How many jaws are going to drop from seeing Kori? I am remembering an issue of Gotham Central where all the cops ogled Starfire when she visited; both males and females.

Considering that she may be engaging in potential police work she may want to wear the clothes he gave her when he trained her.

If she's wearing the clothes OL gave her when he started training her, full body solar absorbing clothes, instead of traditional Tamaranean clothes then they may not ogle her.

Incidentally, Darko, thanks for letting me know it was there. The author used to have that fic as well as a lot of other sexually explicit fics on Archive of Our Own but first stopped posting them, then started taking them down after getting harrassed both in comments on the site and on multiple social networks about putting sex in comic book universes that are "clearly for kids". I hadn't saved many of them before they were deleted so I actually never got to read a bunch of the later chapters of stories I'd liked the beginning of but never got around to reading. Though looking, not all of them are on Literotica either. Phooey. I liked Ultimacy.

Oh, don't worry. It was about the time... Well, I read a complaint that an author subscribed to a form of utilitarianism which would require them to torture a child to death if it prevented a sufficiently large number of people getting a small scratch. The implication being that a small scratch should never be sufficient justification. Then I realised that if the number of scratches was very big and a proportion would get infected and wouldn't be treated... Yes, you could get to a point where that kind of made sense.

It may be monstrous, but it may still be in the best interest of the community as a whole.

The brainwashing may be in the best interest of the community as a whole, but turning them into sexual playthings really doesn't serve the community, or him for that matter as even those willing to accept that the brainwashing may be necessary may not accept the sex slave part and may try to rebel against him, because leaving someone that twisted in charge can end terribly for a lot of people even if it does appear he is doing a lot of good. They may try to keep doing what he is doing, advancing the world, even if they remove him, but not doing the horrible shit he is doing.

Zoat so far we've seen various alternate version of Orange Ring wielders and what they're doing.

Are we ever going to see more versions of alternate ring colors Paul's, like different red ring wielders, aside from Raul, different yellow ring wielders, aside from LP. etc.?

Probably not. Extreme ring users with buckle under the madness or go v'tosh ka'tur. Another red ring user would either be rabid or more of the same.

I was thinking more along the lines of say a yellow ring version that became a superhero or something close to that and how he would go about using his ring to perform his activities, unlike Lord Protector who's a ruler and doesn't engage in superheroics, aside from potentially fighting Mumm Ra sometime in the future, or a blue lantern that wasn't forced to become a criminal etc.

Basically not so much a focus on them mastering their rings, but on what they would be like under different circumstances and what they could achieve under those different circumstances if they made different choices.

Are we ever going to see a version of Paul that ended up with a non standard DC comics power ring, like say a Teal Ring?

There was this omake in the Teal Lantern story on SB where Paul is having an argument with his Teal Ring about the ring not allowing him to snipe al Ghul.:D

Mastering the ring and what that does to their personality is where the internal conflict comes from. I wouldn't want to remove that.

You wouldn't have to remove the internal conflict of them mastering their rings, just alter their circumstances, like Blue Lantern not having to be a criminal, or them choosing a different career path.

We've seen various versions of the Orange Lantern variety that chose different career paths and ended up in different circumstances, so writing about other alternate ring color users, aside from the ones you already wrote, shouldn't be all that difficult to someone of your talent.

In fairness, it wasn't all of the female cops ogling her. Just two: Maggie Sawyer and Renee Montoya. Because they're, y'know, gay.

The rest of the women in the stationhouse (and, IIRC, the one gay male cop in the room) were instead rather amused at the reactions once they noticed Sawyer and Montoya joining in.

Well, given that the whole plot of the story was, according to its creator, basically an excuse for writing as much polyamorous smutty shenanigans as possible, is it a surprise that it's inefficient?
 
Zoat what happened to Morrow in the renegade timeline if Truggs didn't assimilate him like in the paragon side?

On thinking more on it. I think part of why it didn't hit me as hard as it has hit others is I'm honestly not sure if I'd be any better if given that kind of power. Oh, sure, I'd like to be able to say that I'd never resort to mass brainwashing to get what I want. That I'd never make someone want to be with me.

But I can't. Not really. Faced with the temptation to just be able to make people want the same things that you want? To know that, at any time, you could have your crush return your feelings? All you have to do is use the power that has been given to you and you can make it happen. All your dreams can come true.

I'd worry that within a week I'd be monologuing about creating the perfect world once the network of orbital mind control lasers comes online.

And I wouldn't even have the excuse that I accidentally drank a literal Evil Potion. But I'm sure I'd strive to be a benevolent God-King. I'd even convince myself that it's for the greater good. Look at how happy everyone is. How bad can I possibly be?
