I'd expect to her it's just scienceGiven her stated origin, I would say that she is horrifyingly familiar with it.

Primary sources trump secondary. Case in point: the TVTropes page for this story.I only saw that Overman was adopted by Adolf Hitler on his DC wiki page. This would make him Addies adopted uncle.
Not any time soon.
Jimmy 10 isn't treasonous. He's loyal to his government. It would be interesting if earth 16 Jimmy found out about his traitorous nazi counterpart.
The SI has already briefly met Uncle Sam 16. I have no plans for him to meet Uncle Sam 10.Will the paragon meet Uncle Sam, I know that he saw him when Red Tornado became a citizen but will he speak to him?
I have no plans for him to do so.
This one and one more. Also as to my April Fools question, I was wondering how many more episodes are we going to have before April first in your stories universe?
Yes. Mostly.
Where's the rest of him- Oh, wait, the chunk of his soul in his daughter would stay behind. Unless she came along?
Oh good, I liked Helmut Schreiber as a character. In my head, I imagined Germany and Israel wanting to giving him an all expense paid tour so they could give him a proper "Victory parade" and generally treat him as a great Hero of All Free People of the World. He would politely decline, still recovering from the shock of finding out who his........ twin brother was (might be better than calling him a father, more accurate from a genetics perspective).
Where's the rest of him- Oh, wait, the chunk of his soul in his daughter would stay behind. Unless she came along?
without doing the 'universal raising of class consciousness' thing that's Marx assumed would come first.
We were all waiting for it.
With a little extra tweaking afterwards. I hope she doesn't hold it against him..."My friend Kon-El is composed of a cloned tissues taken from Kal-El and a human man named Lex Luthor. With just a little metamorphic tissue added in to make the resulting life form functional. He was grown in a laboratory from foetushood."
"He is.. like me, then? A kryptonian/human hybrid?"
As previously noted, one other survived: their Bizarro, the Antihuman. I'm sure she's not proud of that fact..."Similar, though as they used a very different technique the results weren't quite the same. Are you the only one like you where you're from?"
The slight aversion of her eyes combined with the hesitation suggests that she's about to lie.
The joy of having a handy VI working with you. Instant expository footage."Yes. I am the only living hybrid. But-. While I am sure that there are many things about the differences between our worlds we could discuss, we should focus on what brought me here. How did it look from your side?"
I nod. "Jor-El? If you would?"
No reaction to seeing herself injured? Presumably she's choosing to ignore it."Jor-?"
A hologram showing the red hole as it is now appears, along with a scale. Next to it a recording plays of me appearing next to it and it expanding and disgorging her. She watches the playthrough, then returns her attention to me.
"Who is Jor-El?"
Likely there was no personality crystal in Earth-10's pod. Or it was damaged either in the crash, or in the scientific study that would have followed."Kal-El's father?" She shakes her head. "The man who sent him to Earth in the first place, in order to get him off Krypton when it exploded? In this parallel he included a near-copy of his mind with Superman's pod."
"I.. don't think that I ever knew his name. I.. don't even know that Overman knows it."
A better name for the group, thanks to the Ring's translator. And good to know they're good people, regardless of ideology."Well, you can let him know when you next see him. Assuming that's the same on your parallel. Do you know what the.. red thing is?"
She shakes her head. "No. Something much like it appeared over the skies of Greater Germania. The New Statemen were investigating, when smaller portals began opening all across our world. One of them opened in front of a train. I attempted to stop the train safely, but I was pushed through myself. After that…" She shakes her head. "I do not clearly remember. Pain, burning, disorientation…" She shakes her head again. "I am sorry, I do not remember anything else until I awoke here."
Hmm... Fatherly love, I hope. It'd be skeevy otherwise. Though not unlikely she'd have a crush."You said that Overman gave you advice on how to behave. Does this sort of thing happen a lot where you're from?"
"Not often, but he has travelled to parallel universes before." She smiles faintly. "He has been my world's greatest hero for sixty years. He has a large amount of experience to share with me."
Presumably with Kal's aid, he didn't face the paranoia and opposition that led to the purges. For a moment I see his face. His hair's a little shorter than Kal-El's, but otherwise they could be the same man. The memory I'm seeing… She was younger -and shorter- then, and his expression is a mixture of surprise and joy.
I remember reading Red Son, and that version of Kal-El was still a good person. Just one with a radically different ideology than the one I'm used to. Stalin might have made extensive use of political executions and prisoner labour but he didn't. He awkwardly referred to it as being part of an earlier age.
Come on, OL, surely you can think of something. How would a Kal-El who grew up in Nazi Germany be a 'good' man?
…
Given he was a child when the original Holocaust would have taken place, he may never have encountered it... Yeah, okay, he'd probably have picked up on it when his super-hearing started to come in...I'm coming up with nothing. Stalin's terror tactics aren't inherent to the Communist ideal; they were just his method for realising it without doing the 'universal raising of class consciousness' thing that's Marx assumed would come first. But Nazi ideology is inherently genocidal. The idea that some people are lesser than others as a result of their genetic background is an intrinsic part of it. So… Maybe he'd just be less vicious about it? Exile rather than mass murder?
