The eldest of Jaune's six older sisters and the first to leave Radian to build her own life. She moved to Argus, the bustling coastal city in northern Anima, where she met and fell in love with Terra Cotta, a skilled technician working on the Argus CCT relay system. The two married and now live together in a cozy apartment overlooking the harbor with their young son, Adrian. Saphron works as an editor at a respected local publishing house, where she helps bring new stories and voices to the people of Anima. Despite the distance, she remains deeply connected to her family in Radian and makes regular trips home, often with Adrian in tow, to visit her parents, siblings, and especially her "baby brother" Jaune. She was one of the first people Jaune called after arriving at Beacon and has been quietly proud (and occasionally teasing) of his progress ever since.
  • Race: Human
  • Emblem: A golden saffron flower blooming inside a simple silver ring (symbolizing her marriage) with a faint Arc arc behind it.
  • Weapon: None. Saphron is a civilian and has no formal combat training beyond basic self-defense taught by her family. She prefers to solve problems with words, patience, and the occasional well-timed guilt trip.
  • Semblance: Unknown (Aura not unlocked)
  • Appearance: Bright and cheerful young woman with warm blonde hair usually worn in a loose ponytail or bun, bright blue eyes, and a perpetually sunny smile. She has a soft, approachable beauty and always looks like she just stepped out of a cozy family photograph.
  • Outfit: Comfortable and practical — soft sweaters, cardigans, simple blouses, and jeans or comfortable slacks. She often wears a light scarf or shawl and keeps a small notebook in her bag for editing notes.
  • Personality: Warm, cheerful, and endlessly supportive. Saphron is the big sister who always has time to listen, offer advice, or bake cookies when someone is having a bad day. She is openly affectionate with her wife and son and loves teasing Jaune in the classic older-sister way while still being one of his biggest cheerleaders. She has a gentle but firm sense of responsibility and often acts as the emotional anchor for the entire Arc family, mediating arguments and reminding everyone to take care of themselves. Despite living far away, she stays deeply involved in her siblings' lives through frequent calls, care packages, and surprise visits.
  • Notes: The proud big sister who has "made it" and wants the same happiness for all her siblings. She and Terra are raising Adrian with all the love and stability they can give him, and Saphron has already begun gently (and not-so-gently) hinting that Jaune should settle down soon so Adrian can have cousins to play with. She remains one of the few people who can make even Isabel Arc soften her tone with a single well-placed "Mom…"

Original Character Do Steal: The Sith Family New
Mercer Sith Senior Profile
  • Name: Mercer Sith Senior
  • Allusion: Barret Wallace (Final Fantasy VII).
  • Naming Process: Mercer is an old English occupational surname meaning "merchant" or "trader," fitting the Sith family's long history as stewards and suppliers to the Arc family. The "Senior" distinguishes him from his son, Mercer Jr.
  • Age: Late 40s to early 50s
  • Background: Patriarch of the Sith family and one of the oldest and most loyal vassal houses to the Arc family. For almost a thousand years the Siths served as Dukes of Radian when the Arcs ruled the kingdom of Gallia; today they maintain a modest but proud farm directly across the road from the main Arc farmstead. Mercer runs the town garage and mechanic shop, keeping Radian's vehicles, farm equipment, and militia hardware running smoothly. A massive cat Faunus, he lost his left hand years ago to a particularly vicious Grimm attack. In its place he had a multi-function cybernetic attachment installed that can switch between a fully articulated mechanical hand and a powerful rotary gun he affectionately named "Donnybrook." He was happily married to Tabitha Reyes, another cat Faunus, until she was killed in a Grimm attack. He now raises their two children (Mercer Jr. and Katy) with help from the Arc family. Mercer was Isabel Arc's childhood best friend and once had a fierce crush on her, even coming to blows with a young Nick Arc over her. After a heartfelt confrontation the two men resolved their differences; Mercer eventually fell in love with Tabitha, while Nick and Isabel found each other. The three remained close friends for life. After Tabitha's death, Isabel and Nick helped Mercer through his grief and supported the Sith family in every way they could. Today Mercer is a proud, loud, and fiercely protective father who treats the Arc children as his own and is overjoyed that his son Mercer Jr. is engaged to Lilac Arc.
  • Race: Cat Faunus
  • Emblem: A black cat's paw print gripping a silver wrench crossed with a stylized rotary gun barrel.
