The boys Sophia tried to get to duct tape Taylor to a pole in canon succeed. Then they tried to rape her. She tried to defend herself but was knocked unconscious. Her bugs killed 273 people, including her attackers and Sophia.

Hey Ack , just reread Price of Blood, and looking over your story list reminded me of a possible idea that I might have suggested some time ago. It was related to your Another Way stories, but this time instead of Marquis taking the hit like canon, it would have Lady Photon deflect Brandish away from Amelia, possibly with an 'are you stupid' rant about why people should not aim to hit something that a villain is protecting.

Does this sound like a good idea? Whether as a one-shot or longer story?

 

Better idea, Marquis actually dies from the hit and then we don't have to read about those spiffy leather pants anymore (and get an interesting character development for Brandish I suppose)

 

I do have a story in development where Marquis dies.

However, other people also die, and it gets ... dark.

Working title is Living in Brockton Bay is Suffering.

(Just btw, expect the next chapter of Alea Iacta Est in about 24 hours).

 

It's an interesting premise. Like Another Way, in that Marquis gets to raise Amelia.
Unlike it in that M & A stay in BB, and there's possibly a split in BBB, with either Lady Photon & Manpower or Brandish & Flashbang quitting the team. Because I can't see Brandish letting that go, and the split would go with whoever Lightstar and Fleur sided with.

Could get messy.
