Safe For Work Worm Ideas thread

The World Eater

Scrub stepped closer to Labyrinth's tower, and one of his explosions ripped through the air. Another followed shortly after, intersecting one area of altered road.

Like a gas in the air that had been ignited, the entire thing went up in a heartbeat. In an instant, it was a white void, as undefinable as Grue's darkness, perceivable by the edges, but with zero depth or dimension. He'd shunted out the entire structure, as well as everything that had altered on the ground, but nothing had come back.
The door had been kicked out of the frame.

To look at it, I'd almost expected a rush of wind as the void on the other side sucked everything into it, like the vacuum of space. There was only the sensation of a breeze as the air flowed into it.
Alexandria landed next to us, with enough force that I nearly lost my footing. Every set of eyes that wasn't on Echidna was on us, now.

"What did you do?"

"Made a hole," Tattletale said.

"Apparently. You didn't ask? You didn't consider the ramifications of this? Close it now."

"Who said we could close it?" Tattletale asked.

"You're a fool," Alexandria said. She set one hand around Tattletale's neck. She could have killed Tattletale with a squeeze, but she didn't. A threat.

A cape stepped closer, from the look on his face most likely to admonish Alexandria. His words aborted though as Tattletale's eyes widened in surprise. She jerked her head, as far as Alexandria's grip allowed, towards the newly made door. I turned as well, prepared either to fight or dodge what could have caused such a reaction. There was no apparent cause, the area looking no different to my eyes. For a moment I thought it was simply a ploy by Lisa to buy time or distract her harasser before a gauntletted hand burst out from the emptiness.

I couldn't see what it was attached to as the arm simply disappeared upon what I assumed was the edge of the effect. It grasped onto something that wasn't visible in an anchoring grip as another red clad hand emerged. There was a stillness before a person broke through, with great effort hauling herself out of the void until it was able to stand outside of it.

I stared. A cape?

No, while her outfit was odd it didn't appear to be a costume. At least not by the aesthetics you were used to, lacking even a mask and exposing her face and unnaturally bright red hair.

Well not just her face.

The only piece of clothing on her torso was a red leather bikini top. Her stomach and chest otherwise exposing generous amounts of creamy white skin. Oddly the rest of her body was fully covered, green leather sleeves and armor on her arms and tarnish baggy pants and stockings covered her legs. And on her hip was a long sword, larger than she was.

[Q] I live... Again!

Her mouth didn't move, at least so far as I could see, but the words still came clear. The girl began to giggle to herself before throwing her head back to laugh like a madwoman.

"What did you do?" Alexandria's voice was level and she stressed each word. Her grip on Lisa's throat tightened, "Who is she?"

"Don't know," Tattletale grunted out. Her grin was still missing and she looked just as lost as I was, "That little trick wasn't supposed to open a door to anywhere."

Alexandria's hand twitched and Tattletale winced.

"Explain."

"I'm serious, that opening shouldn't, couldn't, lead anywhere. It's not like a wall where there's something on the other side. Because there isn't another side. There wouldn't even be nothing there because there isn't even a there to begin with!"

"Then where did she come from?"

Lisa gave a much of a shrug as her awkward position allowed, "Honestly you're guess is as good as mine."

[Q] Hungry. Bored.

Any attempts to question her further were cut off by out new guest. Having tired marveling at her new surroundings after finishing her laugh she'd turned her eyes towards the on going fight not too far away. With a lazy gait she made her way towards the battle.

Alexandria scowled and withdrew her hand from Lisa's throat. She left the other the younger girl to fall as she quickly made her way towards the redhead.

"Stop," She grabbed the other girl's shoulder from behind, "You are not going anywhere."

The swordswoman stopped and craned her head back to look at Alexandria. For a moment she just stared at her, running her eyes up and down her form.

[Q] ...You look tasty.

For a moment my mind froze. Was she propositioning Alexandria? And then the she began to reach for her sword. Alexandria had no doubt noticed it too, being much closer and the younger girl making no attempts to hide the action, but she showed no sign of caring. Given her durability her confidence was not unfounded, though at least one person seemed to think otherwise.

"Move!" Came Tattletale's panicked shout.

To her credit the woman wasted not a moment, disengaging from the unknown girl to moment the warning came.

But not fast enough.

Alexandria's hand held at the wrist by girl, her sword held in the other in a lazy grip. Alexandria herself was standing over five yards away clutching a bleeding stump.

Too fast. The action was too fast to see, not even as a blur. One moment the woman was whole, the next the redhead was snatching her severed arm out of the air.

She took a few moments to inspect the bleeding appendage, not paying any attention to it's reluctant donator.

[Q] Kinda scrawny, but I guess this'll do.

That time she did open her mouth, though not to speak. Instead she shoved the hand into her open mouth and bit down. With a disgusting crunch she bit off the entire lengths of the fingers. It's the work of less than a minute to consume the entire limb.

[Q] Bleh, tough and bland.

She tried to wipe her face using her sleeve but only succeeded in smearing the blood across her face. She then turned and began walking again towards where Echidna was throwing herself against walls of ice and stone. She didn't spare the paling form of Alexandria a second glance.

Shit, she's loosing a lot of blood. I really did not want to help her. Given her actions and recent revelations I doubted anyone present would. But for various reasons I simply couldn't just ignore her, not the least of which being that I couldn't watch someone bleed to death in front of me and do nothing.

I hurried towards her. She didn't look any better up close and her breathing sounded awful. I pulled out a few cords of spider silk, not wasting time cutting them down to length, and handed them to the woman. Quick on the uptake she placed one end in her mouth then wrapped the other around her arm as tight as she could. Thankfully it seemed to have worked unhindered by her durability as the blood slowed to a drip. Her breathing began to even out and her color returned however slowly.

A purple gloved hand fell on my shoulder.

"You might want to think twice about confronting mysterious strangers from outside time and space in the future. Well, unless you want her even that out for you a bit."

Despite her face being hidden behind the polished black metal helm I could tell that the woman was trying to glare daggers through my teammate's head. Dammit Tattletale, this is not the time.

Faultline followed behind her, alternating glares between Alexandria and Tattletale.

"You," The black clad cape growled, "Do you have any idea what've done. You've put all of us, this world, at risk with your scheming and released some unknown-"

"Traitor!" someone shouted from the sidelines, cutting her off.

Alexandria turned her head to try and identify the culprit. I got the impression she wasn't used to people insulting her. There were more capes nearby. Miss Militia had backed up, but was keeping her eyes on the spot where Echidna was trapped. A few yards away, closer towards where the portal stood, Gregor the Snail escorted a bound Sundancer and Ballistic to the periphery of the area.

Faultline turned to Tattletale to speak.

"I hate to interrupt," Chevalier said, jogging forward, "But our guest is getting a bit too close to the action and I'm not sure if that's a good thing."

