Charisma? Not appearance? We only fuck with four dice? Unacceptable! The first excellency is the best one for this. If we have the second we can make sure every time we have sex we are at least acceptable. If we take the third we can make up for bad rolls, that is if we totally fail to make her cum we can try again. But if we take the first: Pretty often we will do well at sex, only seldom will we leave our partner unsatisfied, but in a longer relationship that just sometimes happens. However... sometimes... We roll good with eight dice, we are a porno character come to life. And in the Memories of our ladies the best sex they ever had with us and the last sex they had with us will be at the forefront of their minds, so our peak performance will count for fifty per cent of their perception.

These are the Old Laws, small excerpts of an infinite litany of denial which rolls through the black dreams of the Neverborn. This Charm is similar to Taboo-Inflicting Diatribe (see Exalted, p. 238), save that it does not create a taboo or fad, but a law. The Abyssal’s Socialize roll suffers a -1 external penalty if the majority of the targeted social group’s members are alive, and a separate -3 external penalty if the Old Law he hands down has nothing to do with death or the dead.

'This Charm is a Socialize-based social attack to compel a social group with Magnitude 1+. The character must have spent several hours within the last month encouraging the desired attitude within this group before using this Charm, and this Charm must be invoked in the presence of at least one member of that group. The Exalt’s player rolls ([Charisma or Manipulation] + Socialize). Subtract an external penalty equal to the leader’s MDV plus half of the group’s Magnitude from the rolled successes If the character succeeds, the social group adopts a taboo or fad of the character’s choice. The society instantly integrates the taboo or fad into its Policy. The taboo or fad remains part of the group’s Policy until the group’s leader spends a total of 10 Loyalty, at most one per week, to remove it. It is also a part of the Policy of any social groups of Magnitude 1+ that splinter off from the target group, and the leader of those groups must spend a total of 10 Loyalty, at most one per week, to remove it.

This Charm has no effect on individuals, save that breaking the new rules of their society can make them outcasts. Its primary function outside of narrative time is to limit the actions that social groups can take.'

So are we going to tell Kayden the exact nature of out trigger event, as in Max getting angry and almost killing us by accident?

On one hand it would hilarious to see her reaction to that but on the other hand it will probably cause some problems.

 

Isn't this counter to the persona we want Theo to have? The hee-hawing, I mean.

Plus Kayden will probably be disappointed that Theo doesn't want to fight with her instead of the Empire. Though I wonder if it's just Max she dislikes?

 

Besides Theo being awkward and adorkable to people he knows/likes but being THE DARK PRINCE!!! to people he doesn't or in public seems consistent to me since he did kinda act like that with Sabah after the party (while being all princely during it)

 

Theo doesn't like Kayden, he was indifferent to her when his dad was alive.

it's only after his father died and on the run that he started to care for her because he was being tormented by Crusader, Night and Fog into triggering, that he saw her for the first time as his protector.

he respects her but that's it.
