Well, he's certainly guilty of that.

Did he?
He broke out of Belle Reve and has been in the wind until now. It was in the same episode where Paul convinced Waller and John Quinn to put the Tower of Fate there for magic using criminals.Did he?
Or did he get out any number of legal ways?
And even if he did? Who's to say he didn't get a pardon for it due to doing something like helping in the Sheda invasion.

The joy of connections. Heck, if it works out, he might well be able to arrange a trade deal. I'm sure Euanthe can contribute some clever things to J and Alstair.
Oh, hell. Literally. Not him again. Almost as annoying as Truggs. But less likely to cause a disaster directly.
to hurt John directly is out now that he's well out of the Demon's league. But messing with his loved ones, as discreetly as he can manage? That might work
The timeline's not nearly that far along in this story for that to have occurred.I think he failed at raping Gemma in this story, so trying to hurt others John cares about could be his motive.

I was.I think Paul once referred to him as "niece-raping", but I guess it's possible that Paul was just referring to what he did in the comics instead of in this story.
Penny in the air.Mr Zoat Was it ever said in story that Demon Constantine escaped from prison? Cause him being out is news to me.
Should I join you?"
"That-."
I want to say, 'that won't be necessary, thank you', but the fact is that my relationship with the British government is nothing like good enough to storm in, do my thing and then leave without it causing a huge mess for everyone else. Whereas Dr. Balewa has a Justice League warrant, can legally make arrests and is by default treated as the expert that he is in the field of magic
Given how... Lively... Transit through the Honden can be, I'm not surprised he's taking every precaution to ensure his little treat arrives in the same shape he left J with. I am impressed that he got one so quickly. All of two hours to score an early production model?
Really? Darn, I had half a mind to say that John had been in his cell all along.I checked, and it was in the last part of Episode 73: Retribution.
Well, at least OL got one Constantine. Will he be staying in the Tower of Fate for the rest of the story?Really? Darn, I had half a mind to say that John had been in his cell all along.
John, clean up after himself?I figured john with actual power now was running around cleaning up any of his old messes he was guilty about causing when he was always scraping by the skin of his teeth.
I think an appropriate term at this point would be either demi-entity or lesser emotional embodiment.I like to think of him as Ophidian's thinking-brain human.... But I suppose I should put quotes around "human" at this point.
If the desires weren't in Demon Constantine a year ago, does that hint they were artificially shoved inside his head?
Did the real John modify his Demon counterpart's desires to use him as a decoy?
The Arcobaleno Reborn.I mean, he is an incarnation of chaos now. And what is more against the order of things than John Constantine cleaning up his messes and making people's lives better.
I figured john with actual power now was running around cleaning up any of his old messes he was guilty about causing when he was always scraping by the skin of his teeth.
Ok I see words but none of them make any sense, John cleaning up after himself and not making things worse?
Typical Constantine Move right there. If the desires weren't in Demon Constantine a year ago, does that hint they were artificially shoved inside his head?
Did the real John modify his Demon counterpart's desires to use him as a decoy?
Now Poorly thought out good intentions in an attempt to clean up old messes and having them go pear shaped is the John Constantine we know and barely tolerate.Honestly, if John is behind this then maybe he thought he can make his old flame happy with a new man and he can also make Demon Constantine happy if he altered him and he does it because he brought his wretched existence into being, so maybe he can make it up to him like this.
"...But if you get there, then-"
"Hugo's the head of state."
"-go him." I nod at Euanthe and Mr. Zatara.
It was originally going to be something like 'go you'.Is this supposed to be 'go him' as in "Go team!", or is it supposed to be 'go to him' or something? The former doesn't make much sense here and I'm not sure what else it could be intended to mean.
I thought the reason constantine was always lying, cheating, and making a mess of things was at least partially because of not being powerful enough to fix shit straight up with brute force. I also thought he had alot of guilt for some of his capers going sideways that he always would have done differently if he had any other reasonable options. Now he has power and options, it didnt seem impossible to me that he would have character growth, but i am not really familiar with his comics either.
Considering the plan to turn every plant in the world into something harmful to demons... wouldn't that be a dick move?"John, we're looking for John. Tell us where he is and I'll try talking Waller into letting you have a potted plant."
