I expect Sacraments to be significant power boosts and that's always better to have sooner rather than later.
Rarity's commission is really important actually as Rarity has now turned into a rather efficient money maker since the wedding.
At the end of the turn we're gonna need to refresh Biedde, and we need to prepare for whatever an inevitable LV7 book expedition is gonna be for Baldomare (I want to prepare for that as though it's gonna be LONG and require at least two of our names to complete effectively, which is 240 bits committed. Even if I'm overestimating, better to be safer than sorry while we're on a time limit.)

A valid concern. We could drop the book search action and have Rarity commission potentially, but it's already a bit too late in the vote for something like that. Less than 100 fewer bits won't be the worst possible drain. We'll still get bits from her after all. So the real focus is on what we can accomplish best this turn. She can always commission next turn if we don't desperately need her not to. We likely won't have the chance to Forge Sacrament until later on, and only if we DO get that chance will it alter the costs significantly. We're also hoping to study a bunch of artifacts next turn so we can possibly sell the low-level ones we don't need to earn some money back.
I can't promise we'll be fine, but whatever happens, we'll manage.
Can confirm that your plan has properly updated.Already done Chiefs. Got that money on my mind and my mind on that money, and our research backlog is already considerable. Adding another book to it would not help matters. Esspecially since there is no guarantee we get the Level 3 Heart Book we actually want.
Unless I screwed up somehow and the change doesn't appear on a fresh tally.
Thanks I hate it. Agency is agonizing. I think a part of me wants to not vote because then whatever happens it's not my fault
That's understandable.Yeah I hate it. Agency is agonizing. I think a part of me wants to not vote because then whatever happens it's not my fault
Risen? What risen? There were no risen-related plans. At least not among the top three...@OurLadyOfWires would the risen immediately be usable for Cover Your Bases? In that case we could edit a Rarity Commission for basically no loss...
It wasn't shown "on-screen" per se, but you did confirm it OOC at the end of the update.PS: In other news, I just want to confirm something. It was implied that Shining Armor learned about Luna, since you revealed her to Cadance. But was that ever shown "on-screen" during an update? My notes say no, but I want to double check with you guys. Maybe I am missing something.
Or at least, I assume that's what it meant (i.e. the technically was in regard to be able to say the highest echelons of the Bureau are aware, not that Shining Armor is only technically aware of Luna)You have further ingratiated yourself with the Lunar Bureau. And, very technically, you have revealed the existence of Princess Luna to the very highest echelon of the Bureau (your Deputy). But more importantly, you have learned that your Constables to not appreciate being used as a support to your Detectives, and they will feel a lot more useful if they perform dedicated actions that reflect their abilities. However, your efforts to ingratiate yourself with the Bureau are making more progress than your casual use of their skills is mining their trust in you.
Choosing not to act is to deny accountability. Thanks I hate it. Agency is agonizing. I think a part of me wants to not vote because then whatever happens it's not my fault
I knew I had written it somewhere, but I was unsure if it was a full scene or just an unthreadmarked comment between posts. This was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you kindly!Or at least, I assume that's what it meant (i.e. the technically was in regard to be able to say the highest echelons of the Bureau are aware, not that Shining Armor is technically aware of Luna)
Depends on what people vote for in Velvet Phase, ultimately. I'd be inclined to delay it until next turn, either for a second study action or another DoA attempt, but I am not the entirety of the voterbaseSo are we doing Forge Redemption this turn or not? I remember people wanting to do it before getting Moth sacrament. If spending actions on Lantern artifact and Moth book delays it then there is no much point in getting ready for Moth sacrament early.
Or Lantern is specifically for Moth book only?
He's the Winterest pony in the world who has been pursuing the Wolf for half a year! He's a threat who's been given all the time he could wish for! This being a horror quest does not make a lone cultist with no infrastructure or allies an immediate threat to us. He was not Copper, having the backing of an entire Cult with its Artifacts and Funds and Cadres and Minions. He had his GF, his packed bags, and some Winter. This isn't like leaving the Master alone, or facing down Celestia's instant Lantern Cult of the Best and Brightest.
Nevermind not starting the turn yet, Velvet technically hasn't even decided what she's going to do yet! Just her friends and summons*After so long of deliberation and struggling to make a decision...*
Velvet, collapsing into a chair: "What a month so far, huh?"
Baldomare, being neither kind nor cruel: "Velvet, dear, the turn hasn't started yet."
The prioritization fight on DoA sacrament vs alternatives will be delightful.Nevermind not starting the turn yet, Velvet technically hasn't even decided what she's going to do yet! Just her friends and summons
Answer: She's going to scream.Velvet technically hasn't even decided what she's going to do yet!
