Tanuki have a plan Bii for the charactersheet... it is coherent and is not going to end up like a charactersheet designed by committee, which can end up pretty bad if compromises/composite are done. Note that this charactersheet is build on plain 2nd edition rules. No errata or house-rules involved.

Anima Flare : Spend 1 mote to Cause their anima to flare to any level of display up to the 8–10 mote level. This display lasts for a scene or until reflexively dismissed, after which the character’s anima dims to its actual level.

Essence Sense : Attune his Essence to the emanations of the Underworld for a scene, extending this sixth sense to a radius of (Essence x 100) yards. Within this zone, he can feel shadowlands clearly enough to map their exact border.

Seal the Deal : If he touches the hands of people who make a promise, the deathknight may
reflexively spend 10 motes and 1 Willpower to call the Neverborn to witness the oath. (Doing so costs nothing while the Moonshadow displays his anima banner at the 11–15 mote level.) Upon invocation, the air bleeds spider-like runes spelling out the broken promises of the gods’ ancient fealty to the Primordials. Anyone who breaks these sanctified promises is fated to botch a
number of actions equal to the Essence rating the Moonshadow had when the promise was made. The Storyteller decides when the botches occur. Until all of the botches take place, the oathbreaker instinctively understands the doom her treachery brought upon herself.

Diplomatic Protection : Although Moonshadows are not protected by the same pacts as their Eclipse cousins, they receive similar protection from other creatures of death. Such creatures instinctively know that the Neverborn can twist their fate to make them suffer. If a creature of death initiates physical hostilities against a Moonshadow who has shown his caste mark and invoked the protection of Oblivion, the aggressor suffers a Resonance effect chosen by the Abyssal’s player. The severity of the effect equals the Abyssal’s Essence rating (though the Moonshadow does not actually vent any points of Resonance).

Copy Cat : He may perform the ultimate feat of magical cheating by learning non-Abyssal Charms. Such Charms cost 16 experience points apiece to learn, and two extra motes to activate.

Motivation

The Dark Prince is but a young abyssal. Thus, his goals are smaller in scope. To destroy those who would stand in his way, who would harm Kayden and Aster, Frenja and Menja, Rune, and all the other sweet pussy he would tap in the Empire.

Anima

A single disc of absolute darkness floated in absolute perfection, a gaping maw into the void of oblivion, while a ring of energetic dark light spun clockwise around the disc. The bleeding had long stopped when the icon of negative energy had formed over the stigma.

Shimmering waves of translucent darkness flowed off of the Dark Prince like an elegant noble robe of energy with silver highlights. While seething black orbs swirled slowly and purposefully around him as of planets around their sun, a miasma of almost black dark purple and silver sparkles trailed behind them.

And yet, he spent more essence. Pulling at the very fabric of reality, denying its existence, and his aura only grew, forming an ever elaborate robe around him. While the orbs of darkness only multiplied...

Eventually, reality was rent... and the heavens darkened. One could still see perfectly... and yet, it was as if the very sun and all sources of light had been eclipsed.

While behind the Dark Prince, a majestic lady stood towering over him. She was dressed as he was, in flowing robes of darkness and glittering silver, a halo of absolute darkness floated above her head, while wings fluttered from her back, countless wings with feathers of infinite darkness and depth. There was a sense that she saw all, despite her eyes being covered by the reptilian bird skull that she wore as a helm.

It wouldn't just be a suboptimal character. It'd be a nightmare and we do NOT have the XP to even come close to fixing it because... guess what? committee XP spending and since XP spending is expensive, we'd need to pick and choose again on what needs to be done first.

Around them are shadowy figures suggestive of an enemy force. They occasionally move against the knights but are always rebuffed. A cloud of swords, both soulsteel and spectral, floats above the battlefield.
