[RWBY] RWBY Shorts

So which Jaune kids OT3 interactions do you guys think would happen?

Jaune x Ruby x Blake - lots of hilarious disagreements over house pets. Cats vs Dogs. On the other hand - the craziest games of tag. Also always trying to one-up their cousins - children of Aqua, Megumin and Darkness. Them growing up is forever remembered in Radian as The Chuuni Wars.

Jaune x Weiss x Pyrrha - really, really spoiled kids as both girls shower them with affection due to their emotionally deprived childhoods, Jaune has to be the strict parent.

Some more prompts:

-Jaune tells his dad that his advice "Be Confident" was insufficient. So Nick Arc decides to teach Jaune everything he knows about wooing women!

-Blake and Jaune's book club continues.

-Isabel starts giving Blake therapy. Poor, poor Isabel.

-Ren is introduced to martial arts movies. He is less than impressed and very deadpan about it. Which is hilarious. Hilarious enough his friends encourage him to start a YouTube Channel equivalent?

-Turns out that there was an attempt at a gynoid like Penny before her. She was also Polendinia's creation, but she was given the soul of a terminally ill woman that Polendinia deeply cared for. Her name was Hadaly Turquoise (after the first gynoid in science fiction, from the novel "The Future Eve", and the Turquoise is a color and in reference to the Blue Fairy from "Pinnochio".). She functioned well enough for a time but the transfer process was unstable... And so was she. At times violently, other times falling into a deep depression. So she was shut down and put into stasis until some kind of solution could be found. Everything Polendinia learned from this experience was poured into Penny, making Hadaly her mother after a fashion.

So what happens when Penny learns she has a mother and reactivates her?

Jaune tells his dad that his advice "Be Confident" was insufficient. So Nick Arc decides to teach Jaune everything he knows about wooing women!
Isabella later beats up Nick after Jaune comes home for a few weeks and introduces his multiple girlfriends. Of which Willow and Glynda are a part of. And radiating an aura of smug

Turns out his dad got the advice from his mom.

And the advice was supposed to counter "Natural himbo energy" that he supposedly inherited from his dad

Still taking a break. I'm also potentially sick with the flu so that's great.

Here are some more ideas and prompts:

-Weiss Schnee has an embarrassing secret: She has a bit of a crush on Roman Torchwick. She has articles and newspaper clippings and everything! She just can't help it, he's so dashing!

-Pyrrha tries various hobbies since she really doesn't have any. Attempts include painting, pottery, model building, and cooking. Only the last one causes a lot of destruction.

-Nora tries to become a housewife to be domestic and get Ren's attention. And naturally there's only one person who can teach her: Jaune Arc.

-May is a really, REALLY good sniper. Like, an incredibly good sniper. She's an even better shot than Ruby AND Pyrrha. Which gets her a lot of attention that she frankly doesn't want. Which allows her and Pyrrha to bond a bit over not liking fame and attention.

-Ren did have to pickpocket sometimes as an orphan with Nora. A skill he still uses from time to time. Something that catches Emerald's attention, being a former thief herself.

Some Arc Clan Prompts:

-Jaune's distant cousin, Mike Nelson, comes for a visit with his two robot companions: Tom Servo and Crow T. Robot (Mystery Science Theater 3000).

-Another distant cousin, Rikku Arc (From Final Fantasy X) comes to visit. And she's a little too sweet on her distant cousin for Pyrrha's taste.

-Another distant cousin, Samus Aran-Arc, is one of Remnant's most formidable bounty hunters. And she's out for someone's head in Vale. (Metroid)

-Katsuki Bakugo, another distant cousin, is a Hunter-in-training from the island nation of Fuujin (basically Japan). His goal is to be the number one Huntsman in the world... And is competing with his childhood friend, Deku. Naturally Blake thinks they're into eachother. (My Hero Academia).

-Rangiku Matsumoto is a fantastic swordswoman from Fuujin (and a very distant cousin) who is utterly shameless and poses as a Huntress-in-training. Jaune tries to keep her from being too embarrassing. (Bleach)

-Nora tries to become a housewife to be domestic and get Ren's attention. And naturally there's only one person who can teach her: Jaune Arc.

Nora: "It's just a practice wedding."

