If you're going to make a Jaune harem fic, taking cues from Tenchi-Muyo is a good approach. All the girls have great characters, they all bounce off one another, Tenchi is more of an everyman but he has a good character and an arc. You can put two Tenchi characters together and know exactly how they'll bounce off eachother. It's simple but well done character writing.

So for Hazel, his semblance stops him from feeling pain so though he was literally impaled through his chest, he didn't actually feel it. Now its never clarified if he never feels pain at all or if his semblance can be turned on or off, but I just assume that unless he suffers an actual fatal or crippling injury he can just keep on fighting.
For Jaune, we know that he can boost aura regeneration like he did for Weiss. I would guess that he can do that for himself as well and that it's unique to him. Aura recovery seems to just happen with time. Jaune is unique however. This scene just shows how he was getting better at using his semblance.
If Remnant is anything like our world where the laws of physics and non-ideal conditions dictate that energy will be lost to the surroundings (most likely heat), thus rendering man-made perpetual motion impossible, then Jaune's aura-semblance system should be a big deal.
Honestly, it sounds more and more like Jaune is a discount isekai protagonist who ends up with a super rare talent that makes him ultra-powerful in the new world of being a huntsman.

I think like every other Shonen series,Remnant has a "Field of Magic", in the sense that everything related to its power system is able to bend or bypass the laws of Physics.
So while a Perpetual Motion machine using "normal" means is impossible like irl, a sufficiently capable "magician" can easily bypass it, if not fully than partially.
Unfortunately there is no "partially" breaking of Laws of Thermodynamics, as they are very binary in there nature(something is either permitted, or it is not, no other ways about it)
So, due to the writers' own folly, they accidentally gave him a perpetual motion engine for a "Soul" power. One that can enhance and heal others.
Oh my god somebody send him to tibetean monks that will teach him about, "flow", 'breathe" and "motion" of aura/chi already, he'll be Turbo Charging people like Naruto in KCM by the next day.
I think I have commented on r/fnki already how Aura amp and Adam's moon slice can probably build a magic the gathering infinite damage deck.
