Legs? Muscles? No, those are his balls. They made nazi batman dummy thick to distract his enemies when they hear the clap of his cheeks they'll never know what hit them.
While that arguably was Cauldron's fault, it wasn't the fault of the wider PRT. They were playing an unwinnable game due to how shards work.

Eidolon was responsible for the Endbringers. The opposite actually, Cauldron was responsible for the PRT functioning at least somewhat effectively, since Zion Shards prevent cooperation in large groups of parahumans. It were the various Parahumans with Eden Shards and occasionally the direct influence of Cauldron which prevented the PRT from falling apart and North America to end up like Africa.
And when she needs to travel underwater she can just take her Overunterseeboot.
Das Uh-Oh-Boot.And when she needs to travel underwater she can just take her Overunterseeboot.
Probably not the actual reason, but worth noting that the Neureichsmänner would probably sound in modern German closer to "the newly rich men" than "the men of the new reich" due to neureich. There doesn't seem to be an elegant way to translate "New Reichsmen" into pure German; I presume they'd just have dropped the new, if anything.

Eden was responsible for the Endbringers. All Eidolon did was subconsciously wish for a challenge and no one could really blame him for that since no one can control their own subconscious. The moment he learned what had "woke up" the Endbringers he was horrified.Eidolon was responsible for the Endbringers.
Cauldron routinely gave powers to supervillains, and Number Man was supervillain banking.
Personally I prefer Grrl Power, Wearing the Cape and My Hero Acadamia. It's nice to see superhero settings were government regulation and licensing is the norm and isn't depicted as wrong or abusive. For government sponsored superheroes, Invincible had an interesting take on it, with the Guardians Of The Globe.
Mostly they seemed to just get information and funding from the government, but the guardians are out of focus given that Invincible himself isn't actually a member.
Either "ring notes" or "rings note", depending on how that interface is working.
The idiom is "pass muster".
When accused of being fascist, Overgirl looks slightly confused and informs her accuser that she's not Italian.I just think it's sort of funny/appropriate that the world where fascism is a dirty word is the world that has a literal Nietzschian Superman, not the world of Nazis
I know that people connecting Nietzsche to Nazis is because his sister inherited editing rights to his work and she was a Nazi, so the term should be inherently fascist, which makes it appropriate that superman and moverman are from the parallels they're from, but I'm still getting a sensible chuckle out of it.
Sure, with Reichsbürger it's unambiguous because it's an established term, so even Neureichsbürger would probably be either obvious or I'd presume it's some sort of pun/joke about rich eccentrics. I agree that strictly speaking there's no ambiguity, and presumably due to the preestablished term the terminology would be unambiguous to a speaker from this alternate universe. I'm just saying, anything starting with Neureich I'd be searching for the joke.I think "Neue Reichsmänner" would be okay for a direct translation. The problem is mainly, that the nazi wouldn't have called their superheroes that. But the writers wanted just a groupname that sounds nazi german for their audiences.
I think Schutzstaffel (SS) would have been a better name for a nazi superhero team. But since it is already used, just Schutz- (protection) and then any oder military word for a group (for example Einheit Zug Kommando Garnison Truppe Korps Kolonne Abteilung Kompanie Bataillon Mannschaft) or "Wache" (watch).
I don't think I ever misunderstood someone speaking about "Reich" meaning empire with"reich" meaning rich. Since the later is an adjective and in german we change the ending of them depending on the grammatical case (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grammatical_case ) of the word it refers to.
For example:
ReichE Bürger= rich citizens
Reichsbürger = Reich Citizens aka idiots https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reichsbürgerbewegung

Thank you, corrected.
Overgirl is speaking German. She's hearing him in German and may not have realised that he isn't speaking German as that is what the ring is making her hear. The ring translates into a person's primary language.Wait, is Overgirl speaking German with the ring translating both ways? Or would Paulragon speaking English be indicative of something wrong? Do rings translate languages that a bilingual person can speak into their native tongue? Or do they leave second languages untranslated?
Right, just remembered the Wonder Woman accidental pun from way back, translation is something you've already referencedOvergirl is speaking German. She's hearing him in German and may not have realised that he isn't speaking German as that is what the ring is making her hear. The ring translates into a person's primary language.
She thinks, and then reaches up behind her ear and presses something. When she speaks, her accent is different.
She changed which language she was speaking because she was the one who made the accidental pun.Did the SI ever figure out how Diana was able to change her primary language almost at will? Some sort of technology like that would be pretty valuable.
She changed which language she was speaking because she was the one who made the accidental pun.
No, she didn't. She switched from speaking ancient Greek, which the ring translated to English and caused the accidental pun, to speaking English, which ended up with the same "translation".She changed more than which language she was speaking. She changed what language the ring translated to for his speech. That's a pretty significant ability.
