[RWBY] RWBY Shorts

Given that summer has just begun, I have a relevant writing prompt: What do you think that the ideal summer vacation is for teams RWBY and JNPR?
Depends on how out there we can make it. I want to say either group will end up having a nice relaxing summer while the other ends up in an Indiana Jones-like adventure. Because of how Jaune-centric this thread is, I say let Team JNPR be the ones who go on the adventure. Maybe Pyrrha gets kidnapped by a bunch of Mistral cultists who want to revive an ancient Mummy Warlord, and she is the reincarnation of his wife?
Edit: To add to this, what if she was actually in love with Jaune's former life, who was the Warlord's top champion? Nora and Ren were also there as the Leg Breaker and Chief Spy.

Team JNPR accidentally become pirates, Jaune fights off horny mermaids, Nora tames a kraken, Pyrrha wrestles a sea goddess and wins, Ren somehow becomes the most dreaded pirate on the seven seas, and Team RWBY blow up a warehouse and some Atlesian mechs because of the White Fang.

Ruby: "...and that's why we're banned from the beach! What were you guys doing?"
Jaune, sitting on a huge treasure chest and feeding a parrot: "Arrrr, that be the question of the century!"

Jaune: To be completely honest it started with us visiting one of my uncles, and then escalated beyond that and just kept escalating. Also, Ren and Nora are banned from ever entering Atlsian waters for the next three hundred years, Pyrrha has a new Cult dedicated to her-
Pyrrha, speaking up with a tranquil smile of Doom: I slapped a Bitch.
Jaune: Yes, you did, Pyrrha, and I may be the new king of an ancient kingdom under the waves. That or I'm now King of all the Oceans on Remnant? The ceremony wasn't very clear, and everything was confusing after Nora tamed Timmy.
Ruby: Timmy?
Nora in Vale's Port atop Timmy the Kraken: I am the Queen of the Krakens! Bow before me and bring me Pancakes!

it's always jaune's uncle, and it's getting a bit stale.
less mix it up a bit and make it a cousin of Pyrrha instead.

Jaune

No its pyrrha cousin they meet afterwards who wants to investigate strange signals, where they end up having to duel aliens in a volcano and ren becomes the king consort of a alien race.
Nora is still mad at ren for agreeing to that and that she has to be the second royal consort.
Jaune is still weirded out he had to pilot a combining mech with his co pilots being Pyrrha, cinder, mercury and emerald. (Cinder finally decides to open the will of Rhodes and realize he ended up leaving property to her so while they grabbed the two, and visited they got swept up in the adventure) now jaune has to stop Pyrrha and Cinder from fighting as they are acting werid towards him

A few more ideas:

-Yes it's true that a girl doesn't need a romantic interest in Jaune to train him, just to be a friend. Yang, Ruby, Pyrrha, Blake, hell even Weiss might help him if he proved himself. So that's fine. But it can be fun if they do develop an interest in him.

-Yang as a tsundere towards Jaune would be more like Nagatoro than many other traditional tsunderes, I think. She teases him a lot but gets rather possessive over him. And doesn't take kindly to people talking shit about him-That's her job!

-RWBY and Nora and Pyrrha expect Ren, Jaune, Cardin and Sun's Guys Night Out to be super boring. It is the exact opposite of boring.

-Jaune is assigned to help in the Beacon Infirmary due to his medical training. He's actually really good at healing and helping... Which depresses him because he thinks his mother was right. His friends help him find his way again.

-Ruby during one of their vigilante outings nearly gets a civilian killed. She's wracked with guilt over it and even considers quitting Beacon entirely. How do her friends help her?

*Team RWBY eavesdrop on Ozpin and Ruby*

Ozpin: "Everyone makes mistakes, Miss Rose. Why, Miss Belladonna has killed more civilians and noncombatants through inaction and willful blindness than twenty of you could through deliberate malice-"
Blake: *horrified whisper* "What?"
Ozpin: "And Miss Xiao-Long...well, let's just say that incident in the nightclub wasn't quite so cut and dry as a simple brawl..."
Yang: *claps hand to her mouth in horror*
Ozpin: "And Miss Schnee's semblance is literally necromancy. Why, if those Grimm could talk they'd no doubt be pleading for the clemency of true death and I shudder to think about what would happen if she killed another human being."
Weiss: *turns paler than usual*
Ozpin: "I haven't even mentioned Summer "You can't spend 'slaughter' without 'laughter'" Rose or Raven 'Butcher of Mistral' Branwen."

