[RWBY] RWBY Shorts

Blake: "Is...is that...a cowkini?! FOX EARS?! THAT'S RACIST!"
Pyrrha: *bright red in a cowboy vest and hat, daisy dukes and a fox tail*
Nora: *shamelessly a cow-girl* "That's cute; we're still making enough to buy every limited edition run of your smut with just our pocket change."
When I read this I could only think of all exept Jaune wearing both a cowkini and fox ears and tail, and the combination and colors don't work together at all.

A slight tweak to the idea: Jaune wants to help the local orphanage he volunteers at, St. Lucy's. The matron of the orphanage suggested a kissing booth at a local church festival. Jaune then texts the situation and asks for help... So plenty of girls show up to kiss Jaune-I mean help out those orphans!

I am now getting reminded of a ZZZ fic where Wise did that at his and his sister's video store. Cue nearly all of the female characters showing up just to kiss him.

Well one thing's for sure: Those orphans will be eating well for a long time.
Especially if some come back for a second round.

Pyrrha walks away and darts into a nearby hotel to change into a 'disguise.' Which consists of a summer dress, wide brimmed hat, sunglasses, and a little lipstick. She frequently does that to get as many kisses as she can. A hallway down, Weiss Schnee is doing the same while taking pictures on her scroll.

Yang just walks back into line and has them beat when it comes to kisses. Ruby is being carried via a leash and harness because she nearly went 'Starved Succubus' on Jaune. Blake is just watching and trying to find someway to both be upset about the entire thing while wanting to join in.

Weiss's understanding of the world is thoroughly shaken when Winter pays up.

Winter: "Some people like cats, Weiss. Personally, I was always more fond of golden retrievers."
Blake: *eyes narrowing* "That sounds racist."

Had this rather funny idea.

Jaune Arc was a perfectionist. He always finished books and comics after he started them even if he hated them, same with movies. He 100% completed every game he ever played.

So many people would find it odd that he apparently didn't train before Beacon.

Except he did. He managed to get a lesson from his father a simple slash. The basic of basics.

"When you've perfected that come back and I'll show you something else."

Of course Nick was planning to say Jaune didn't perfect the slash so he would have a excuse to stall jaunes training. But Jaune never came back.

Nick assumed Jaune gave up.

He didn't.

Every day he would practice the slash finding a new flaw that kept it from being PERFECT. So he kept at it. A week, a month, a decade all devoted to that single slash.

He didn't learn any forms or stances. He was hilarious undertrained and uninformed. But he kept that slash in his back pocket, it was the one thing he was halfway decent at so he was saving it for the best time.

The best time ended up being when Beacon was on fire and his (maybe?) girlfriend was on her way to fight a magical psychopath.

So Jaune planted his feet, tensed his muscles and swung his sword.

And reality screamed.

Jaune has fine tuned his entire body for this one slash and adding aura to his body pushed things even further.

The sword swung perfectly and moved so quickly that it almost appeared like a metallic rainbow had appeared above jaunes head, the sword moving so fast it left trails of afterimages.

Aura had sharpened and focused the edge of the blade that the air slash from his swing was severing atomic bonds.

So it was no wonder that the Grimm wyvern split down the middle (along with beacon tower, beacon academy, sixteen miles of Forrest and a secret hideout where Torchwick kept the emergency funds he didn't want neo to blow on ice cream).

It was a amazing feat. Like something out of a heroic epic or a movie. But to Jaune....

"Damn still not perfect."

His swing went a millimeter too far.

More practice is needed.

Why Ruby was Safe in Patch
rwby-x-phineas-and-ferb-by-zyptoskid-zwei-the-corgi-v0-ahjdvk3eng5f1.jpg

Does this fit Coco and who else?

nedrgbt8gf5f1.jpeg

Ideas:

- Jaune is a Faunus with his animal traits being human (Like the Hito Hito no Mi of Chopper and Sengoku from One Piece).

- Winter is a soldier, a Winter Soldier if you will, so what if Winter underwent a Winter Soldier plotline where she's captured by some enemy force, turned brainwashed super-assassin, and now has to be freed from that by one or multiple of her friends or family?
Might be a fun plotline for Weiss, Whitley and he rest of the gang.

Character ideas:

- An old goat Faunus named Japeth is an enemy of Salem and she tried to curce him but his Semblance altered the intention, so now he's forced to sing everything he says instead and has a seemingly endless amount of horn weapons and gadgets.

- A frog Faunus spy who's trait is that he has poisonous dartfrog skin.
Because of how dangerous his skin is he always wears gloves, uses a pair of pistols that can turn into knives (a bit similar to Ren's StormFlower but smaller, the blades are in regular hand direction and they're non-automatic), but they can also be combined into 1 bigger sniper-rifle if needed.
He uses those weapons mostly when he's trying to fight non-lethally or defencively, but when he goes in for lethal force he fights bare handed and takes of his gloves (a literal case of the gloves are off).