*Ren Glances at paperwork*

Ren: "A legally binding practice wedding."

-Jaune's distant cousin, Mike Nelson, comes for a visit with his two robot companions: Tom Servo and Crow T. Robot (Mystery Science Theater 3000).

Cinder tries to hijack the Satellite of Love, and crash it into Beacon.

Qrow and Crow meet, and things get awkward fast.

Tom Servo and Penny get along pretty well.

And after the day is saved, Mike chooses Pyrrha's movie for the crews next movie riffing.

Makes sense if you go by Roman book, he is a morally grey and if Weiss finds out about his link to shutting down the school for assassins she would be a fan...
Actually this would be interesting if Blake and her fight on who is responsible for the robberies
Blake defending the White Fang and Weiss defending Roman only for both to be wrong. Would be interesting lil thing to add to V2 ending if Weiss get an autograph after they capture him

-Pyrrha tries various hobbies since she really doesn't have any. Attempts include painting, pottery, model building, and cooking. Only the last one causes a lot of destruction.
didn't this happen already? Like she was happy cooking/baking only to cause destruction untold.
Could be Ren and Jaune trying to get Pyrrha a new hoppy like Painting is for fun not 'being good' and pottery you can just smack it down if you don't like it and start again leaving large room for error and very cathartic. Ruby and Jaune are Gundam builders and i will fight for this headcannon and Pyrrha getting into the hobby along side Nerd Yang [she is smart and fixed her high tech bike in a shed with basic tools]

-Nora tries to become a housewife to be domestic and get Ren's attention. And naturally there's only one person who can teach her: Jaune Arc.
Nora ending up like Tatsu has she learns from Jaune the way of the house husband! Hilarity ensues

-May is a really, REALLY good sniper. Like, an incredibly good sniper. She's an even better shot than Ruby AND Pyrrha. Which gets her a lot of attention that she frankly doesn't want. Which allows her and Pyrrha to bond a bit over not liking fame and attention.
May pulling of Devil May Cry style shoots as Ruby gets some much needed Sniper training to complement her top tier Scythe skills. And Pyrrha helping someone deal with sudden popularity is so wholesome... until Pyrrha learns May crush on Jaune
Yang: to bad your unarm skills are still non-existent!
May and Ruby on the ground after losing there weapons: ergh

-Ren did have to pickpocket sometimes as an orphan with Nora. A skill he still uses from time to time. Something that catches Emerald's attention, being a former thief herself.

Ren is a impressive pickpocket rivalling Emerald but it is Nora who is a grandmaster of the art

Salem ordering Cinder to stopping a Satellite from launching or getting to orbit is a major plot point of RWBY so that makes sense

-Another distant cousin, Rikku Arc (From Final Fantasy X) comes to visit. And she's a little too sweet on her distant cousin for Pyrrha's taste.

Rikku is either flirty or a distant enough of Cousin for it to be ok, Pyrrha is learning Yandere mode

-Another distant cousin, Samus Aran-Arc, is one of Remnant's most formidable bounty hunters. And she's out for someone's head in Vale. (Metroid)

Samus fits Remnant perfectly for Remnant an armor possible bird faunus? and bounty hunter... um Samus: Yang you seem to have a lookalike or evil "twin" with a bounty

Katsuki finding Blake Fanfiction and just blue screen at the horror... Weiss asks if Blake takes commissions and Ruby is screaming filth as she reads every chapter and Yang an avid readers with Pyrrha a proud commenter with ideas

-Rangiku Matsumoto is a fantastic swordswoman from Fuujin (and a very distant cousin) who is utterly shameless and poses as a Huntress-in-training. Jaune tries to keep her from being too embarrassing. (Bleach)

Jaune treating Rangiku as a Christmas Cake while everyone else is either jealous of her or Jaune

Nora: "It's just a practice wedding."

*Ren Glances at paperwork*

Ren: "A legally binding practice wedding."

Years later, while watching his second child on the swingset, with Nora nursing their third…

Ren: wait, that wasn't a practice justice of the peace… or a practice honeymoon… or a practice second wedding with my old fiancé… or a practice delivery… or a practice buying a house and looking for schools with my two practice wives and our practice kids… Jaune, what happened?

