I gotta say, I'm really diggin the world building aspects that have been thought up here.
Stuff like the legend of The Witch Queen of Argus, and the Order of the Broken Table are fanatastic. I especially enjoy the Order of the Broken Table as a religion, as it basically replaces the Two Brothers letting them fall into fairytale and obscurity while not being just another loosely defined religion. Oum being a stand in for God was creative, and a fun little salute to one of the series creators, but all it was a word swap.
Also it shows that Salem has corrupted the Maidens before, and that this eternal battle between Ozma and Salem has had massive back and forths throughout history, and gives the Fall of Beacon more as the first chapter in a new dark age that our intrepid heroes must end.
