  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.

I'm not getting emails from QQ

Reader mode
Same, last email(gmail) alert was recieved at 7:13 AM EST and there aren't any in my spam folder

Same here, Gmail. Last one received was 23 hours ago, just 2 mins off funnily enough.
 
So, I changed my email in the contact option, whatever you want to call it, to one of my other Gmail accounts, and got an email there about reconfirming my email. We'll see if I get any email alerts there. Edit: for any mods/admins, I don't mind that being logged. I'm not likely to try to evade a ban via different emails. If I get banned, I will do my best to appeal it, since I tend to just live and let live, for the most part, and abide by the decisions from that appeal process.
 
I'm in the same boat, got an alert email for The New Man (Adam Smasher SI fic) which was posted here at 4:19am EST, then nothing since then. I use yahoo mail, and I checked my spam folder because an older thread with this same issue had a mod saying it was 'something they couldn't do anything about since it had to do with email filters', but nothing there either. Just no emails from QQ for almost 15 hours now.
 
Using Gmail and I too haven't gotten email all day
 
I'm using gmail and I'm not receiving any emails either. Thought it was a gmail problem but from the posts above, it seems every email platform is also affected. Hopefully the mods can fix this problem.

If so, that's probably good news, because it's something the admins can probably fix. (The other likely explanation would be that QQ had gotten added to a spam blacklist - the 'pretend this IP doesn't exist' kind, not Gmail's content-based send-to-spam-folder filter - which would be harder to get undone.)
 
Joining the club, no emails for me. I am using gmail as well and my last email was roughly 24 hours ago
 
I am on Gmail too and the last email notification I got was over 24 hours ago, since then I have not received any more email notifications, even though a few fics I follow have been updated.

Yeah, same thing. Getting nothing for emails.
 
Oh good, I thought it was just me. So this thing seems to be affecting those using Gmail, huh.