Indeed, the girl had made more progress than expected while we were distracted. Already she had reached the front lines, those that had seen her display making room and those who hadn't following their lead. I turned to tattletale, also concerned about her close proximity to the rampaging pseudo-endbringer.

"I have no idea," She shrugged, "She's powerful, very powerful, and I have a hunch there's more to her than what we just saw. She's at least a potent Striker, 7 or 8, as well as a Brute to resist Alexandria's manhandling, and very fast. I doubt our little monster over there will be able to snatch her up. I'm think she will be able to hurt Echidna, possibly more than anyone else here.

"Besides, she won't listen to us and no one here can restrain her."

Given the ease of which the girl had maimed the nigh-invincible Alexandria with her sword I didn't doubt that assessment.
The girl bypassed the frontline and marched up to Echidna's prison, ignoring blasts raining down. A few of the capes eased off before noticing she wasn't effected by the few stray shots that clipped her. Definitely a Brute.

"And if she's captured?" Chevalier questioned.

"Well..."

As if sensing the cape Echidna's monstrous form burst through the blockade between her and the girl. The response from the nearby capes was fast, but not as fast as before, and the onslaught of blasts were focused on her exposed flesh. She was pushed back but not before a tendril limb snaked forward and grabbed the redhead and pulled her into the mass of flesh.

"Shit," Despite the very terrible thing that had just happened Lisa sounded like she'd simply forgotten her cell phone, "I think it might be a good idea to back away now."

This... This was bad. The little bit of headway that had been made, with Echidna kept constrained and the fight entering a sort of rhythm had been broken. It had been a slowly losing battle holding her back, and now she'd gained the upper hand, snatching up a cape that could easily tip the scales in her favor.

"Tattletale?" I hoped she would have a decent idea of what to expect. Absently I helped Alexandria to her feet, having still been somewhat shaky from the blood loss.

"It's not as bad as you're thinking," Was her answer, "But it won't be pleasant."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Faultline growled.

"She said she was hungry."
There wasn't time to ponder that cryptic response. A screeching horrible sound came from Echidna, so strong it almost felt like a physical blow when it hit. She was screaming, from every mouth on her misshapen body. It was low and guttural, high and keening, a sound that could be felt in the bones and like a pick being stabbed into the ears, and it resonated in a vile sort of harmony.

Thanks to my mask I couldn't cover my ears no mater how I tried, and I had to swallow bile that was building in the back of my throat. Everyone else was suffering similarly, many of those on the front lines having collapsed. A few even fell from the the sky.

Thankfully the break in defenses was not taken advantage of. Echinda was throwing herself wildly against the barriers still standing, all her limbs and tendrils clawing at her own flesh but ironically brought low by the same regeneration that had aided her before.

The clones that she had called before also seemed to have suffered from whatever was affecting her, as group by group they began to scream in pain before collapsing. Dead.

And as quickly as it had started the screaming just as abruptly stopped. In an almost comical scene Echinda's stilled form began to deflate, collapsing in on itself like a rotten gourd. And there there was silence.

No one was quite sure how to react to the sudden end of hostilities, most simply just focusing on recovering from the assault.

There was a squelching sound. It wasn't loud, but in the stressful silence is didn't need to be. Everyone's guard went back up, the front line scrambling to their feet, most to stand ready but a few to flee. The wet sound came again.

It was a body, someone struggling out from underneath the mountain of disfigured flesh. One of the clones? The blasters stood ready, poised to unleash a flood of firepower at the slightest trigger. The figure was small, small and blonde. With shaky legs she began to try and stand up, failing several times before being able to balance herself. She stood on two wobbly legs and lifted her head.

Noel. I had no idea how to respond. From top to bottom she looked... normal. Her monstrous lower half disappeared, and a look of confused fright resting on her face. She took an unsteady step forward.

There was a meaty thunk, and she stared down at her stomach uncomprehendingly. Staring down at the five feet of black metal protruding from her as if she could not grasp it. Her legs failed her and she slid from the blade. Behind her stood redheaded girl, soaked to the bone in blood and gore.

[Q] Augh, you tasted like shit!

She glared at everyone around her absently flicking her sword to remove the bits of flesh.

[Q] Seriously that was a terrible sacrifice, what sort of lame ass Evil God do you crapsacks take me for?
[Q] I have half a mind to slaughter all of you and deface your corpses as punishment. But that sounds kinda tedious.

She lifted the blade and pointed it at the surrounding capes, many backing off for obvious reasons.

[Q] Eeny Meeny Miney... You! Yes the flying green glowing wizard, your new god commands you to make her a sandwich!

=============================
My mind goes to the strangest fucking places when sleepy.

I don't know who that is but I like it.
Revya from the Demon Path (Evil Alt. Timeline) of Soul Nomad and The World Eaters. I actually did 2 quests featuring her before, one on SB and another here on QQ.

QQ's My Little Devourlord Can't Be This Cute! In which Revya, post destroying reality, gets summoned by Medea, destroys part of Fuyuki, kidnaps people, and crushes on Kirei.
SB's This is Why We Can't Have Nice Things In which Revya is summoned by Louise, murders everyone, and frolics in the carnage.
And here's the LP of Soul Nomad. And here's the Demon Path Alternate Timeline In which Revya goes insane after being given the Onyx Blade and decides to murder the world because fuck everyone that's why!

Lisa is at the mall one day, and hears three girls gossiping and laughing about this girl they've been bullying; how the girl, whose name seems to be 'Hebert', is probably going to kill herself after their latest prank (which put her in the hospital), and how pathetic they think she is for that. Of course, being Lisa, she hears more than they're saying, so if any of them have twinges of conscience, she knows who, and about how deep.

Now, Lisa is often fairly selfish, and kind of a bitch, but she's not a monster, and suicide is a hot button for her. Bluntly, she's pissed and rather disgusted, and here are three targets that she doesn't have to feel bad about unleashing the Bitch Within upon. She Listens, she Thinks, and then, she Talks. She breaks them down and shatters their psyches, probably one at a time (she's going to figure out who Sophia is pretty quickly, so getting a taser is likely), and possibly convinces one or two to turn themselves in.

Then she goes to find this 'Taylor Hebert' that Emma described so vividly, and try to help her.

EDIT: Optionally, Emma or Madison might trigger from the conversation. It's plausible that it would be that stressful.

I would love to see someone do credit to this idea. It is a simply amazing story concept.

So... With all the SIs why not a massive group worm SI adventure? A group of 5 or so SIs that pop up at various points in the worm-verse timeline and planet. None are aware that others exist and they all occupy the same version of Earth Bet so their accomplishments and failures might effect the story of another.

