With This Ring (Young Justice SI) (Thread Fourteen)

Since Boss Smiley thrives on corruption, and Sleez is the god of corruption, would they get along and team up against Paul?

No. Boss Smiley would consider Sleez horribly myopic and small-minded. Remember, in Season of Dreams Boss Smiley was happy for Prez to have two terms, and only acted against him overtly towards the end. He was useful, even if his defiance was temporarily frustrating. Sleez couldn't conceive of doing that, and Boss Smiley wouldn't care to teach him.

"Then what the heck is he? He's too powerful for a newly created god, the whole… Concept of political machination doesn't lend itself to such overt power, and our society's only become powerful enough for that sort of thing relatively recently so he can't be an elemental. Is he a demon?"
Look at OL, forgetting that he lives in a universe where Time and Multiversal Travel is a thing.

The house folds in on itself, giving me a brief view of a surprised Angelica before our surroundings warp and I'm drawn-
Alright that's FAR more concerning than a nearby explosion for the cliffhanger. I don't think we are going back to Melmoth's playground, and I don't think there is a waiting ambush on the other side.

Short Version, She's a demon that was created using the Ophidian's power, and she sees the Greed Snake as her Father, since her mother was Lilith aka Adam's first wife. That makes her an 'Lilim' due to her mother, and ....well we don't know What she gets from the Ophidian, but since the greed snake doesn't have a Mortal's Eye View OL has stepped forward to fill in the parental role of his snakey half.

EDIT: Dang, League of Shadow'ed
Step-parent? No, I'm going with godparent for Paragon-Paul because that's a hilarious title for what a civilian would call a demon.