Original Character, Do Steal: General Jinjur Hardy New
  • Name: Jinjur Hardy
  • Allusion: General Jinjur, The Marvelous Land of Oz
  • Naming Process: Ginger refers to a spice, from Old English ginȝifer, ginȝiber, from Late Latin gingiber, from Latin zingiberi, from Greek zingiberis, from Prakrit (Middle Indic) singabera, from Sanskrit srngaveram, from srngam "horn" + vera- "body," so called from the shape of its root. But this may be Sanskrit folk etymology, and the word may be from an ancient Dravidian word that also produced the modern name for the spice, inchi-ver (inchi "ginger", ver "root"). Hardy: Old German element hart meaning "hard, firm, brave, hardy".
  • Age: Late 30s/Early 40s
  • Background: The Hardy family is an ancient and noble family, tracing their roots all the way back to the founding of Mantle. While no longer among the richest, they are still elites and have a storied lineage of politicians, soldiers, and heroes. Jinjur Hardy is the first daughter of the current family head, Fredrick, and has had a meteoritic rise in the Atlasian Military. Graduating first in her class from the Atlasian Military Academy, she excelled in politicking and delegation, having a knack for finding competent people to solve problems. She had no shortage of confidence and began to rise by making excellent connections and taking on challenging assignments. Her combat abilities were also very impressive, combined with her unusual Semblance. However, underneath all this lay a dark side: A century ago, the Hardy family had supposed the coup against the Mantle Government, an act that led to the Great War. The Hardys and other older Atlasian families felt it was their destiny to rule over Remnant, and create a mighty empire that would last a thousand years. The 1K Society thus made it their mission to push Atlas back on the path to imperialism for the good of mankind and Faunus, and Hardy was fully onboard. Her ambition was nothing short of becoming the next sole ruler of Atlas, and then Remnant as its protector. Her ambition and skill led her to becoming the youngest General in Atlasian history. Her aggressive style and emphasis on pushing Atlas' agenda, however, has made her a number of political enemies: General James Ironwood among them. While professional enough to work together on operations, Jinjur's domineering personality caused a great deal of conflict between the two. Jinjur thus sees James Ironwood as an obstacle on the way to her destiny. And she will find a way to remove all such obstacles.
  • Race: Human
  • Emblem: Twin Needles
  • Weapon: "Singer" - A needle gun. She also uses individual needles as projectile or melee weapons, infused with Dust or Aura to strengthen them.
  • Semblance: "Voodoo"
    • Jinjur is able to inflict various status effects on enemies she can hit with an item she has infused with her Aura-In this case, she mainly relies on needles to pierce their flesh and establish a stronger connection. This ranges from causing intense pain, paralysis, or taking control of their bodily functions. Or hitting vital areas to cause maximum damage.. She must overpower the will of a victim and can only control one person fully at a time-Groups of people she can only inflict pain or other status effects. She can even take over Grimm briefly, but again, only one at a time and it's temporary. The larger the Aura charge she can put into a needle, the longer the effect can last. She can make the effect last longer if the needle is connected to her by a silken thread to conduct Aura through, though this has many disadvantages.
  • Appearance: Beautiful redhead woman of slightly below average height with severe freckles over her cheeks, brown eyes, hair is short and curly. Graceful and athletic in appearance-Slimmer than Pyrrha, built more like Weiss but taller.
  • Outfit: Standard Atlasian military uniform, with the exception of a long skirt instead of pants, a red cape, and a tall shako hat. Her rank allows her these modifications. She has her Singer gun at her side and knitting needles all over her uniform, ready to be used at any times.
  • Personality: While outwardly charming and charismatic, as well as a competent manager and tactical thinker, inside Jinjur is self obsessed and narcissistic. She is intelligent but overly prideful, often holding grudges in private while outwardly being kind and understanding. She is an accomplished schemer and politically minded, with a ruthlessness born of her heritage and ambition. She has a few true friends and companions on her journey to become ruler of Atlas, but is prone to paranoia and mistrust. Devious and never to be underestimated or fully trusted.
  • Notes: I felt Ironwood's villain arc was poorly done and as a result, I took another Wizard of Oz character for inspiration for a General Ripper. We've already seen that crazy midget with the giant robot in Argus, why not another vainglorious Atlasian military officer to be an actual villain? Unlike, say, Jacques Schnee, Jinjur would not be a direct agent of Salem. Watts would just manipulate her into following her worst impulses and becoming a villain, a useful idiot. And after Vytal, she would be the kind of person who would politick to replace Ironwood as Supreme Commander of Atlas' military forces. Thus, you have Ironwood demoted and having to work with RWBY and JNOR against the Mad General.