So let's start...
General Rules:
Perks and complications that effect 'verse as a whole will need to be okay'd with the other players and the GM before they are approved as they effect everyone (but only the one who takes them gets the points and is the most involved with it).
Decisions significantly effecting Taylor Hebert or having other major setting changing effects should be run by the group before being implemented.
No starting the quest any later than Skitter's first night out
If you choose a starting point before another character you cannot take or achieve actions that retroactively invalidate or contradict theirs.
Similarly if another players starts afterwards they cannot ignore the changes made by characters acting earlier in the timeline.
Not a rule, but to avoid paradoxes it's best to keep one's pre-cannon shenanigans self contained, sorta more of a prequel or back-story for the PC before canon starts.

The CYOA that will be used:

Addendum:
Lesser Power - Apprentice
Disciplines are Archived by Default, you have prodigious growth and the ability to use even the highest levels of the school provided you train up to reach that level first. Rather than just the listed powers given you may be capable in any school of magic, martial art, or other setting specific skill from a work of media that fairly widespread and is capable of being learned, if not by everybody, then by protagonist-like characters. If the power requires augmentation, such as new organs or tech you gain the ability to generate a facsimile of the catalyst or use the power regardless but the power cannot be taught without others unless they have access to it as well. For +1 point you can grant knowledge and the ability to use your discipline to others, for those disciplines that don't have such a requirement the student learns at an extremely accelerated pace. +1 You gain a tinker rating to produce items, either tech or magical, from the setting. For an Additional +1 to +2 you can produce masterwork one of a kind legendary items from the setting (an extra point to already have them on you). If your power requires some external force to function you can still use them though some hiccups may occure, for +1 these forces exist in the setting and you have access to them though their influence is minimal without the Crossover Perk. New Schools Added: Martial Arts (insert fighting manga here), Nen (HunterxHunter), FMA style Alchemy, [Fire/Water/Air/Earth] Bending (+1 Point to bend all four), Pokemon Trainer (Pokemon are generated at random start out low level and unevolved. +1 to Choose your own team. +1 to include pre-evolved. +1 to include Legendary and Pseudo Legendary), Puella Magi (Power Generated Randomly. Soul Gem cleans itself over time when not in use. +1 No corruption at all, +1-3 You get a wish add up to 2 points to increase it's power and subtract up to 2 points if it either fails to achieve anything or backfires in some fashion).

Lesser Power - Twins
No longer able to completely Jailbreak shards. For +1 point you can means in which the shard expresses itself, either changing it the medium it uses, remove the Manton Limit, Second Trigger, or simply increase it's strength. This perk can be taken multiple times. For major shards such as Eidolon's, Glastig Uaine's, or Contessa's they are severely limited in some fashion in addition to their already existing ones, perhaps Eidolon's shard only does not include secondary powers or intrinsic knowledge of their workings, GU's might have the parahuman reluctant to help or give GU the ability to use the powers herself rather than ghosts, The Path To Victory may not give any additional knowledge other than the steps to take when they need to be taken or otherwise include major blind spots. For +1 points you can power up these major shards up to their full potential (except path to victory).

Lesser Power - Wild Card
Some Shameless self-promotion, you can use the Squirrelly's Create A Cape template (Linked in my Sig) for +1 point and have some creative control in the creation of your totally original para-human power.

Greater Power - Crossover
You can choose the power from any fictional or dramatized character from an existing media rather than just comics. You can subtract 1-2 points and make this a lesser power if the character if the character is significantly weaker than the wormverse top tier. If their powers are fueled by an external force such as The Speed force or Divine powers they still work but may not work properly for +1 the force is made to exist and you have access to it but it may not significantly affect the plot without the crossover advantage. For +1 points you also have access to some significant items from their universe.

Greater Power - Exalted
Squirrelly doesn't play Exalted and knows shit about the system besides it being bullshit OP. So no Exalted powers in any game Squirrelly GMs because he's too lazy to research.

Greater Power - Servant
Original Servants from other fanfics may be accepted with GM approval. For +1 point you can teach others your skills, though naturally they are never going to hope to reach anywhere Servant levels of competence barring a miracle. For +1 you are not limited to a single class but have full access to all the servant's skills but this means you loose the benefits of the class system so Class specific advantages not innate to the servant that are boosted or added are lost. If you wish to have multiple Servant powers but only have access to one at a time for +1 you can switch between different similar versions of the servant, for +2 you can have access to those of the same class as yourself, for +4 all non Gil/Karna Servants are available. Should you make a Servant companion you gain access to 3 command seals for each servant, though more may be gained later through unknown means and GM fiat for +1 they are unlimited but exhausting or painful to use for +2 they are no longer exhausting.

Greater Power - Words of Power
For +1 you may teach others a lesser version of your words, perhaps a Language of Truth or weak Evocation magic. For +2 you may teach others the real thing though, again they are unlikely to every reach anywhere near your level barring some miracle.

World Breaking Power - Crossover
NEW POWER
Similar to the Greater Power, though this time if the character you're choosing is grossly over power there's no need to limit yourself. If they have a significant chance of whipping out all life on earth without much effort than here is where they belong. See that Power level name up there? Yeah, that's not an exaggeration. If anything we might be underselling it. This is the Tier for the planet busting Goku's, the Gap hax Yukari's, World Eating Devourlords, and the Silver Age Anti-monitor fisting Superman's. Anything that can bitchslap Scion like a redheaded step child really.

Advantage - Badass Normal
COMPLETE REWRITE
New price is +1. Despite being unpowered with no significant advantage such as tech, wealth, or super intelligence you still manage to tango parahumans like a boss. You might not be a Thinker but you certainly are a thinker. You're cunning, underhanded, canny, and lucky. For +1 you got much better luck, some might even think it's a super power in itself. This power can be taken by those with powers as well, though only is effective should you be in a position where you cannot use your powers.

Advantage - Charles Atlas Super Powers
Only effects Physical related skills. For +1 you're upper limit is increased dramatically to well into the super human level earning you ranks in Brute and/or mover.

Advantage - Genius
NEW ADVANTAGE
+1 Point you are a certified genius in pretty much any mental skill, expert on nearly any subject, hacking into the pentagon is a normal tuesday for you, you speak over 20 languages and made up a few more for shits and giggles. You hang your hat with the likes of Einstein, Tesla, DeVinci, and Feynmen. For +1 your genius dwarfs even them, you might not be able to make real tinker tech but your close enough, lets see those stuck CERN assholes reject your requests for funds when you burn down their houses with combustible lemons! Also Steam powered Mecha, no reason you just thought they'd be cool to make.