  • Weapon: "Donnybrook": a heavy rotary gun that attaches to his cybernetic left arm. It fires high-caliber Dust rounds and can switch between sustained fire and explosive bursts. He also carries a massive adjustable wrench that doubles as a melee weapon.
  • Semblance: Iron Resolve: Mercer can temporarily reinforce his body and Aura to superhuman levels of durability and strength, using the iron in his blood as both armor and reinforcement. This allowes him to tank heavy hits or deliver devastating blows with his mechanical arm. The Semblance is fueled by his protective rage and love for his family; the more he has to defend, the stronger it becomes. It also uses the iron in his blood and mechanical arm. It has negative affects on his health which is why he is only an advisor with the militia.
  • Appearance: Towering, broad-shouldered, and heavily muscled cat Faunus with messy black hair, prominent black cat ears, a thick tail, and a short beard. His left arm is a gleaming chrome cybernetic prosthetic. He has amber eyes. He has a loud, booming voice and a face that looks permanently ready to scowl. until Lilac or his grandchildren are around, at which point it softens dramatically.
  • Outfit: Practical mechanic's attire — dark coveralls with the sleeves torn off to show his cybernetic arm, heavy work boots, fingerless gloves, and a leather tool belt. When on militia duty he wears reinforced green fatigues. Off-duty he favors simple black shirts, jeans, and his old leather jacket.
  • Personality: Loud, hot-blooded, and gruff with almost everyone. He complains constantly, swears like a sailor, and has a short fuse — especially when it comes to shoddy work, Grimm, or anyone threatening his family. Despite his rough exterior he has a heart of gold and will move mountains for the people he loves. Around Lilac or Katy he turns into a complete softie, speaking in a gentle rumble and doing whatever she asks without complaint. He treats Jaune like a second son and has been both a mentor and a surrogate uncle to him since childhood. He is deeply proud of Mercer Jr.'s engagement to Lilac and quietly hopes Katy will find someone equally worthy.
  • Notes: The living bridge between the ancient vassal loyalty of the Sith family and the modern Arc household. Mercer still calls Isabel "Izzy" from their childhood days and is one of the few people alive who can make her laugh with old stories. He remains close friends with both Isabel and Nick, and the three of them often share quiet drinks on the porch while reminiscing about the old days. He hates Menagerian Faunus and the White Fang.
Mercer Sith Jr. Profile
  • Name: Mercer Sith Jr.
  • Allusion: Anton from Zenless Zone Zero and a bit of Keiichi Morisato from Ah! My Goddess
  • Naming Process: Mercer is an old English occupational surname meaning "merchant" or "trader."
  • Age: 24
  • Background: The eldest son of the Sith family and Katy Sith's older brother. Mercer grew up in Radian working in his father's garage and quickly became one of the most skilled mechanics and vehicle operators in the region. He now runs regular supply convoys between Radian and nearby towns, keeping the isolated farming communities connected and supplied with everything from Dust parts to fresh produce. Though he has no Semblance, his raw driving skill, Aura-enhanced strength, and sheer stubbornness make him an invaluable asset to the Radian Militia's logistics corps. He has been engaged to Lilac Arc for several years and is widely regarded as the "big brother Jaune never had" — extremely hotblooded, rough, and quick-tempered with everyone… except Lilac, around whom he instantly turns into a soft, purring kitten.
  • Race: Cat Faunus
  • Emblem: A silver wrench crossed with a stylized black cat's paw print, set against the Arc rainbow crest (added after his engagement to Lilac)
  • Weapon: "Grease Monkey": A Dust Forged Crowbar. He also carries a bandolier of custom tools and a compact shotgun for convoy defense.
  • Semblance: None. Mercer relies entirely on raw skill, Aura-enhanced physical power, and decades of mechanical expertise. He often jokes that his "Semblance is being too stubborn to die."
  • Appearance: Tall, broad-shouldered, and powerfully built with messy blonde hair, sharp amber eyes, and the classic cat Faunus ears. His hands are often stained with grease and oil, and he usually has a faint scent of motor oil and metal around him. Despite his rough exterior he cleans up surprisingly well for Lilac.
  • Outfit: Practical mechanic's attire: Dark blue coveralls with the sleeves rolled up, heavy work boots, fingerless gloves, baseball cap and a leather tool belt. When off-duty or visiting Lilac he wears a simple black shirt, jeans, and a worn leather jacket. His militia uniform is a reinforced version of the standard Radian green with extra pockets for tools. A lot of his shirts have "Mercer" or "M1" on them.
