You don't roll Appearance, you roll either Charisma or Manipulation. Appearance just modifies the MDV.

This would probably be Charisma: OO + Presence: OOOO + Defying the Established Social Order (Presence): OOO

Presence is Charisma or Manipulation, Appearance is just a stat that makes us passively more awesome
 
if we need an attack we can do it the next write in, it looks like this may be the final nail in the coffin of the fight as it were
 
How much does appearance 5 lower MDV? Does it lower MDV by 5?

The person with lower appearance suffers a penalty of the different as a debuff. Ok
So we would channel Charisma OO+Performance-Presence OOOO+Specialty Defying the Established Social order OOO

First Presence Excellency will let us spend a mote for an additional dice. Since we went for max that's 9 additional dice

Channel Compassion for 5 more dice+2 dice from the stunt

Irresistible Salesman Spirit to double succeses

Enemy-Castigating Solar Judgment halves MDV

So 25 dice, with doubled successes gives us 25 success on average.

Is my math right?

Appearance can only lower MDV by 3 max, and that's when the enemy has App 2 or lower. Since Raiser is, I think, described as pretty good looking I'd expect -2 or even -1.
Presence Excellency can only give us 6 dice, specialties don't count unless you're a Dragonblooded, for Solars it's just (Attribute + Ability)

Phoenix regen works by force of will and stamina. We've worn down his tamina with our holy attacks. If we can crush his will with our social attack then the fight is basically over.

Hmm. Our Presence +Charisma is still 6 Dice in itself.

Do we still get 3 additional dice from our specialty overall?

This is really really insightful.

It's really really horrible that Smuthunters stunt is a blunt as a hammer and doesn't attackthe point with a true indictment against the estalished order, himself who represents it, and their worth as devils who can not raise their own power to keep their place, and instead must lash out at the happiness of strong.

thats not the problem we are facing here, we are facing Raiser atm, not the group he represents as a whole, and in case you hadn't noticed, Issei tends to do well with the blunt approach