Advantage - Endbringer
NEW ADVANTAGE
+2 Only allowable on Standard or Higher levels of difficulty. You do not gain any major powers but you gain a slightly weaker version Endbringers' physiology in addition to your own powers, you are not automatically immune to Thinker and Manton Limited abilities but they still have a difficult time with you, Optionally you can choose to be able to transform into an Endbringer Form for no cost. For +1 you gain an additional core that can optionally be separated from your body, so long as one survives so will you and it's twin will eventually regenerate. For +1 you gain the full Endbringer package, just as tough, just as immune to Thinker and Manton Limited Abilities. For a -1 discount the other Endbringers take notice of your unusual existence and actively oppose you should you ever cross paths. For a -1 to -4 discount you are overcome by a Destructive urge that grows over time in sync with the Endbringer Cycle, for -1 it's resistible, For -2 it is nigh impossible to resist, but satiable without city wide devastation, for -4 you are a part of the Endbringer Cycle.

Advantage - Heroic Resolve
You're will is unbreakable. You keep a clear mind under duress, are capable of continuing through crippling pain, and will continue on even if it means brearing the crushing weight of the world on your shoulders. Any attempts to sway or control you are laughed off or ignored, for they find no purchase on your impervious determination. You do not bend, you do not bow, you are an unstopable force, that should your body be destroyed you would still continue onward steadily.

Advantage - Charisma
Something about you seems to bring out the best in others and cause them to gravitate towards you. Enemies may become rivals, rivals friends. You are a source of hope and inspiration. You are never wanting for friends, you seem to make them where ever you go. Others rally behind your causes ready to stand and fight beside you against overwhelming odds. You can radiate a presence that causes those who perceive you to take notice, weaker villains and monsters quake in fear of you and even greater foes may hesitate to engage.

Advantage - Out of Context Power
Normally your powers are granted by a shard, albeit a fake one, and to some extent working on Space Whale Magic rules. This removes that vulnerability, your powers are entirely your own and follow the logic of their own setting completely. Anything that would normally effect a shard does not effect you and attempts to read your power might not be successful. Unfortunately OCP works both ways and you might find some oddness in how your own abilities affect theirs.

Advantage - Power Perks
Your powers are even better than expected! For +1 your power grows extremely quickly with no known upper limit. Projection, for +1 you can choose to have a projection of your choosing be the one with the powers, it is an extension of yourself and has no will. For another +1 you gain Hidden Depths, your power has a few subtle aspects to it that make it much more useful than it seems, you are charge for every distinct new addition. +1 your shard is actually quite promiscuous~ Budding all over the place with so many people~ so yeah you're shard is prone to budding and you know to whom they go and can deny the bud if you wish.

Advantage - I'm Halping!
You have such a friendly little shard, it's more than willing to frontload a lot of things for you, maybe even continuing something when you're otherwise incapacitated or occupied. Sure Shard-tan might not be so bright but that's what the cycle is for! For +1 your shard is sapient, you even get a little moe avatar of Shard-tan that you can summon and can communicate with him or her, Shard-tan is here to Halp and will always follow orders! For -1 Shard-tan isn't actually that helpful, in fact she's kind of a bitch, she'll still halp you mostly but might say no if you annoy her. for -2 Shard-tan is uber pissed off, she actually hates you, what did you do to make shard-tan hate you!? For +1 Everyone gets a Shard-tan! And you can even see them and talk to them, not that they listen or care really.

A Better World - Crossover
In the event you have a crossover power and took the advantage to allow the powers that be of that universe to exist reduce the cost of this advantage by 1. Should the Universe exist on a different plane of existence and only have limited means of reaching or affecting Earth Bet reduce the cost by 1.

Disadvantage - Case 53
(0-3 points) If you have some easily concealable and non-hindering cosmetic changes that do not disadvantage you than this costs 0 points. If the changes are noticeable but not significantly monstrous this is worth -1 points. If your appearance is significantly inhuman though still mostly humanoid if frightening or disgusting this is worth -2. If your appearance is not human at all, or otherwise results in some sort of physical disability (lack of limbs, fragile body, etc) it is worth -4. If your mutation grants some form of advantage than add +1 to this advantage.

Disadvantage - Cape Complications
You have some problems regarding your need to lead a double life. -1 if you have particularly nosy relatives or housemates who might discover your identity whom you don't want to know. -1 for circumstances that limit your time out in costume, jobs, dependents, or social obligations. -1 if your cape identity is not well liked, either owing to PR unfriendly powers or your own actions, either way most don't think well of you. -1 if You are particularly unwilling to participate in parahuman activities and thus have no real alternate identity. For -2 your identity is public knowledge but not well known and others are reluctant to capitalize on it. For -4 you have no such protection, you no longer have a civilian ID at all and a lot of people are willing to break the unwritten rules to hurt you.

Disadvantage - Power Complications
Your powers are not quite a blessing after all. -1 if your powers have detrimental effects on your mind, effecting your perception of reality or personality. - 1 if your powers are not quite controllable, lacking any finess or a major part of it's function is random and beyond your control. - 2 if your powers activate without your direct control, being triggered by some external factor. -3 if they are constantly activated or activating with no means of stopping or hindering their detrimental effects. -1 point if your power comes at a cost, such as great fatigue or pain, for -2 the cost is permanent and hard if not impossible to redact. -1 if the power is given a limit, be it a Manton Limit or reducing it strength.

Import from the Worm CYOA thread
Power-Sovereign of the Fae: This power revolves around the harvesting, assimilation and control of the Shards of other parahumans. At a single glance you can identify a parahuman regardless of their acting ability, preventative measures or even stranger powers that should conceal this fact. You can also sense the general location of Shard users on a city level range. Shards can be collected from the recently dead in your general vicinity. Though with a touch you can rip them from the living. Doing so will kill the original host, and no powers of defence or protection will prevent this.
In addition to sensing Shards you have a limited ability to communicate with them and access their data. This allows you to instinctively know how a parahuman has used their power since gaining it, as well as the motivations behind the actions.

Harvested powers can be manifested as semi-solid phantoms that retain all the powers and skills of the original users but are under you complete control. Shards using physical powers such as strength or invulnerability will become solid while using such powers. Tinker and Thinker Shards will transmit their knowledge or insights directly to your mind so you can use it as you see fit. Should a phantom receive lethal damage it will 'shatter' and require a rest period of two hours before you can use it again. You have the natural ability to multitask in the control of your phantoms, but if you are rendered unconscious they will enter an auto-protect mode in which any hostile action towards you will be met with immediate and lethal force.

If you choose this power you can initially only manifest three phantoms at a time, however as you collect more your manifestation ability will increase. You will begin with five phantoms already in your 'court' and you can select their abilities, all of them will be at level 8 in their power ranking.
Cost: 2 points. (This power can be bought with 1 point, but if so then it comes with no starting phantoms attached.)

Perks: (Sovereign of the Fae only)

The Sovereign's Mercy: You can pull the Shards out of your victims without killing them. If you are feeling really merciful and the Shard is at the correct stage of development you can pull out a bud instead. This power will initially be very weak, but in time your own power will feed it and it will grow to be of similar power to its parent Shard. Its powers will follow a similar theme, but be somewhat different. The phantom will be a child of the same gender as the victim and bear a striking resemblance to them.
Cost: 1 point.

