I just hit 1k followers for Cells of Bells on FFN! Not the most signifcant of achievements, but it means a lot to me having started reading and writing there. Most followed Cell fic on a site (for however long that lasts). I feel like I could retire in peace

Have you thought about doing something with JoJo?

Just off the top of my head, I could see Xander dressing up as Jonathan Joestar, Joseph Joestar, or Jotaro Kujo. I mean, the first two are literally vampire hunters that use Sun Energy (Hamon) to kill vamps. And Jotaro... because well he put DIO down for good, and has a cool, iconic outfit?

Or Xander could find a Stand Arrow or something along those lines?

Heh, well thanks, truly, especially since someone else said it was a little underwhelming when compared to the emotional back and forth that came before anything happened, but I could understand the slight criticism so it wasn't a big deal. I hesitate to say they're dead. Dead implies that I have zero interest in returning to them. I definitely do, but my muse goes where it goes and I'm not able to force anything when it comes to writing. Quality drops, it becomes slop, and I hate it. It's possible— I've come back to other stories before even if for a brief period.

If you think about it, Faerun/Toril/whatever DND canon settings and the Goblin Slayer world aren't really that different in terms of "deathworldness", but the Goblin Slayer world brought the unspoken rules to the forefront, which is that this is all just a giant boardgame of the gods, one bad dice means you're fucked. It's never played out in DND, some authors don't even acknowledge it, but it's actually the same.
