Lately, I've been running into a lot of stories that are filled with filler, like you'd read a chapter and realize that there's like five sentences of the entire thing that has actual substance, you know, like, it's like the microtransactions of stories

It's just that most stories here with some level of popularity get AI voiced, if not professional audiobooks with multiple actors and sound effects (yeah they do audiobooks of fanfics too lmao), so when it gets wordy around the middle of the story after the pace slows down, I have to get up every minute or two to skip ahead 10-30 seconds, which is hella annoyinggg

Yeah, there's a lot of them on bilibili and even on youtube, but you know, most of it is chinese, english versions are hundreds of chapters behind and often a lot worse, because, you know, translation

Did you decide to drop the cyclops SI? was getting super interesting, and even as someone who's never really read any of the books was actually really easy to understand, would not be surprised if you were a real part time author just because of how immersed you got me.

It's not dropped. I just write fabrics for fun when I have time, and I haven't had any recently.

That said, I've worked a bit on the next chapter already, and I'll probably have a chance to finish it soon.

So is the Ugly Bastard Sekirei story abandoned after almost two years of inactivity? Or is it still in line? Cuz last time it was asked you said it was third in line after two updates to some of your older stories but I don't follow those so I don't know if you've updated those stories yet or at all. Is it still in the plans?

It's still in line. Real life kind of sidelined most of my stories and the one I'm currently working on is the one I really want to work on and that one is still kind of taking a while because of a lack of time to really focus on it. It's unfortunate but I just don't have as much time to update things as I used to.
FB:K is super fun. Really intense. The best way I can think to describe it is that you are a badass, but so is everything else, so you're on equal footing with everything.

Alas, it's a shonen show, so not much brain was used in the world building

I mean it's pretty much setup for the author so he can make the evil pieces do whatever the plot requires at a later point in the story.