The Long Arm of the Sovereign: This perk extended the range at which you can forcefully claim Shards. No longer are you bound by the need to touch your victim, you can pull their powers out at a range of twenty feet. If you take this perk multiple times each additional time adds an additional twenty feet to your range.
Cost: 1 point.

Secret Knowledge (Can only be taken in conjunction to the The Cycle Begins Anew complication): You possess an intrinsic knowledge of the actions, plans, structure and motivations of the two new Entities that arrive on Earth. This knowledge might become outdated over time, but to start with at least there is nobody on the planet that knows more about them than you
Cost: 1 point.

Complications: (Sovereign of the Fae only)

The Dreaded: As a thief of powers and a harvester of the dead you have a fearsome and possibly somewhat undeserved reputation as a monster that shows no mercy and leaves a trail of corpses behind you of both the good and the bad. Any parahuman you encounter that recognizes you will immediately be fearful or aggressive until you can overcome the impression your reputation creates.
Grants 2 points.

Lost in Wonderland (can only be taken in conjunction with the Secret Knowledge perk): The knowledge that you have on the new Entities is garbled and distorted due to the sheer scale of it being too much for your human mind to handle. In order to preserve your sanity your subconscious has translated it into a metaphor such as fairy tales or some popular children's fantasy tale. The ultimate upshot is that if you try to explain it to anyone else it will end up sounding like the delusions of a well intentioned lunatic.
Grants 2 points.

Jealous Queen: The Faery Queen has heard of your abilities and is not happy about it. Glaistig Uaine is currently in the Birdcage, so it will be a while before she hears about you, but when she does she will no longer be content to wait for the Cycle to follow its course. You and your powers are an affront to her, and as a Queen she will not tolerate such. Her escape from the inescapable Birdcage is a certainty, and once she's out she'll be coming for you. In regards to death touches and stealing Shards, both of you are immune to that aspect of each others powers, if you want to kill each other you'll have to do it the old fashioned way, lasers, fire, blunt force trauma and massive amounts of property damage. It should be noted that while your power is the stronger hers it more mature and has literally hundreds of Shards already harvested, so any fight with her may be a difficult one. Also, though her ire is aroused, Glaistig Uaine may not necessarily seek your death. If she defeats you she may force you to follow whatever convoluted design her own mind has cooked up for you. Either way you have one of the most powerful parahumans in the world coming at you.
Grants 4 points.

Stirred Cauldron: Through means of their own Cauldron has become aware of you and the potential you possess. They are well aware that aside from Eidolon the only parahuma that has a hope in battle against Scion is Glaistig Uaine; unfortunately she is far too unreliable to be of use. Now here you are, a second chance for them to produce a weapon that might work. Cauldron will be in the shadows no matter where you go, their goal to force you into situations where you can 'harvest' as many dangerous and powerful Shards as fast as possible. In their normal way they are more than prepared to sacrifice some heroes if they feel it needed and will set up conditions where you need to kill in order to escape or live. Should you take the Blank perk they will still you mundane technology ad detective work to track you. Should you prove too uncontrollable they may well work to stick you in the Birdcage so you can go on a harvesting spree there and in the end harvest the Faery Queen herself.
Grants 3 points.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Power-Echidna: At will the lower part of your body can swell and mutate into a huge inhuman monster upon which your upper body rider centaur style. With a thought you can also revert back to a completely human form, but any clothes destroyed in the transformation will not come back, so it might be a good idea to carry some spare underpants and trousers about with you.

In both your transformed and untransformed state you possess a healing and regeneration factor that surpasses all other such on the planet, with the possible exception of Crawler. Due to you possessing two 'core', one in your brain and one in your lower abdomen, you can regenerate from any would that doesn't destroy both cores simultaneously. Even total decapitation can't kill you and a new head will take less than five seconds to grow back.

In your transformed state, whose form you determine before beginning you game (though it must always fulfil the following parameters: Larger than a full grown elephants at the very least, completely inhuman and possessing at least one 'face'), you will possess immense endurance, strength and speed, though the proportions of such will be determined by the form you choose. All of these will be at the very least class 7 in potency, and will be in addition to mover powers appropriate to the chosen form, such as running, leaping burrowing or even flight.

But this power's true strength can be found in its ability to produce clones. Every time you come into flesh to flesh contact with another individual you will automatically read their entire genetic structure and be given the option of creating a clone of them. All clones are completely loyal to you and lack any sense of self preservation or fear in following your orders.

These clones come in three categories. Warped, which are distorted and mutated copies of the originals. If a parahuman is copied then their powers will also be warped variations of the original. Mentally these clones can be anything from apathetic to flat out psychotic and need to be watched carefully. Perfect clones are exact copies, both in appearance, powers and mind. They are to all intents and purposes indistinguishable from the originals and possess all of their memories and skill. Idealized clones are clones that surpass the originals, they are stronger, smarter, better looking and, in the case of parahumans, possess stronger versions of the copied powers. The only down side is the time it takes to create them, which is about five times longer than the other varieties, and the fact that their lifespan can be measured in minutes, barely even an hour.

If you so wish rather than creating a clone with a touch you can absorb a subject directly into your body. Those captured in this manner will be placed in a state of suspended animation where they will share your regeneration ability, so long as they count as a part of your body they will only die if you do. Old injuries will heal and even lost stamina will be regained.
As long as such subjects remain within you you can produce a constant stream of clones of them, all at a reduced cost to your own stamina.

You are in no way limited in how many clones you can make, if you so wish you can have an entire army. However as numbers grow you may find problems in controlling the ranks increasing with the numbers.
Cast: 2 points.

Perks: (Echidna only)
Overlord of the Army: Every clone you create is directly under your mental control in much the same way that Skitter's insects are under hers. The range of this control is vast, easily 100 kilometres in every direction from you. Should a clone leave this area you will be able to sense their location, even if they are on the other side of the planet. As with Skitter you cannot be overloaded in how many clones you control, in addition this power overrules any Master effect that might be used on your clones.
Cost: 2 points.

Creator of Life: This Perk allows your clones to go one step further. Rather than simple drones you can now create true copies if you so choose. These duplicates have their own thoughts and feelings, indistinguishable from the original. There are some feelings of loyalty towards you, but if they are so inclined they can overcome this. Most valuable is that if you touch a dead body, or even part of a dead body as long as there is al large enough portion of DNA and neural matter intact, you can create a live clone possessing all the originals memories right up to the moment they died. Essentially you are capable of limited resurrection.
Cost: 3 points.

The Child Returns: If a clone has been alive for more than three days it can be considered 'ripe'. Ripe clones can be reabsorbed by you to gain weakened versions of whatever powers they might possess. If the clone is of a mundane human then you can absorb skills or knowledge depending on the nature of the clone in question. You can absorb multiple iterations of the same subject to strengthen the powers you have gained, meaning that in time you can equal or even surpass the original.
Cost: 2 points.