Jaune, in a similar predicament, only with maybe half of the named female characters in RWBY due to timeline convergences and wacky shenanigans: dude, I tried to help, but things got out of control and I've got my own troubles now. Pyrrha and Yang are competing to see who can have more kids, Ruby keeps making them deadly weapons for their birthdays, Glynda has baby rabies, and my mom just keeps egging them all on!

Ren, a rare smile as he watches his eldest play with some other kids: well, I guess this isn't so bad

Jaune: Ren, the number of my kids is almost at three digits. THREE. DIGITS. If it weren't for Nana and the royalties for our family I'd be going broke just feeding everyone

Right. I am sick at home. Here's a different kind of prompt: Write backstories for these cities if they were in Remnant:

Use any worldbuilding seen previously in this thread to continue.

That first one reminds me of the twins from ASOIAF. Maybe have them be similar to them? ruled by a rich and powerful house of hunters, who are nonetheless not very well respected because of their more 'mercenary' nature even by the standards of Hunters and their refusal to aid, or even shelter people in their city unless they provide sufficient compensation, either in the form of Lien; or some sort of valuable skill. Its made their house and city among the richest in Vale but is almost universally disliked at best and outright hated at worst.

I think it would have been cool to explore the spectrum of Hunters, from the ones like Ruby and Jaune who do it out of idealism, to the adrenaline junkies like Yang, and finally the one that was missing in the series, the people who do it for baser reasons: to get paid and to enjoy the celebrity status that being a Hunter should inevitably garner you.

The first started as a simple bridge build for trade between two other cities, but that trade attracted both wealthy merchants and anyone who's on the run from the law, and eventually both of them made some small permanent buildings as a pitstop, taverns, etc.
Eventually this trade hub became its own city specialising trade with everyone close and far, which means it's poor in terms of raw resources, but very rich in trade and services.

This created a city with little in terms of Law, where money reigns supreme, and where you can by anything and everything for the right price.
Because of the large amount of wealth and little in terms of laws, there is a lot of criminals, so if you want to survive you either need to be strong, wealthy enough to buy protection, possibly both, or poor and clever.
This also means that the city has a lot of mercenaries and bodyguards for hire, and thus a pretty decent training ground for future Huntsmen and decent place for old Huntsmen to retire.

Number 4 has a colosseum, so they could have public gladiator fights there (just like in real life, actually killing an opponent is seen as extremely bad form, and fighters are seen as famous sports players), and they may also put other entertainment there, like theatre plays.
Pyrrha might be from there, considering her history.

Prompt: either through technology or magic mystical mumbo jumbo, nearby Grimm pools instead change and start spawning animals. Problem is, these are extinct animals from prehistory and there's a hell of a lot to pick from. On the flip side, people with unlocked Auras can subdue and eventually fully tame these creatures, though doing so allows them to channel their Semblance through the animal . Question is, who gets what kind of prehistoric beasty?

Nora, of course, bonds with a Megatherium, a giant ground sloth about the size of an elephant.

What would everyone else get? Assume the animals magically can handle the atmosphere and current food or prey and whatnot.

Well Ruby obviously gets dire wolves, being little red riding hood and all.

Have fun fighting the girl with a pack of bus sized wolves.

Well, dire wolves aren't the size of a bus and technically aren't even actual wolves. Unless we're talking from other universes where they have the same name or something, like ASOIAF, and even then they aren't that big.

Bigger issue would be dire wolves that mesh with her Semblance and now you have hyper speedy wolves zooming everywhere.

I might have over hyped the size a bit. But they're still big as fuck. And speedy wolves? Oh yes. This can only end one way.

Zwei the war corgi and his battle brothers.

Now all I can think of is a giant wolf with the personality of a labrador who's running around because they have the zoomies.

They aren't?
My whole life has been a lie.
The what are they?

They are canids, but a different part of the family tree. You wouldn't call a fox or a jackal a wolf, even though they are related. Similar situation, only they only really found out through genetic analysis. Plenty of things are getting reclassified through the same method, such as the American cheetah not being an actual cheetah, but a cheetah-like puma.

If Blake bonded with such a creature, perhaps an accurate Velociraptor? Forget Jurassic Park, these things weren't even knee high.