Original Character Do Steal (Sort of): Phillip Graves, CEO of Shadow Company New
Phillip Graves / Phillip Arc Profile

  • Name: Phillip Graves (legal name Phillip Arc)
  • Allusion: Phillip Graves from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II/III — the charismatic, ruthless, and highly competent PMC commander who blends Southern charm with cold pragmatism.
  • Naming Process: Phillip is a Greek name meaning "lover of horses," traditionally associated with leadership and military command. Graves evokes both the solemnity of death and the graves of past conflicts. He uses "Graves" professionally to distance his PMC work from the Arc family name, though he proudly acknowledges his Arc heritage when among family.
  • Age: Early-to-mid 30s
  • Background: Phillip is the son of an estranged branch of the Arc family. His father abandoned him and his mother, Rosaline, when he was young. At age nine, Rosaline was killed in the same mountain Grimm attack that claimed Jonathan and Elizabeth Arc. From that day forward, Isabel treated him as one of her own little brothers. Nana Arturia and Papa Shirou helped raise him alongside Isabel's siblings. He enlisted in the Valean Defense Force at 15, rising rapidly through the ranks until he joined the elite Partisans special forces unit. During a mission ordered by Supreme Commander General Sir Aldric Varnholt, his team was captured by White Fang terrorists. Defying orders, Graves single-handedly rescued them, earning a severe reprimand. Later, during the Fall of Mount Glenn, he personally detonated the explosives that sealed the main tunnel. Disillusioned with Vale's leadership and bureaucracy, he left the military and founded Shadow Company, a powerful private military company specializing in troop, air, and maritime deployment. Shadow Company employs many former special operations personnel from across Remnant. Graves remains close to his cousins, particularly respecting Isabel for helping him enter the military. He has a strong working relationship with Tangy Arc (helping her establish Salamander) and is on good terms with Jaune, often giving him blunt but valuable advice.
  • Race: Human
  • Emblem: A stylized card spade with a chess rook held inside.
  • Weapon: "Reaper's Due" — A custom bullpup assault rifle with multiple Dust configurations. He also carries a sidearm and combat knife. In close quarters he favors brutal efficiency over flashy technique.
  • Semblance: "Bullet Time" — Graves can drastically speed up his perception of time, allowing him to see the battlefield in slow motion and make split-second tactical decisions. This makes him an terrifyingly accurate shot and an elite battlefield commander. It does require a lot of adrenaline to trigger it.
  • Appearance: Tall, athletic, and broad-shouldered with short-cropped dirty blonde hair, sharp blue eyes, and a perpetual five-o'clock shadow. He has a thin scar over his left cheekbone. He carries himself with the confident swagger of a man who has seen (and survived) the worst Remnant has to offer.
  • Outfit: Tactical operator gear — dark tactical vest over a compression shirt, combat pants, heavy boots, and black gloves. He often wears a Shadow Company patch on his shoulder and a dark ball cap. When visiting family he dresses more casually but still looks ready for war at a moment's notice.
  • Personality: Charismatic, pragmatic, and ruthlessly efficient. He has a rural-tinged drawl from his time in the military and a dry sense of humor that can shift from charming to ice-cold in an instant. He genuinely wants to protect the innocent but believes the ends often justify extreme means. He respects Isabel and the rest of the Arc family deeply, though their relationship can become strained when Isabel criticizes the moral gray areas of Shadow Company's operations. He is protective of his cousins and sees Jaune as someone with great potential who needs a dose of harsh reality to survive.
  • Notes: Supreme Commander of Shadow Company, a highly professional and well-equipped PMC with over 10,000 personnel, advanced air assets (including the rare AC-150 gunships), and multiple hidden bases. Shadow Company was instrumental in supporting Vale's defense reforms during the lead-up to the Vytal Festival and has worked closely with Tangy Arc's Salamander. While Graves is willing to do dirty work that regular militaries or Hunters won't touch, he still draws a line at harming innocents and has personally rescued several Arc family members in the past (including helping save Irene from the Velvet Glove). He maintains a complicated but ultimately loyal relationship with the wider Arc family — they are one of the few groups he truly trusts. He hates the White Fang but is willing to give ex-members like Blake a chance-Mainly thanks to Jaune's intervention.