Complications: (Echidna only)
S-class Threat: the PRT is aware of you power and just how dangerous it can be. Exactly how this has happened is as up to you, they can have been told by a powerful Thinker, one of your enemies might have leaked the information to them, some random civilian might have seen your power at work and then rushed to tell them. Whatever the case, cool heads have NOT prevailed in regards to you. The top brass has panicked and slapped you with and S-class threat designation. During any meeting you have with lawful capes with any connection to the Protectorate or PRT they will start off thinking you to be a monster on par with Nilbog or the entire Slaughterhouse Nine and will attack you with lethal force straight off the bat. It is possible for you to overcome this impression, with time and effort, but until you do the heroes will not be your friends.
Grants 2 points.

Adorifying: As with S-class Threat information on you has been leaked, however instead of the authorities getting hold of it somehow the Slaughterhouse Nine were the recipients. Bonesaw has read the data and positively fallen in love with you. She has declared that you will be her special pet, and she will hug you and squeeze you and feed you and call you Nibbles. And she will have you provide her with an endless supply of subjects to 'play' with, along with the various organs she can cut out of you only for them to regenerate a few seconds later. The rest of the S9 are less interested in you, though Crawler thinks you might make for a good fight and Jack is curious about just how much he can mess with you. The Siberian is only interested in keeping Bonesaw happy and Mannequin will only target you if you have in some way tried to improve the world. Unlike the Slaughterhouse is Recruiting you won't have to deal with the whole S9 in one go, Bonesaw and the Siberian will show up alone first as part of a 'field trip' that is one of Jack's experiments. Later Crawler and another two random members will show up and the rest will arrive with Jack some days after that.
Grants 3 points.

Wayward Child: One of your clones has gone rogue. At some point early in your adventures you create a clone of some type of a powerful parahuman. That clone has stopped obeying your commands and has gone rogue to fulfil an agenda that you know nothing about. It's your job to track the clone down and either bring it back into the fold, work out some agreement with it or kill it depending on its mental state. This clones action will be held as your responsibility by everyone that knows how your powers work, so it's not something you can ignore. This complication can be taken as many times as you like, but each time you take it the number of clones you need to deal with increases. One point is for one clone, two points means you have to deal with three, three points means there are six clones to worry about and four points means there are nine, and so on.
Grants 1 point (can be taken multiple times).

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Power-The Gestalt: Rather than being one individual you are a hive mind controlling an entire team of parahumans. The number of bodies you control is dependant upon how many points you take in this power, one point gives you three bodies, two points gives you six, three gives you nine and so on. The bodies can be of any age, gender or race that you choose, you can even make them inhuman like Case-53s if you so desire.

The connection between bodies has no limited range and will even function across dimensions, if such become a factor. All bodies share sensory input and are always intuitively aware of their proximity to each other. It is impossible for you, the hive mind, to suffer information overload regardless of how many bodies you take. Additionally so long as one body remains intact any damaged or even destroyed bodies will regenerate to full health from any level of damage up to an including total molecular annihilation. Should all bodies sustain lethal level damage at once then you will die.

Each body must possess different powers, powers which you can select from the choices available. However those powers will be weakened and incomplete in comparison to the originals. For example should you choose Kaleidoscope then the body you choose will only be able to effect one of the options of time, space and reality, and then only in an imperfect and limited way. So if you chose to manipulate time you can choose two of the following choices: Temporal acceleration, Temporal deceleration, Causality violation, Time Freezing, Trans temporal perception or Temporal reversion.
Whatever power you choose would be classified as class 7, and will grow in power and scope as time passes. In time you will be the mind behind a team on par with the JLA or Avengers.

As a final resort you can merge all your bodies into a single form of your choice. This form will possess the sum of all your powers, but this will come at the cost of your immortality so long as one body remains. It grants immense power, but leave you vulnerable.
Perks: (Gestalt only)

New in Town: Upon your arrival something will happen to let you immediately gain considerable notoriety among all the local circles. If you want to be a team of heroes then you are immediately media darlings and beloved icons. If you want to be villains then you instantly have a reputation as powerful and competent commanding authority and respect. Certain factions may be less than thrilled with you, like the PRT or the E88 and Coil, but they will be reluctant to move against you. Your reputation will be a useful asset when engaging in negotiations, intimidations or any other form of bargaining.
Cost: 1 point.

Assimilation: You can now force others to join your hive mind, however doing so is not something to undertake lightly. When a new individual is added all their thoughts, emotions and memories will merge with your own. Even if your mind is the large and more powerful, and even if you have taken the Invictus perk, you will find that they have influenced you. You will have picked up some of their habits, opinions or inclinations. Overuse of this perk will lead you your own personality breaking down under the strain as more and more new data is added.
Cost: 1 point.

Complications: (Gestalt only)
Slaughterhouse Rivalry: Somehow your team has managed to gain the personal enmity of the whole Slaughterhouse Nine. Maybe it's a misunderstanding, maybe it's through your direct action, but either way the S9 is coming with the intention to put your team in the grave. This differs from The Slaughterhouse Is Hiring in that Jack Slash has no interest in either recruiting or deconstructing you. The Siberian, Mannequin, Bonesaw, Crawler, all of them don't want to make you suffer or fight you, at least that isn't their main priority, they simply want all your bodies dead. There will be little manoeuvring or hide and seek, you'd best get ready for a battle royal against one of the deadliest groups in the world.
Grants 4 points.

Mistaken identity: One of your bodies is the spitting image of a long dead cape whose affiliation is the opposite of your own. If you are a hero then you appear to have a villain on your team. If you are a villain then you appear to have a hero on your team. This has drawn attention from the media and the old associates of the cape in question are coming for you to demand answers. Depending of events you might be accused of cloning, mind control or any of a dozen other possibilities, whatever happens it'll be either inconvenient or embarrassing for you. You can take this complication multiple times with each new time meaning another body resembles someone.
Grants 1 point (but can be taken multiple times).

So... With all the SIs why not a massive group worm SI adventure? A group of 5 or so SIs that pop up at various points in the worm-verse timeline and planet. None are aware that others exist and they all occupy the same version of Earth Bet so their accomplishments and failures might effect the story of another.

How would you randomly generate said powers that are randomly generated? Like is there a site that I could go to to randomly pick it out?

Because while I might not do this... I feel like generating a magical girl Lich.

-edit-

Which would be better than my velociraptor jedi idea I had a while back.

-edit-

Though powers gained by the magical girl Lich's are normally related to their wishes. Like if I wished I could kill lets say... everyone in Ellisberg I would get a power related to making that possible.

Sorta like this one story that had Commander shepard wished to kill every Baterian on a single planet at the same time.