  • Personality: Hot-blooded, optimistic, and rough around the edges. He swears like a sailor, and has a short fuse: Especially when dealing with bureaucracy, shoddy engineering, or anyone who threatens his family or convoy. Around Lilac, however, he melts completely, becoming soft-spoken, gentle, and almost embarrassingly affectionate (much to Jaune's endless amusement). He has taken Jaune under his wing since the boy was small, acting as the tough-love big brother. Deeply loyal and protective, he would walk through fire for the people he loves: He just prefers to complain about it the entire way. He did threaten to beat up Jaune if he broke Katy's heart, something she's tried to discourage him from doing. He is quietly terrified of Isabel Arc's disapproval, and gets along great with Nick. Like his father, he hates Menagerian Faunus and the White Fang.
Katy Sith Profile
  • Name: Katy Sith
  • Allusion: Aisha Clan-Clan from Outlaw Star, Leone from Akame ga Kill!
  • Naming Process: Katy is a diminutive of Katherine, meaning "pure", and an allusion to Cait Sith, the Celtic Cat spirit.
  • Age: 17–18
  • Background: The only daughter of Mercer Sith Senior and the late Tabitha Reyes, and younger sister of Mercer Sith Jr. Katy grew up on the small Sith farm directly across the road from the main Arc homestead. She and Jaune were childhood best friends who eventually became each other's first boyfriend and girlfriend. Katy was deeply in love with the idea of a quiet, happy farmhouse life-raising children, tending the land, and supporting her husband-and she genuinely believed Jaune would be happiest following in his mother Isabel's footsteps as a doctor. She encouraged him to stay in Radian, obey his mother, and give up his dangerous Huntsman dreams. Jaune's desire to become a Huntsman was too strong, however, and the two argued bitterly for months before finally breaking up. Heartbroken but determined to find her own path, Katy left Radian shortly afterward to attend school in Atlas, hoping distance and new experiences would help her figure out who she wanted to be outside of the life she had always imagined with Jaune.
  • Race: Cat Faunus
  • Emblem: A stylized black cat silhouette curled around a simple golden wheat stalk with a small Arc rainbow arc at the base.
  • Weapon: "Harvest Moon" — A shotgun. She trained with it under her father's supervision and is surprisingly skilled in combat despite her preference for a peaceful life.
  • Semblance: Unknown (Aura not unlocked)
  • Appearance: Tall, busty, and strong, with sun-kissed skin, long blonde hair usually tied back in a practical ponytail, and striking amber eyes. She carries herself with confident, tomboyish energy but has a surprisingly soft and gentle smile when she lets her guard down.
  • Outfit: Practical farm girl attire — sturdy boots, well-worn jeans, overalls, or denim shorts, tank tops or simple blouses, and a red bandana or headband. When visiting the Arc farm she often "borrows" one of Jaune's old hoodies. Formal dress includes a tight red dress, pumps, and her hair in an artful ponytail.
  • Personality: Hot-blooded, outspoken, and a little tsundere. She speaks her mind loudly and isn't afraid to argue (especially with Jaune), but she has a big heart and genuinely wants the people she loves to be happy — even if she sometimes goes about it the wrong way. Deep down she is romantic and dreams of a simple, loving domestic life, but she is also proud and refuses to be anyone's "shadow." The breakup with Jaune left her hurt and confused about what she truly wants, which is why she chose to leave Radian and attend school in Atlas — to discover who Katy Sith is outside of the life she always imagined with him.
  • Notes: Jaune's first love and one of the people who shaped his decision to leave Radian. Their breakup was painful for both of them, but Katy ultimately respected his choice even while disagreeing with it. She remains close with the entire Arc family (especially Lilac and the twins) and still visits Radian during holidays. At Atlas she is studying agriculture and logistics, quietly trying to build a future that feels like her own. She has not yet decided whether she will return to Radian permanently or carve out a new path in the wider world. Deep down she still cares for Jaune a great deal and worries about him constantly at Beacon — though she would rather die than admit it out loud.

