So China had this kind of pronouns chaos thing too before, and it was kind of political, but it was like 600 years ago during the Ming era, when monks used to call themselves 咱家 to represent indifference and inner peace, but was later gender appropriated by eunuchs to represent lack of sex/desire, so they say 咱家 in place of other pronouns
