• The site has now migrated to Xenforo 2. If you see any issues with the forum operation, please post them in the feedback thread.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
  • The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.

How did you find QQ?

I found it because I had some (poorly written) porn-without-plot Worm stories that certainly weren't allowed on SB, so someone kindly pointed me at QQ. And the world was never the same again.

Heard it mentioned on SV in some offhand comment. Wanted to make sure NetTally worked on as many forums as possible. Came over here and found out that the only working tally program was via IRC. Was very sad. Spent time making sure NetTally was functional here. Decided to stick around, due to some enjoyable quests.

For those that care about something... Not exactly related, but not unrelated either, we have reached 15k members.

We are actually about 3k members behind SV.

We are almost as big as SV and I can say we definitely have less reports~

If we actually manage to become bigger than SV, I would love to see Squishy's reaction to that. :D

It's better to count in terms of daily active members, or posts per day, or something like that. Lots of people register and then abandon their accounts, and on QQ in particular there's a lot of lurkers with accounts (so they can see NSFW stuff) who'd just remain anonymous on SB/SV.

That sounds like Squishy making excuses.

Initially? From a small backwards forum over on Fanfiction.net. Couldn't tell you what one now though, but I vaguely remember someone talking about it there.

Moved on to space-battles soon after, from there to sufficient velocity and after having seen QQ mentioned a whole bunch on both sites, figured why the hell not.

Made an account... a year and a half ago, give or take a few months? Around'about that anyway.

tl;dr
First heard of QQ on ff.net, saw it mentioned a ton on SB and SV, came over cause one of the stories I was following mentioned having a thread over here for smut.

SV has a "Quest Resources" thread, which talks about all the sites and apps they could find that host quests or quest-like things. :p

I heard someone mention that QQ was a forum full of porn stuff and smut. Back then, I was at the tail end of my high-schools career and was the victim of a long-standing internet censorship policy at my boarding school. I joined QQ to find a smut site that likely wasn't tagged by the censors, and discovered a whole new world.

It took me a while to work up the balls to register. I've been terrified of people tracing my illicit activities back to me IRL, and anonymity is paramount for me. I made a fake email address registered to a fake phone number under a fake name to sign up here. I also used that email to sign up for Pixiv, furaffinity, EHentai, AO3, Discord, Reddit, and Tumblr.

I also used a VPN for that whole process.

I'm paranoid.

lol XD

I was trawling through SB, when I heard QQ mention a few times as adult site counterpart of it. Then I subsequently forgot about it.

Then, SB being nuked due to server limitations back then in.... 2014?2015? So I first joined SV, but then discovered later on that the new forum also pretty restrictive in term of story that can be posted. Only then I remembered of QQ.

And the rest is history. Well, my QQ history to be exact.

I first heard about QQ on SB last year, but it was only recently that I decided to come take a look. Was somewhat surprised to see how many people used their SB name here.

Long story short, I'm a curious guy who wanted to see what this place was like and has a few story ideas himself, though I'm not really all that confident in my writing ability because of how easily I get writers block and I have no idea how to run a quest either.

The best way to get past that is to do, even if you crash and burn... doing gives you momentum and you keep doing.

Pretty sure I came across QQ from spacebattles... probably via Panacea Quest?

Pretty sure I found it through off-hand mentions at SB, over a prolonged period of time. Got curious, so I checked it out.

Glad I did.

Somebody mentioned QQ on Spacebattles and when i asked what the acronym meant they told me about this forum.

Cue me immediately looking for it and joining.

Jumpchain. I used to be pretty active in the community, and mainly registered an account to check out the Lewd/Banned Jumps.