Original Character Do Steal (Sort of): Father Alexander Arc, The Paladin of Knives New
iu

  • Name: Alexander Pierre Arc
  • Allusion: Alexander Anderson from Hellsing
  • Naming Process: Alexander is of Greek origin, meaning "defender of the people," perfectly suiting a flamboyant paladin-priest who violently protects the innocent. Pierre is a French masculine name meaning "stone" or "rock." It is derived from the Greek name Petros, which also means "stone," and is associated with Saint Peter, one of the apostles of Jesus, and was the name of one of Joan of Arc's brothers who fought alongside her.
  • Age: Early 40s
  • Background: Alexander was ten years old when his parents, Jonathan and Elizabeth Arc, were killed in a Grimm attack on their caravan while traveling to Radian. His older sister Isabel, then eleven, chose to become a combat medic Huntress to support the family. Alexander and his other siblings found their own paths. Drawn to the Tablebreaker Church's message of righteous upheaval against evil, Alexander joined as a young paladin-priest and rose rapidly through its ranks. He now serves in Section XIII, the Church's elite strike force that operates alongside licensed Huntsmen to eliminate particularly dangerous Grimm, bandit strongholds, and other existential threats to the innocent. Between missions he runs a large orphanage in Lutetia, the capital of Gallia (a sub-kingdom of Vale), and conducts missionary work across the countryside. He has a reputation for brutally subduing bandit groups and criminals, then offering them redemption through faith—many have converted after being thoroughly beaten. He maintains close ties with his family, frequently bickering with his siblings over theology and lifestyle choices while remaining deeply loyal and affectionate toward them, especially his nephew Jaune and nieces.
  • Race: Human
  • Emblem: A silver X-cross shattered by a rising blade, with light radiating from the fracture—symbolizing the breaking of the Stone Table and the defense of the faithful.
  • Weapon: Carries dozens of blessed bayonets and throwing knives of varying sizes, all consecrated by the Tablebreaker Church. His preferred fighting style involves flooding the battlefield with thrown and telekinetically controlled blades. He also wields two large, blessed combat knifes as primary melee weapons when closing distance, called "Mercy" and "Charity", forged by his grandfather Shirou.
  • Semblance: "Echoed Armory" - Similar to his grandfather's "Unlimited Blade Works."
    • Alexander can analyze any weapon he sees and instantly project multiple copies of it at roughly 20% of the original's strength and durability. He most commonly replicates his own bayonets and daggers, which he can control in flight with precise telekinetic guidance. The copies are temporary and dissolve after use or when his Aura is depleted, but the sheer volume he can deploy makes him a terrifying presence on the battlefield.
  • Appearance: Tall and broad-shouldered with the classic Arc family blonde hair (kept short and neat) and bright blue eyes. He sports a perpetual five o'clock shadow and wears thin, round glasses that give him a scholarly air when at rest. His most striking feature is his wide, almost manic grin when fighting—sharp and unsettling—contrasted by the gentle, warm smile he shows children and those in need.
  • Outfit: Standard Tablebreaker priest's frock in deep charcoal with white clerical collar and accents, worn over reinforced combat armor. He always wears pristine white gloves and carries a large silver X-cross pendant. In the field he dons a long, dark coat over the frock for additional protection and to conceal extra blades.
  • Personality: Flamboyant and theatrical in battle, Alexander fights with joyful, almost ecstatic violence, laughing and quoting scripture as he floods the field with blades. Outside of combat he is a kind, patient, and deeply compassionate priest who adores children and runs his orphanage with genuine warmth. He is quick to anger when the innocent are threatened, yet equally quick to offer mercy and redemption to those who surrender. He frequently argues theology and life choices with his siblings (especially Isabel), but these spats are rooted in genuine love and concern. He is fiercely protective of his family and holds a particular soft spot for his nephew Jaune.
  • Notes: Alexander serves as one of the Tablebreaker Church's most effective field operatives in Section XIII, often coordinating with licensed Huntsmen teams. He maintains a deeply antagonistic relationship with Alucard, the Bat Faunus operative of the Albion-based Hellsing organization, though he makes a conscious effort to remain civil with his cousin Seras Victoria at the request of their grandmother Arturia. Despite his violent methods, Alexander genuinely believes in redemption and has successfully turned several former bandits and criminals into productive members of society. He views his work as both holy war and pastoral duty—protecting the flock by any means necessary while still offering salvation to the lost.

