Trajectory Agreement is homebrew, and even if it was approved it wouldn't fix that. The way to "fix" it is to send some of your subjects to a world first so that they can set up the conditions for your invitation.

Mr. Zoat I just had the most wonderful/awful idea. I was listening to Meant to be Yours from Heathers and the idea just struck me. Have you considered an AU that was pretty much the same up until the first Merging with the Ophidian? With the Ophidian being much more possessive/obsessive over not wanting to let go of Paul? Essentially a JD-type Ophidian?

I made a massive list of characters I thought would interact with a reverse isekai in the most interesting ways, and then I pared the list slowly down to the characters I could determine an entire arc or at least a throughline for. I also tried to weigh the list away from the characters I'd most-want from their universes, just to keep things interesting.