-edit-

Ah fuck it. I'm making myself saber Lily.

Btw, the disadvantages should add points not subtract them. And Advantages subtract points instead of adding them.

Well, if you're looking for random powers, I have a convenient half-built RPG system that includes random power generation that you can borrow. Both fun and effective. I've been using it for Price.

And it has been adapted to Worm (taking basically no effort at all) already. I'll roll 3 powers to start with, plus two more for hypothetical Second Trigger material:

67... "Material Form"
08... "Recovery" (Basically the mental version of regeneration, shrugging off fatigue and emotion based powers)
71... "Astral Travel"- Doesn't really exist in Worm as a setting. But you can handwave it as Dimensional Bullshit.

Second Trigger Options

74... "Hyper Speed"- Well, that's just convenient movement and reaction time bonuses.
71... Again... Astral Travel. Could just reroll, but why not keep it around?

Pretty hodgepodge. I don't know what this shard did, but I'm pretty sure it fucks with quantum mechanics. Let's look at known Trigger Events.

If Taylor got this shard, she might end up with the ability to take on ghostlike form and step into peoples' dreams. Allowing Escape and Intel Gathering options, which her trigger is just begging for. Creepiness ensues.

Someone like, say, Brian... takes it another way, allowing him to merge with matter and become a sort of living statue.

Second (double) trigger Taylor gains the ability to jump between dreams of different individuals and link them together.

Brian gains the ability to travel through material, almost as a form of slow teleportation.

Both could easily have cousin-shards to Sophia.

EDIT: Oh, this site only lets you roll after you post. Lame.

[dice]3710[/dice]

New Set!

49- Time Manip
29- Tracking power signatures (Think "sensing ki")
99- A tail
56- Projected Senses (Scrying)
77- Spacewarping

... Apparently Vista and Clockblocker had a moment...

So the core powers are a form of timewarping, the ability to track others with powers, and... well, tail...

Taylor gets the full double trigger. Granting her the ability to subtly sense and bend the flow of time and space around her, including warp-bubbles in it caused by other powers (at least, as long as they're being used). She has significant sensory range at the very least.

The tail... I really got nothin'... Worm's setting doesn't lend itself well to physical mutations the way the settings I designed this thing for do...

Brian gets a more combat oriented power, seeing how time flows in a given individual and having the power to warp it. Make him a potentially deadly striker. Maybe the 'tail' could function as a sort of temporal combat 'whip', granting a certain level of reach to his standard attack, at the cost of loss of control and it being an always-deadly weapon.

His second trigger (same cause) gives him extended senses and reach for his existent ability. Granted, he remains surgically attached to a wall, so... nice going, shard?

Saber Lilly seems fine, though the Social Obligations flaw takes up a bit more time than just normal school. You're not going to be heroing all the time, and it's assumed that you will be doing things during your time off. So your Obligations need to be able to intrude on your cape life, forcing you to choose between the two at times. So Heroing times is probably going to happen semi frequently while your class time is on or you've got longer than normal classes perhaps having extra curricular activities or after school sessions.

I know at least one exception. It's where I do all my gaming since it's actually *built* for it.

That makes sense.

True... I'll have to think of something later on then. I know a few things that would make me choose like that.

I also edited in my Puella Magica build in my post.

Still no idea on how to choose said Magical girls magic power though.

Hmm, I should probably make a template for how Puella's work.

It's automatically assumed you give a wish, you did get a wish before entering the setting. By default you have low Karma so it can't really effect the story or add a major power onto yourself (though something fairly weak might be Okay). Examples would be Mami's wish which didn't do anything but probably made her more competent. Your points spent on the Wish Puella advantage increases your Karma, for +1 you have a high karma and your wish gives you something of an additional power even if not always under your control or it effects the setting. Examples would be Kyoko's who effected a lot of people and gave her hypnotism. For +2 you got a really strong Karma and thus a really good wish that might effect the setting, this includes killing all the endbringers already active, but doesn't give much of a bonus outside of that. Example would be Madoka wishing to kill Walpergus Nacht. For +3 you've got just shy of Madoka levels of bullshit karma, so basically Madoka before the finale timeline, not only do you get a powerful world altering wish but you also have bullshit powerful Puella magic. Examples would be Homura, or Madoka from the previous timeline. As for Wish backlash, well for example wishing away a major threat to worm-verse for -1 the power vacuum is refilled eventually by something of a similar threat and likely only escalated to that point because of your wish. For -2 you just made things worse, so all the Other Endbringers Revive or maybe just a few but they're not fucking around anymore, it's pretty similar to the It Get's Worse complications.

As for power generation, I'm more hands-on than simply pulling up a random generator and relying exclusively on it. Though you can do that if you want. I'd say give a wish fitting your Karma level and pull up a few random powers pulled from a generator and I will try and make a power out of it, if nothing fits I might let you re-roll the powers. Or if you want I can just give you the powers based off the wish.

Weapons. All puella have weapons, that's were their main power comes from and can only be used when transformed. Powers that originate from Wishes however are innate to the Puela magi and can be used outside of their transformation as they don't require the weapon. For example Kyoko's hypnosis or Sayaka's healing.

Grief is gained by using magic, as always, and also by feeling bad. It's recovered naturally and heals faster in positive emotions. Let's say that Kyuubey decided that it'd be easier to constantly siphon the despair out of the gem than let it sit till you become a witch. If in the event that you do become a witch feel free to rebuild your character as the witch for +2 points to retain your sanity and gain witch traits which are similar but different to the Endbringer Traits if much weaker. For +1 it's a the same strength as the Normal Endbringer Advantage. The traits you gain are a witch form, a Labyrinth, rapid regeneration, Contract making, the ability to create things from Grief, and minor shapeshifting in human form.

As Witch Disadvantages, they're similar to Endbringer Disadvantages. For -1 you are compelled to eat people and cause suffering and it's extremely hard to resist while in your witch form. for -2 you can't resist at all, you eat souls and don't give a shit. for an addition -1 you don't even really recall you're life prior to becoming a witch.

That clears a few things up. I'm guessing world changing bullshit wishes must be agree upon by the people involved since it would affect them as well.

Or it could be utterly small... like if I wish for something small with bullshit karma the power gained from that would still be great.

I was wondering about bringing Kyuubey in the setting if I do choose to go with Pualle magica though. Because that is something world changing in a neutral way. Good in the fact that Kyuubey will probably want Scion dead. Bad because Kyuubey is in the setting, that also means revenants or wraiths, what ever they are called must also be in the setting for magical girls to farm grief seeds.

Like say the events of the series took place in another dimension and another earth but Madokami's bullshit wish effected all dimensions in a way thus giving access to these dimensions to the incubators as well in order to make magical girls for them to fight foes and stuff like that.

Damn... now I'm already thinking about a plot point on my wish.