Original Character Do Steal (Sort of): Irene Arc, Dame Blanche New
__irina_jelavic_ansatsu_kyoushitsu_drawn_by_iwao__sample-d837beba1d2f68690ba65cb61d55e636.jpg

  • Name: Irene Catherine Arc
  • Allusion: Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow), Irina Jelavić from Assassination Classroom, Catherine (sister of Joan of Arc)
  • Naming Process: Irene is of Greek origin, meaning "peace," a deliberate irony for a woman whose life has been defined by violence and who now fights to protect the innocent.
  • Age: Late Thirties
  • Background: Irene was only eight when her parents, Jonathan and Elizabeth Arc, were killed in a Grimm attack on their caravan. While her older siblings pursued dangerous careers to support the family, young Irene helped raise her infant brother Trey and discovered a gift for the piano, performing publicly to earn extra money. At fifteen she was accepted into the prestigious Miss Zelen Preparatory Academy for Young Ladies in Lutetia on money provided by Arturia, Isabel, Brand, and Alexander. The academy was secretly a recruitment and training ground for the Velvet Glove, a Spider-aligned spy and assassin network. Headmistress Juliana Zelen used her Semblance to brainwash Irene, transforming the gentle pianist into a cold, highly trained operative skilled in seduction, martial arts, infiltration, sabotage, demolition, firearms, and interrogation. Her Aura was unlocked and her Semblance, Fortissimo, made her lethally effective. At twenty, the Arc family—led by Arturia using government favors—launched a daring raid with Isabel, Nick, Arjun, Saia, Brand, Alexander, and Shirou to rescue her and destroy the academy. Most of the staff were captured; the remaining network was left to law enforcement. Irene recovered slowly but refused to return to a quiet life. She joined Vale's Foreign Intelligence Agency to ensure no other child would suffer what she had. She operates under the cover of a traveling Vytalian and music teacher, code named "Dame Blanche" or "White Lady". Her family tried to dissuade her, fearing for her safety and soul, but she insisted—creating ongoing tension even as they remain fiercely loyal to one another. She has carried out numerous black operations for Ozpin's inner circle and has partnered extensively with Qrow Branwen. Their relationship is intensely flirtatious and built on absolute trust, yet both are too scarred to commit fully; they are "not together, but not together-together." To her nephew Jaune she is simply "Aunt Irene"—kind, elegant, and occasionally terrifying in ways he cannot quite explain.
  • Race: Human
  • Emblem: A black cross encased in a double circle-It is meant to evoke the Arc rainbow crest but when seen from a different angle.
  • Weapon: Irene carries no named weapons; she has little sentimentality for such things. Her arsenal is mission-specific and includes suppressed pistols, garrote wires, combat knives, sniper rifles, flashbang and fragmentation grenades, electrified stun batons, and any improvised tools the situation demands. She treats every weapon as disposable and interchangeable.
  • Semblance: "Fortissimo"
    • Irene can precisely control the volume and intensity of any sound she produces or that occurs within a short radius of her body. She can render herself and her movements completely silent for perfect stealth, amplify a whisper into a concussive sonic blast, or turn a single footstep into an ear-shattering explosion capable of disorienting or injuring targets at close range. The Semblance has a short effective radius but is devastating when combined with her training.
  • Appearance: Curvy but athletic and graceful with the classic Arc blonde hair worn in a practical yet elegant ponytail and striking blue eyes that can shift from warm kindness to icy calculation in an instant. She moves with the poised, predatory elegance of a dancer.
  • Outfit: In her civilian cover she wears modest but stylish teacher's attire—blouses, pencil skirts, and cardigans that hide hidden holsters and tools. On missions she favors sleek black or white tactical bodysuits or elegant evening gowns that conceal weapons and allow full range of motion.
  • Personality: Warm and affectionate with family, especially her nieces and nephew Jaune, Irene radiates quiet maternal energy when off-duty. In the field she is cool, professional, and ruthlessly efficient, with a dry, flirtatious wit that surfaces most strongly around Qrow. She carries deep trauma but channels it into fierce protectiveness; she will not allow another generation to be stolen as she was. She is pragmatic to the point of cynicism yet retains a hidden core of idealism that keeps her fighting.
  • Notes: Irene is one of Vale's most valuable deep-cover assets, having dismantled multiple Velvet Glove cells and other terrorist networks. Her partnership with Qrow is legendary within certain circles—deadly effective yet emotionally complicated. She remains a point of gentle contention within the Arc family, who worry she is still punishing herself for what was done to her, but they support her without hesitation. To the wider world she is simply a traveling teacher with a beautiful smile and a hidden past of steel and silence.
