...okay, well. That was fast.
And Wyvern wins again. Really Bad End can see the finishing post, but NSW is coming up fast and will almost certainly pass it on the inside. Better luck next turn.
After RBE has its turn, however, things will be looking interesting. We have no less than four stories in the 900 range. Granted, some of them are slow starters, but some are not.
Time will tell.
Time and yours truly.
Based on the predictions from last time, things have shifted interestingly. We have several very close races coming up, and many of them have moved around from my last forecast.
Vote 89 is still a projected win for
NSW, but its margin has shrunk from mid-20s to mid-teens. I still kinda doubt it'll lose out, as it's more than twice as popular than it's competition, but we'll see if vote-trading affects that at all. Votes 90 and 91 are rock-solid;
Really Bad End takes 90 if it doesn't manage to unseat NSW, and
Alea Iacta Est takes 91 no matter what -- huge margin there, 180+.
The balance has, for the moment, tipped on Votes 92 to 94.
All Alone has pulled ahead and is currently projected to win Vote 92 by just shy of 20 votes.
Trump Card is still a solid bet in Vote 93, while
Meet the Heberts has been knocked back to Vote 94.
Votes 95 and 96 have also tipped.
Confrontation II now has an edge in 95, but an extremely narrow one -- margin is only 4 votes right now.
Slippery Slope is close behind it, but may have to wait until Vote 96.
Recoil is just behind it, too, but will definitely win by Vote 97 at the latest -- the last story,
I, Panacea, is more than 100 votes behind it.
Danny & Taylor appears to have been pushed completely off the chart for now, but is waiting in the wings.
Past that point, rounds-to-win are:
Alea Iacta Est: 4
All Alone: 20
Bait & Switch: 22
Confrontation II: 18
Danny & Taylor: 1
Hostage Situation: 7
I, Panacea: 12
Junior Hero: 6
Meet the Heberts: 16
MirrorVerse: 12
NSW: 15
Nemesis: 12
One More Trigger: 7
Really Bad End: 41
Recoil: 10
Security!: 1
Slippery Slope: 16
Trump Card: 7
War Games: 4
Wyvern: 1
Again, that's counting from Vote 98, not our most recent one.
Accuracy last round was 97.26%, with an average difference of 9 votes. Most accurate in both categories was a tie between
Confrontation II and
Junior Hero, which were both 100% accurate -- 0 votes off. Least accurate proportionally was
MirrorVerse, which only earned 70% of expected votes after its win. Least accurate in raw votes was
Wyvern, which came in 23 votes
ahead of predictions.
My vote:
[X] Meet the Heberts - 6
[X] NSW - 5
[X] Security! - 4
[X] War Games - 3
[X] One More Trigger - 2
[X] Recoil - 1