-edit-

Or use a witch as a plot point... that could work even though it would be depressing.

Kyuubey was mostly just a joke, he doesn't exist in the Worm setting unless you spend a point to allow him (as one of the external forces aka Powers That Be of the Madoka-verse) into the setting where he is bound by the same rules as other Powers that be. Depending on when you appear his involvement won't change enough to need to involve others. And great news, all Puella Magi get the same default advantage you do so no need to fight witches to live, even though you probably don't want them running around. In fact Kyuubey is very grateful to you for opening up the multiverse to him and the other incubators. So there's that. ...You monster.

Now let's build a character

She only passed release by faking sanity, and is fearful of any relapse and being sent back to the sanitarium even after years away.

Yeah, I'm not going to bring Kyuubey into worm if he's not needed. xD

But I think I would go with the Puella magica since that seems like it would make a better story in my head than saber Lily. So, Master of Squirrel-fu, think this would work out? I'm basically a magical girl version of Edelon.

0-4-1-1-1-2=-9+9=0
skitter mode
reincarnation+1: no memories of the person
powers:
Puella Magi -4
Karma level: Bullshit.

I wish I had the power to help people.

Magica power: Changes depending on what I need to help people at a given time. If someone needs to be healed, I gain the power to heal. If something needs blasting, I gain power to blast it, if I need to protect something I gain the power to create barriers and things.

Magica weapon: An eloquent looking longsword with a gold hand guard and palmell and the hand-grip is white. And a small white buckler like shield attached to my left arm.

advantages:
comic book pretty-1
special snowflake-1
heroic resolve-1
resources-2

disadvantages:
wilbow whats a wilbow? +2
without a map: +2 Ellisberg a few weeks before the goblin king rises.
pint size+ 1
cape complications +3
-social obligations or nosy relatives. Probably nosy relatives at first
-identity becomes public knowledge in the battle for Ellisberg
plot related stuff:
I was a rich little girl that is known for her frail health and constantly getting sick. It was a miracle that I even lived until ten years old, but it wasn't sickness that almost did me in, but an accident sent me in a coma for a few weeks and the doctors were not optimistic that I would ever recover. Miraculously I did and I woke up in better health than I ever was in my life... to bad about the amnesia though.
Even became a magical girl destined to fight monsters in my city!

Name: Alicia Roseheart | Alias: Arcania(might come up with something better later)
Affiliation: Independent Hero | Alignment: Good
Gender: F | Age: 10| Build: Petite, skinny
Ethnicity: White | Hair: Blond | Eyes: Blue
Class: blaster, brute, mover, shaker, Trump
Power: Has shown varied powers depending on the situation but the most common powers shown are a beam attack, shrugging off damage and taking hits that should have crushed her bones, moving fast and jumping much higher than a normal human and creating wings of light that allows her to fly, and summoning and demising a sword and shield.

Don't think I'll do the synopsis as that would probably be spoilers since I'll probably write the first couple of weeks before Ellisberg happens and that event itself before skipping to the canon's start. What happens in Ellisberg is there is a rather huge spoiler but I will say that Piggot and Thomas are not going to be the only survivors and there may be some OC Magical girls running about. Piggot would also probably be much healthier than in canon.

For +4 You're Karma is less bullshit and more very strong, Like Homura's. But given the power it's enough.
Your Puella magic is more basic, but can generate more esoteric effects but the strength of you're power drains mightily on your Gem more so the more complex the power. Simple, if powerful, effects are easy, but something like effecting time or space is out. So while you might be able to flash step you can't outright teleport and such. You're powers also are slow to load leaving you vulnerable. You have several modes you can become before combat that best fit situations. Mobility, Attack, Defense, and Blaster Modes, and can dynamically alter them to suit the situation. Effectively 5 'points; to spend between the 4 modes.
Your Puella Weapon is naturally a sword, a big sword. But it's also somewhat mechanical looking, quite chic. It can change it's appearance to suit the needs of your powers if need be. The same with the shield, but both are one and the same. The weapon unlike other Puella weapons can't be recreated but it can be resummoned or pulled back towards your hand.

You are 10 when you start, if you plan to jump right to Canon afterwards, a 10 year gap, then your aging is slowed dramatically, you are a very very petite 15 often being mistaken for 12 or younger. Legally you're 20 but most call bullshit and don't believe you even if you have an ID.
You're name is linked to your cape identity, but you aren't quite a widely known cape. If someone happens to know your cape identity then they know who you really are and semi-frequently you run into people who recognize you out of costume.
Mobility Mode; Super Speed. Flight. Agility. Shundo.
Attack Mode: Enhanced strength, Quick change Weapon, Hyper Advanced Reflexes, Exploding Strikes
Tank Mode: Greater Shield, Greater Armor, Force field generation, Absorb Damage for Charge(Still takes damage)
Blaster Mode: Dakka, MOAR DAKKA, Add Area Effect, Add Drones.

I like it.

Kinda reminds me of Nanoha in a way though.

Master of Squirrel-fu would other magical girls I empower get a wish?

You didn't take that perk. Forgot to mention it. You only took the 2 point Lesser Power - Apprentice Puella Magi and the 2 Point Greater Karma perk.

Hmm thought that was automatic. So that is 1 extra point to increase right? And I could only gain 10 points from disadvantages so that will even out.

Would the other magical girls be able to create more magical girls? There is a chance that Witches will start appearing in the 10 years after Ellisburg if that is the case.

You will be able to contract magical girls, their power depends on their own karma and is out of your control. As stated before, Puella now don't require grief seeds, but they may eventually witch if not careful.
You cannot lie about the contract but you can withhold information. You cannot suggest wishes, though you can assist others in their own. You cannot affect the wish in any way nor will you know what the results may be. You cannot refuse a wish that is possible for you to grant after entering a negotiation. Once the deal is sealed it cannot be undone.

Most of them probably wouldn't have strong karma considering they would have probably been killed in Ellisberg if I wasn't there... or would that be moderate karma?

Most Unnamed characters and NPCs naturally have very weak Karma, possibly not even enough to get a decent power.
Unnamed characters with tragic back-stories might have some okay but weak Karma and be able to reach the default.
Named but unimportant characters have the same.
Named but unimportant characters with a tragic backstory reach +1 rank in karma.
Named and semi important characters like parahumans or NPCs made by PCs reach +1 Karma
Important characters like other PCs reach +2 Karma
Very Important Characters (Taylor, Triumvirate, Fletchet) get +3 Karma ranks.

This does not take into account special cases or the risk of a fuck up turning the wish into a monkey's paw. In fact for higher Karma MGs you might run into a bigger risk of things going pear shaped from the wish. If you try and grant powers to a PC, unless they have spare points then the Wish is assumed to screw them over in some way to balance the points to 0.

Makes sense to me.

Btw, would there be a thread created or a pm for the authors to communicate with eachother?
