You're really new to the site so I thought I'd let you know you should review QQ's rules regarding thread necromancy. People will get mad and mods do lock threads over it. Requesting a thread unlock for a story you write isn't hard, but it is another step in the way of getting a new chapter out which is no bueno.

These regret themed short love stories are so repetitive and boring, like in every single one of them, MC always breaks it off completely to leave the other person in such regret that they never love again for the rest of their lives, like not a single one is where they both grow as people and get back together... it's like a reflection of how childish these writers and their readers are collectively

I feel like the anime version of Fairy Tail, and perhaps the series as a whole, was limited by the animation technologies of the time, but it might also be because the budget wasn't that high either. I just think that unlike a lot of shonen anime of that era, maybe this one would have had a different effect than "that looks like shit"

Like, you know, anime of that era was still all hand drawn, but it's really rough, so the line art usually can't stand up to scrutiny, and the colors are always too overly vibrant rather than "true colors", action is choppy... but what I mean is outside of these inevitable flaws, this anime is so shit

I mean, yeah, the story is shit too, but it's pretty creative over all, you know, turning into dragons, traveling to alternate worlds, magic cannons, etc. etc. especially compared to the following generation of shonen that becomes "isekai to generic not-dragon quest world".

I just mean, modern tech could have a greater effect on it than on, idk, bleach or whatever

It feels like there ought to be like a "all devices factory reset" button for, like, all your devices, like if you isekai, you don't want someone to flip through your phone or computer and find something, right? It's like "dying with dignity" but "isekai with dignity"... so from this point of view, those truck drivers are really impolite and inconsiderate, since they don't even give you time to wipe your hard drive

Hey, thank you very much for asking! The hard numbers are that I get 70% from the sales on Amazon (plus higher visibility for other potential buyers), but from a reader's perspective, it's a much better deal to get on Patreon, as all the current originals are available there at the €3 tier and above--Patreon also gets about 20% of my income, so less than Amazon. Honestly, I am always very grateful no matter what.

Fair enough, just remember to take some downtime when everything starts to feel overwhelming. I've found that just focusing on something completely different for a while helps me clear my head and sort things out.

I think the exacerbating factor here is overbroad. If there are multiple such characters, without an obvious reason like mind control, sure.

But creating a waifu-tulpa (as e.g. the main character of Chaos;Head does) does not make a character a Sue (just insane), and I'd argue that considering all targets of sufficiently-extreme yandere to be automatically Sues is also not really correct (I wouldn't consider Itoshiki Nozumu a Sue because of Tsunetsuki Matoi, for instance).

Okay, yes, in that case I think the only way to get a non-Sue is to have literally only one character in the work, which is so hilariously rare as to be a reasonable omission (though I suppose pure "all just a dream" works technically qualify).

Some of the most fun I've had playing a computer game was from playing CK3 Guardians of Azeroth 2 as a character inspired by your Magic and How to Steal It story (custom necro-dragon character named Malius with Lich-King-like powers), so thanks for the inspiration!

After December 2020 only one story has tags while the rest don't and it's hard to not know what to expect only based on the summary ironically.

Oh makes sense, as a reader I can agree that even I've done that at times (have some type of big expectations because of the tags shown) so I can understand that it's a pain or ends up annoying due to insistence.