Since given his power, he could do quite a lot of damage to those in charge if he put his mind to it...I can ask Overgirl for the details later. But in her case, there's no way a 'good' Nazi would accept someone experimenting on Aryan children like that.
I suspect that they didn't tell him what they were doing.
Oooh, that's a good question...Because they were worried that he'd stop them. Which means that whatever else he is, he isn't mindlessly obedient to the wishes of the Fuhrer-.
"Do your people still have a Fuhrer, or did they reinstate the Reichstag?"
Ah, so Hitler or his successor rules the Homeland, while subordinate councils manage territories."Neither the Reichstag nor the Reichsrat were ever abolished." I raise my eyebrows sceptically. I suppose that it's possible their history-. "While the Fuhrer's executive powers are unlimited, it is not practical for one man to be aware of everything in the country. The representatives of both parts of the legislature form a vital role in linking central government to the people of each part of Germania, bringing forth issues and challenges so that they may be solved and the Empire strengthened further!"
Beginning with the Sivanas, I hope? Because if it wasn't them, they'd be able to help unravel the cause."Al.. right. So we've got no idea what the portals are, where they're from or who might be creating them."
"Could they be created by someone here?"
"Certainly. And now that I know that you don't know anything about them, I'll start contacting the most likely culprits."
Not when Bribery is so much more effective. She lights up her eyes again, but this time fully under control.
"Do you require assistance?"
"I prefer not to threaten people with violence."
Not that she'll believe that, I expect."Then what do you threaten them with?"
"Mind control. Or at least, significant external mental influence." Her eyes dim once again and she blinks at me in surprise. "Most powerful Orange Lantern. I can nudge a person's desires in a variety of ways. And no, I haven't done that to you."
And it's probably better to keep her where he can see her...Her face becomes carefully blank.
"If I had, the idea wouldn't still bother you." Hm. "Alright, I need to report in, then you can either accompany me on my rounds or stay here and read up on our history. I assume that you want to be involved in the investigation?"
I'm sure that's part of her interdimensional contact protocols. Deferring to local authorities, within reason. She nods sharply. "Yes."
"I will point out that with the Nazi's-"
"National Socialists's."
"-defeat, this world and its people are obviously rather different to what you're used to. Please defer to me before doing anything rash."
And that's likely how they dealt with the issue of purity. By loosening the requirements. She nods. "This is your world. I.. would prefer not to deal with.. certain people-."
"I'm aware. Is now a good time to mention that one of my great grandfathers was a gypsy?"
"One-" She shrugs. "-great grandfather is within acceptable bounds. You could never be Fuhrer, but few are afforded that opportunity."
Oh, boy, and already her open-mindedness is tested..."How nice." I raise my left hand. "Orange Lantern to Watchtower. Our guest has woken up. I'm afraid she doesn't have an explanation as to exactly what happened. A great many portals opened on the parallel Earth she comes from and she accidentally went through one while protecting a train."
John's face appears over my ring, prompting a quickly-suppressed frown from Overgirl.
So, no risk right now of anything else coming through... Short of Overman coming looking for his partner."Understood. What's her name?"
"Overgirl."
He nods. "The hole looks like it's settled down for now. We're feeding the information to Earth's best physics researchers to see if they can work out what's going on."
Okay, now for some investigation..."'Best' or 'best conventional'?"
"Both. Though if you can get hold of someone we can't, be my guest."
"Will do. I'll let you know if I find anything. Orange Lantern out."
...After a quick introduction to local history, focusing on the Civil Rights movement...
"Will do. I'll let you know if I find anything. Orange Lantern out."
His head disappears-.
"Was that a negro?"
I'm looking forward to MC trying to explain why calling someone 'black' in Spanish is significantly more offensive than doing the same in English without having to do a massive social/language history exposition.
I'm looking forward to MC trying to explain why calling someone 'black' in Spanish is significantly more offensive than doing the same in English without having to do a massive social/language history exposition.
Especially since it's not universal and in some languages it's 'negro' that's socially acceptable, while 'black' is insulting to various degrees.
That's why it's more polite to refer to everyone as 'cunts'.I'm looking forward to MC trying to explain why calling someone 'black' in Spanish is significantly more offensive than doing the same in English without having to do a massive social/language history exposition.

Thank you, corrected.
The thing to remember is that they're not Nazi supervillains, fighting against liberty and apple pie. They're Nazi superheroes, fighting against aliens, insurgents and race-traitors. At this point in history, most of their work is conventionally superheroic, even if the terrorists they kill claim to be motivated by a dead political ideology.A better name for the group, thanks to the Ring's translator. And good to know they're good people, regardless of ideology.
Oh gosh no, he still killed loads of people. Kal-El missed the Second World War, and wasn't discovered until years later.Presumably with Kal's aid, he didn't face the paranoia and opposition that led to the purges.