I can see this happening. And of course Blake goes off about how the two are dressed is racist. I bet if she was doing it, everything would be perfectly fine...

Anyone thought about a scenario where Blake's parents show up at Beacon a week after Initiation? And instead of being not just happy but also deciding to work on uniting Faunus and Humanity the proper way by teaching what they know. All of which is counter to what Blake believes but her parents have actual proof as well as being actually respected historians, sociologists, and scholars in general.

They had to give up that life when Ghira had to take up the Chieftain Position for Menagerie but they kept up to date.

Ghira invites Blake up to explain history, and gets an unpleasant shock.

Blake: "...and that's when the Schnee Nation attacked!"
Ghira: "...Sweetie, I love you, but what the fuck was that?"

You know, it might be interesting if Ren was trained by Yixuan Shifu from Zenless Zone Zero. She is insanely powerful, deadly, and badass. She's also very kind, easy going, and wise. She would have been very kind to Nora as well and she would be very happy to see them both. She would see Ren and Nora like her children.

However... You know how Jaune's rizz works around MILFs. And Yixuan is definitely MILF material:

I still find it hilarious that a certain section of the FNDM keep saying that RWBY would improve if they took Jaune out of it, when it was confirmed (time and again) that there wouldn't be a Team RWBY OR a Team _NPR without Jaune.

Ruby would have spent her Beacon Days alone and friendless with only Yang as her company and then died in her continental trek to Haven.

Weiss would have died in battle without Jaune there to save her.

Yang would have completely shut down due to: (a) losing her arm, (b) being abandoned by Blake, (c) losing Ruby shortly after (reminder: Ruby is both her younger sister, one she raised as like pseudo-daughter as well. This alone would shatter her), (d) losing Weiss.

Blake would be even more wracked with guilt upon realizing that, in her endeavour to keep her teammates safe from her mistakes, she practically abandoned them to their deaths. With her own former partner now being nothing more than a shell of a person.

Pyrrha would have completely ceased to exist; since she had no reason to hesitate accepting the Maiden Power. Not that it mattered, Hazel and Tyrian both took her down without issue.

Nora and Ren just decided to return to Kuroyuri, since their Team was pretty much all but discontinued: only to return to the Nuckelavee and die to it.

Jaune, meanwhile would be back on his home: unhappy but safe. Unaware that him not going to Beacon changed the fates of many for the worse.

And not only is he essential to their survival, aside from poor Pyrrha, he also turned out to be the most famous Huntsmen in existence, the Rusted Knight.

The Jaune train truly has no brakes.

There are some friends that you live as a person but dread interacting with in public.

Nora was one such friend for Weiss.

So when she heard the loud girl yelling for her across the cafeteria she braced herself for the incoming headache.

"Weiss you know lots about dust riiiight?"

"I'm not helping you make better bombs."

"I don't want that, well I don't want that right now, nah I got some new weird dust types, crystal and powder and I want you to tell me what they are."

Sigh. Ok it could definitely be worse.

"Alright show me."

Thunk

Weiss stared at the substances on the table.

"Nora. This isn't dust."

"Huh? Then what is it?"

"I have a better question, where the hell did you get crystal meth and cocaine in a school?!"

"Dr.Oblek dropped em! I was gonna give em back but he zippied off before I could."

"Somehow that makes far too much sense. Well we better dispose of these."

"We just throw them in the trash?"

"What? No. We put them in team CRDL's lockers and call Goodwitch."

...yo.

They're assholes, but they don't deserve to have their lives ruined like that, man.
My viewpoint is that in a death world people are a bit laxer with the stuff.

Add in increased healing and resistance from aura and while it IS bad being caught with it it's more "two months of detention and no weekend visits to the city" than ruin their lives.

this feels familiar, excuses me for a moment.

i have return!! traumatized and mostly unharmed.
A Farmer Or Something: Jaune didn't have to become a Hero, or even a Hunter. Not really. He could always have been a farmer or something. Pyrrha though... (Now with the multi-part Part Two: Oum Made a Farmer. Complete.)

Hard disagree.

If CRDL are willing to pull the shit that they do against their comrades-in-arms now - assault, blackmail, sabotage, the attempted attack on Pyrrha with Rapier Wasps while they were out in the field and exposed to potential Grimm attack - how much worse would they get after graduation?

Nah. Better to nip that shit in the bud with extreme prejudice. They should feel lucky that Shounen logic dictated that RWBYJNPR were too stupidnice to dump their asses out in the Emerald Forest hog-tied and slathered in honey after Forever Fall.

......I'll be completely honest; this is the first time I even heard of this fic.

So I guess, I'm not the only who realized just how grimdark "RWBY without Jaune" would actually be...? Good to know.