Actually, no. The legislature has actual power in Greater Germania, subordinate to the Fuhrer. Foreign allies are a separate thing, and some are quite independent.Ah, so Hitler or his successor rules the Homeland, while subordinate councils manage territories.
I haven't decided. I suspect that he's dead.
I'm going to say no to this one.Was there a version of the SI on earth 50, i think someone mentioned him being lobotomized, and i was wondering if it was true?
I don't currently plan to make it one.
It's certainly possible. Will we see anyone from earth 10 sometimes in the future, that is after this episode, and if it is a two parter, the next one finishes?
It's certainly possible. Will you insert a character from another fictional setting like you did with Misa, Death Note, and Sunset, MLP, in the paragon side?
Yes, it's amazing how many mistakes could be attributed to him after he died and how all of the surviving officers had always disagreed with him and therefore couldn't be blamed for any of it. It's a bit like how none of the English football team at the world cup really wanted to do a Nazi salute. So did Hitler learn to listen to experienced military professionals? That's supposedly one of his greatest errors - preferring bootlickers in office to experienced professionals neutral on the race issue.
I haven't decided, but I'm leaning towards 'no'.Hey i wanted to ask you about souls and sorry but this is going to be really long.
Are people who don't have souls immune to Anti-Life in your story?
Having largely avoided violent conflict... Aside from a brief period where Morgana le Faye turned the whole of Britain medieval, he hasn't really encountered much magic. He'll probably build one very slowly by natural processes.Does Peter Wynne know that he doesn't have a soul, and if so then has he tried to fix it by hiring some magic users to help him, like say Circe, she seemed to be more of a party girl in the cartoon and just liked messing with Diana, rather than someone who is trying to kill her to avoid a prophecy?
No. Since Atlantis 12 is tech-based, there isn't a ready pool of qualified magicians.
I don't know enough about how souls work in Universe 199999 to comment. How is MCU SI dealing with his lack of a soul, or does he not know about it?
I believe that when we saw Asgard, they were still trying to pretend that magic wasn't a thing and it was all advanced technology. If he knows then how would he try to fix it? He could go to Asgard.
The power stone, and I'm not sure. How is the MCU SI been changed by using a infinity stone to power his ring, and what infinity stone is that?
He's barely spent any time on Earth and so hasn't gotten around to investigating them.Has the MCU SI injected himself with the super soldier serum, or at least something else to give himself superpowers, like extremis or something else?
Again, there is no ready pool of magic users. He and Hela might talk about it during his holiday in her realmIs avenger Paul getting help with that whole no soul thing from Asgard and Hela, i read a fan made omake about how she says that she will increase her efforts at giving him a soul, and has he injected himself with some super serum in this universe or something to give him powers?
It's probably a bit more red.
Atros was a highly capable magic user before he became a Lantern.I know that Atrocitus noticed that he didn't have one and just gave him one, but is his soul made of the red light like Pauls is made of orange or is it just earthly/material universe magic, or a combination of both, or simply being different because the magic that was used was from an alien planet?
It's about the same. How is the soul of Anti Green SI?
Is it more powerful than an average individual because he basically takes a dip in the Lazarus Pit on a daily basis and is thus injected with more magic, or is it weaker than an average individual, or is it somehow well deformed?
There's a reasonably normal Renegade episode, and random exerts with other versions of the SI.Hey if your April first episode happens when renegade goes to Equestria, then will he go to alternate universes aside from that one like the paragon did?
And I think she's speaking German, with the ring translating? I have no idea what the proper and improper ways to refer to black people are, but I suppose the ring caught her intent?I'm looking forward to MC trying to explain why calling someone 'black' in Spanish is significantly more offensive than doing the same in English without having to do a massive social/language history exposition.
Especially since it's not universal and in some languages it's 'negro' that's socially acceptable, while 'black' is insulting to various degrees.
Something like that?I know that Atros was a capable magic user, but does your post above mean that it's made of material universe magic with some red light in it, like John Stewart 50 after he flew into the battery but before renegade did his soul surgery to give him powers similar to the Guardians?
He knows that there's something structured about him, but he hasn't linked it to the concept of 'enlightenment'.Does the renegade know that Talbot is red enlightened, or is he just thinking that he is very good at controlling and using his anger, rather than having perfect equilibrium with his hatreds and furies, like the paragon has with his desires?
No, not really.
Yes.Is John Stewart 50 enlightened and is that gl Illustres with the green quote marks, the one OL met on Oa and looks like a diamond, also enlightened?
Yes, but without awakening they'd have to learn how to use it the hard way.Would it be possible for Paul and Guy to use their powers like Stewart 50 without his ring, both of them have had the embodiment of their respective spectrum fuse with them?
It isn't a realm of gods. They were quite carefully to never call them that in the cartoon. Also avenger Paul has Asgard, a realm of literal gods, and possibly Olympus if Thor is friends with Herakles like in the comics, to get the necessary help he needs in obtaining a soul.
